That curse is far bigger than you think! In Mark 10:17-31, Jesus told the rich man to give away all of his belongings! Man has no right to be on the Earth at all, as man has failed the Lord allready (the instant Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden), and has proven himself again and again as a complete moral failure in the eyes of the Lord! So in the New Testament, the "tithe" is really all of your income and posessions!

You gotta do waaay far better than that to have a chance of going to Heaven! Too many people think that having Jesus in their hearts and being friendly to others and living a good life will get one into Heaven and keep one out of Hell, but they are sorely wrong! There are thousands of commandments that must be followed, thousands of sins to be avoided, and even if you do your absolute best, there is still no guarantee that you will stay out of Hell (Matthew 7:21-23). Unless your righteousness equals that of God Himself, you will be thrown into Hell! (Matthew 5:48)

scorpion1: This is an issue that i have pondered over for some time. I guess people marry under various circumstances. when the bible tells us divorce is wrong, what kind of xtians is the bible talking to?

1. Is it the nominal xtian. Born into a xtian home and doesnt go to church at all?
2. Is it a xtian that attends Methodist, Baptist, Catholic etc
3. Are we talking about xtians that attend RCCG, Household, Christ Embassy, Winners etc (I mean Pentecostals)
4. Alternative, is it xtians that were not born again before they got married and divorced before they accepted christ?
5. Or christians, that dont even go to church at all, but had to go to church just because they needed to marry?

Oh yes you most certainly will go to Hell for remarrying after a divorce! Remarriage after a divorce is a continuous, nonstop state of adultery!!! Even more than that; there is no forgiveness at all unless and/or until the remarriage is terminated!!!

Any person who remarries for any reason other than the death of the first and original spouse commits a continuous nonstop state of adultery and a one-way trip to Hell!
