Yes. It was an assured shorthand tenancy Agreement.

My people, please I need counsel on how to go about retrieving my deposit from my Landlord. Have moved out from his property and it's been 3 months and counting, yet he is yet to pay. Just even realized that the money was not deposited in any Government deposit protection scheme, as we were not even aware of that, being that, it was the first house we rented when we moved to the UK.

Please where can I officially report this matter and have our money returned back to us.

Please go ahead and apply. The deadline is 11th March, you are on time. As long as you tick all boxes, you will be issued your Visa.

How did they scale past the passport details section of the application please, because you can't continue with the application once you input an expired date, so how were they able to get around this please?

Please were you able to submit your visa application with the expired passport details? If yes, have you recieved a decision. I am in that quagmire now, and need to renew my visa, but no passport as NHC said they are still yet to produce mine.

Never heard where passport ask for date of marriage except I'm mistaking. But I know it does ask only if you are married or single.

I think she is referring to date of birth. The DOB on the 2 documents are different.

A friend of mine did biometric with me on 15june at Abuja TLS with Two dependants.... The two dependants have gotten there passport back 3weeks ago .... But the main applicant haven't gotten his passport, he sent a paid mail ..... They said decision have been made....but they have to excalate it to the concern office....


What do you suggest he should do please?

He should go to TLS and speak to them about it. They might have the passport o or might help him escalate from their end.

Yes she can. I have been married for 10years and didn't change my maiden name used in opening my bank accounts. POF[/color] [color=#000000] was in my maiden name and I am expecting my passport back anytime soon from UKVi. So, yes, she can go ahead and run the account. All she needs is to prove she has an existing marriage with other docs like change of name Newspaper publication, Marriage certificate, family pictures, etc.

The plan is to go to the registry tomorrow and have it done. After explaining my plight to the officer in charge, she said some of their protocols will be waived because our marriage is already subsisting. So we won't have to wait the 21day wait period stipulated by Government before we get the certificate.

yes, only if the church is licensed by Ministry of Interior to conduct marriages. My church marriage certificate was rejected as my church have no such licence. So you may consider going to register your marriage if your place of worship is not licensed to forestall any unnecessary delay as that is what I am facing now.

My TB Certificate came out with number of dependents as 0, meanwhile, I applied for my 3 dependents when I was applying for the Appointment and made payment together for us all. I am worried about that 0 dependents travelling with me ish on the certificate. Only noticed when I had arrived home. @ Duchess, @Justwise, @Solatium, @Gloriyah and other gurus here, I am worried about this affecting my dependents Visa application, what do you suggest I do at this point?

They attached a note and asked you to fund the account and you still dey ask if you should fund. Run and go fund it then rush to your branch and beg them to send a mail to the head office or the person handling it on the funds being available for debit. Do it today and not Monday.

Okay. The naira is getting stronger, that's really good.
It took exactly 6days to credit my pounds account and another 4 days for my school to be debited. I didn't call anyone, I just kept showing face at my branch and sitting with the head of ops there. Dude got tired of my face apparently and was stressing them at the headquarters too. I guess all these together helped my cause. As for telex, they said they only print, but considering the peculiarity of your case, they might make an exception send you a soft copy. I believe its doable.

I was debited at 529. It took a total of 10days from the time the naira left my account to the point when the school was credited. You may wait for less or more. Just mount pressure on them.
