InvertedHammer:They may take legal action against you. Remember, you signed an undertaking that you wil pay. But why will someone think about not paying after all they have done for you and after you willingly signed an undertaking? |
alphaStoner:Yea but according to their policy, they only forward your application to a company they know will pay far better than what you're currently earning, such that even after paying the 50%, what is left in your pocket will still be more than your previous salary and you pay them for only two or three months. |
freeze001:Yes, they don't collect any money from you until you get the job and pay the agreed amount. |
I will like to find out your views on the terms and conditions of this company. They help people get jobs. They first test you to see whether you are qualified or not. They then work on your CV and submit it to the prospective employer. They also give you all the assistance you need before, during and after the interview with the employer to ensure you get the job. They do no ask for money while helping out with this but when you get the job, you are required to pay the company 50% of either your first two-month or 50% of your first three-month salary, depending on what you get as salary. Do you think is fair enough for the applicant and the company? Thanks. |
There's this consultancy firm, which helps applicants seeking employment into schools and other companies. They first give you written and oral interview to ensure you meet the minimum requirements. They then work on your CV to ensure the employer finds you suitable for a job interview. They recommend you to employers and give you all the necessary orientation, including materials (printed and electronic) that may aid you in securing the job. Throughout this period, they do not collect any money from you. But before sending you to the employer, you have to sign an undertaking asking you to pay 50% of either your first two-month or 50% of your 1st 3-month salary, depending on the salary you get. For instance, if your salary is N100,000, you pay N50,000 the first month and another N50,000 the second month (if it is first two months) or N50,000 for the first three months if your agreement says 50% of first three month salary and that will be all. For graduates, the salary applicants have been able to get through them ranges from N70,000 to N500,000. Do you think the terms are fair enough on both parties? Any relevant comment or experience will be appreciated. |
Among the dignitaries who graced the coronation of the immediate past Ooni (Okunade Sijuwade) was the Queen of England and that explains why some may have conjectured that the Queen will also attend this one but either she is present or not has nothing to do with fact that the Ooni is a foremost king in Nigeria and well respected and revered all over the world. ril19: |
I don't think there necessarily have to be a civil war for the Yoruba to break from Nigeria. If the Yoruba are seceding , they do not necessarily have to do it through a bloody war. The Yoruba can leave Nigeria intelligently and legally without bloodshed if they are serious about it. I may not be from their race but I am convinced if there is any race that can do that successfully in Nigeria, it is the Oodua race. |
