Earlier I received the Android 11 update.
But due to the bad reviews I saw online regarding the update. I refused to update it.

Today I just received a notification for the MIUI 12.5 update.

The question is; can I update to MIUI 12.5 while still on Android 10?

If Google is the one pushing the update to phones with android one, then how about other phones not using android like xioami, Samsung etc and they are getting the android software all the time for like 2 years, abi na Google they do that one too.

Every phones manufacturers have engineers that get most of these android softwares from Google, they work on it and push to their phones. Only phone companies like tecno, infinix etc that are new and have not gotten to thag level of updating android software prefer to settle for phones that doesn't have the capacity to get update because those phones are just for a short period of time. They need to make money until they get to that level where they can be producing phones that would be to stand software update.

Undertand that the android software is a business from Google that Google sell to phone manufacturers. So, it's not Google that push to any phone, it his the phone manufacturers. All Google does is to sell it to any company that want it, then its left for the company to tweak and align it to work on their device.

Oya lemme end it here with you are not 100% correct so as @holuwasheiWGP is not 100% correct.
See every android one devices Google is in charge of the softwares updates be it full OS updates or security patches but be that as it may Google sends the update to the manufacturers, and said manufacturers tweak a few stuffs before finally releasing it to the public..
An example is the Xiaomi Mi A3 that had an issue with Android 10 where it bricked most devices. Google has sent them the update so they tweaked a couple of things first in fact that Android 10 took about 3 tries before they got it right.

Go online and get enlightened, Google responsibility stopped for a long time now due to some software defects.

Not brightness, Its the dark mode,have to switch off all the dark mode settings options , also do the same for all individual apps, Miui 12 bug

Every thing I downloaded from chrome were on same folder

So when I watch a movie and want to add downloaded subtitles I can easily find them

On my redmi there do not display in my phone at all, it's almost like I did not download anything

Battery performance of Redmi Note 8 on Miui 12.5 is Amazing. It's like the performance on miui 10.

Edit: Seems Miui 12.5 is actually different from 12.0.5. I was actually referring to 12.0.5 on Note 8.

Turns out what was affecting my screenshot quality was dark mode... unbelievable bah??

Now I have to choose between using dark mode or getting clear screenshots at least till an update comes

For 4G+ apart from airtel other network(MTN and Glo)depends on Carrier aggregation. If the both bands needed aren't available on your smartphone you may not get it.

RN10 Pro there is 4G+ but in most cases the resultant download speeds I have experienced aren't much of a difference.

Hello, I use a redmi note 8 but i don't get mtn 4g+ in where i stay, i only get 4g infact i've never gotten 4g+ since i started using it, whereas my room mates thats uses samsung s8+ and s9+ gets 4g+ and able to browse well with mtn...i'm considering getting redmi note 10 pro, will i get 4g+ connectivity on it? And is it that redmi note 8 doesn't support 4g+ connectivity? Or theres a way to get around it? Please i need answers to this, thank you.
