CODM tasking games is not because it is more graphically intensive. You have been throwing the term around now.

CODM has optimization issues and bugs. Last year CODM was causing phones to shut down and even bricked some phones. That was why I quickly uninstalled it.

PUBG on the other hand is very optimized to run on many phones despite it's graphical load. Attached is the size of PUBG on my device.

CODM needs serious fixing.

I no dey ever engage in these CODM Vs PUBGM, Android Vs iOS, PS Vs Xbox, PES Vs FIFA cos all na the same wey e go end the other no go gree you so I pick what I prefer and go with it but it's a known fact PUBGM is more graphically intensive on devices than CODM.. but hey everyone with he's or her own opinion.

Now, know this, PUBG isn't even close to CoDM when it comes to system requirements (CPU and GPU). A lot of mid-rangers would play PUBG smoothly at very high settings.

Actually reverse is the case midrangers plays CODM better at high settings PUBG will straight up tell you not available on your device.. highest settings I can go on RN8 PUBGM is Balanced and Medium FPS(20fps) which is practically unplayable for me so..
First SS is the best option for RN8
Second SS is the highest possible for RN8
Third SS is me taping HD and it's been like that since the launch of RN8..

CoDM is a lot more intensive than PUBG, try playing battle Royale on CoDM for the same stretch of time and see. Remember to set your graphics and frame rate to the highest your device can handle

Now that's where your problems lie.. knowing the my phone isn't capable of keeping up with the highest possible settings available and it's a battle royale I prefer lowest possible graphics settings and highest possible FPS... Na why I dey game for long without having heating issues. Nd PUBG Mobile is more graphics intensive the CODM.

Been playing PUBG Mobile for long periods and I don't experience over heating ever since. When I mean long periods 2-3hours almost everyday I'm free.. that was before the update sha after the update I've not played too much but when I did it was still the same thing.

Also when using floating window, you can interchange the apps like you can switch the floating app with the one in the background making the one in the BG to float and the other maximized.. dunno if you understand.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update popped up last night on my RN8 and I didn't even hesitate updating.
The phone feels more faster and notifications are no longer scattered like on MIUI 12

Yup I like how the media player is a little bit to the center of the display in the lockscreen making it easier to reach.

I removed the screen guard due to this issue

I do all my updates and security patches

If you can backup your important files and try factory resetting it to see if it's a software ish if after it still persists might be a hardware issue.

Battery life I go still dey observe, fonts not applied everywhere, that annoying floating window has still not been fixed when you receive SMS and you swipe down to open the floating window it'll still open the SMS app which is very annoying since from miui 12 android 10 to 11 and now 12.5 still the same just messages app sha.
I don't like the signal bars too big for my liking.. the UI is more fluid.

General issue or specific to RN10P? Cos I haven't seen that complaint from other device users here as frequently as N10P users. I just updated to 12.5 earlier today I haven't made any calls since cos I have a feature phone for that but I'll see if it's a general 12.5 issue.

I don't know why my screen goes blank anytime I make or receive phonecall.
Sometimes even watsapp calls too, my screen go blank as if it's off

When you make calls your screen will always go off when you place phone on your ear.. unless your proximity sensor is misbehaving

Still observing... Smooth so far and the WhatsApp notification issue is fixed.

you are funny sha, you just imposed your thoughts on me without asking any question, did you ask me if I selected 4G or LTE only?? I didn't select that and my phone has always been on auto switching to 3G whenever I'm making call until recently.

Ask questions first before imposing statement on someone.

Alright just check *#*#4636#*#* confirm the selection there then try changing it to global or LTE/Wcdma/Auto something like that.. if it doesn't work na to factor reset or reinstall full ROM don remain
