#copied# A mother's letter to her boys about their pee-pee Dear Boys, There are a few things I think you ought to know about the pe*nis. You know, the dangly appendage that occupies your thoughts and/or your hands for a large percentage of the day? As a concerned mother, I feel it’s my duty to enlighten you. Now, never having been in possession of one myself, I can’t be considered an outright expert … but I’d like to think that my experience raising sons counts for something. Relax … it isn’t going anywhere. It will stay right there in your pants (provided you’re wearing any), so you can stop clutching it while you watch TV and falling asleep with it in your fingers. In fact, it will be with you for the rest of your life, so maybe you should think about being a little less rough with it. One exception: having a firm grip on it is encouraged – and preferred – when using the toilet. It’s floppy, and when you don’t have it under control, you spray like a leaky hose. Keep it in your drawers, mmkay? (This is a piece of advice that will have a different, but equally significant, meaning during your teen years – so don’t forget it.) There’s really no need to lay it on your brother’s arm. Or dip it in your chocolate milk. Or poke it through the hole of a DVD. Or wrap it around your eating utensils. Or your pencil. Or your brother’s pencil. It might not hurt you when you stretch it out ten miles long like it’s made of rubber, but it hurts me just looking at it, so stop. On rare occasions, you may actually let go of it in order to grasp something else. Like a sandwich, or your brother’s face. In the event of such occasions, hand-washing before you touch anything else is the courteous (and sanitary) thing to do. It’s not the end of the world when it’s facing the wrong way or bunched up in your underwear. No need for a meltdown. It’s handy and portable and all that, but just because you can pee anywhere doesn’t mean you should. If you’re gonna stretch/dangle/pull/twist/twiddle or otherwise manhandle (boy-handle?) it, please do so in your room and spare us all a little awkwardness. Please. I’ve seen it a million times, boys. There’s no need to waggle it in my direction after your bath, nor make it dance and jump around by thrusting around like Elvis with a hula hoop. (This also goes for your dad, so pass that tidbit along.) I’m hoping this letter will serve as a handy reference to the proper penile etiquette, and that you’ll start having a little ding-dong dignity. You’ll thank me later – or at least your wife will. Lots of love, Mommy. |

ToyosiR: I have gone to the hospital and the doctor gave me piriton and septrin but when i googled septrin with pregnancy, I discovered its not good in third trimester.sorry dear... I can imagine what u re going through... I suffered cold at a point in my pregnancy... Before i proceed with my little contribution, i want you to know that cold is a symptom of a lot of infections such as Malaria. Now first and foremost, go and do a malaria investigative test... If the result comes out positive, then you have to treat for malaria which is the root cause... As for the cold, you just might have to try these home remedies- Get raw ginger and blend it then boil it a bit to extract the juice. Mix the juice with honey and lime juice as well and be sipping it as often as you can... As for the catarrh, put Robb in a plastic bowl and pour very hot water into it. Put your head into the bowl and inhale the steam that will be coming out with your head and shoulder covered by a huge towel... you can do this thrice daily till you get relief... Then take vitamin C as well with lots of oranges... If you are having blocked nose, you can get a Robb inhaler...That was what I used during my own time to prevent blockage for my nostrils. Avoid cold medications in pregnancy, most of them are not safe... Get well soon. sending you lots of positive healing energy. Cheers |

aye88: Somebody please help meeee. I'm six weeks pregnant. I usually dip my hand into my virginal to check the colour of the discharge. Starting from week five, I noticed that after dippin my hand into the virginal, it looks white but when I clean the hand with tissue, its brownish. I initially felt mayb its the pregnacare I was taking that turned my discharge into brown. But even now at six weeks, the discharge is still brownish. I don't have any pain, infact my lower abdomen feels hard and somhow gettin bigger. My pregnancy sympton is increasing by the day. As I type I'm irritated with the food I use to love especially fish. My basal temperature is still high. Just three days ago I still did a pregnancy test and the lines were bolder than it has ever been. Please I hope I'm okay. Should I go for a scan? Is this brownish discharge nornmal? Pls helpppFirst and foremost, stop dipping ur finger(s) into your vjay, very unhygienic practice. You may introduce some very dangerous microbes down there and let's not even forget Ebola. please and please stop doing that. Take all ur complaints to a doctor for proper examination. At 6 weeks, your womb should still be deep in your pelvis, which means you should not have started showing now. As for your preggy symptoms getting much, its quite normal and it would peak by 8-10 weeks and start subsiding thereafter...You are very much okay, nothing is wrong with you. you can wait for another 2 weeks before going for a scan. These are just my opinions and should not take precedence over a doctor's judgement. Wish you a successful 9 months and beyond... |
jvmum: hello everyone. happy to join you here after several months of guest membership-I guess necessity has knocked me off my lazy bum to officially join NL.Do you want to put the cerclage based on what? doctor's recommendation or because you had it during your previous pregnancy? |
mytestimony: Yes throwing up alot. Yesterday evening till midnight 8 times. At some point thought my intestines would come out. Trying to take them tabs o. Not easyPele. Nobody likes hospital o. But dear if the puking is getting out of hand, then u probably need med assistance, even if it comes in the form of that drip...lols. I did have a lot of morning sickness when I was pregs and was in and out of the hospital. At a time I had to resort to taking the treatment at home. Though I had my hubby to thank cos he is a med practitioner. So if you want house treatment, its possible as well, though the draw-back is that you won't be monitored the way you are being monitored in the hospital. Good luck though. It will soon pass. |
halimattt: Hello ladies, I am 29 weeks pregnant. my baby kick a lot & also move a lot during d day & nite, sometimes when am laying down. whenever my baby is turning i always feel pain in my hip & my back, he will be turning as if am having contractions. I went do scan last week Friday , they said he is in normal position dat everything is okay. I went to hospital yesterday my doctor gave me pain relief injection, am still feeling d back pain & every minute kick, but d leg pain hav reduced. If am walking it will be as if someone is pushing me, i can't sit down for a long time unless i change position. I don't know what to do?Welcome on board the third trimester train... These are a few of the many bumbs people do experience on the ride....Just like Ist trimester ms, it will soon pass. If the pain is becoming something else, just pop in 2 tabs of panadol and get a lil relief for the moment. Na so e dey do some of us. Pele dear... |
