Igbos n sentiment / hatred for the Yorubas. How can Tinubu be richer than an Atiku who sold all BPE business to himself at peanut just like Peter Obi bought brewery with Anambra state funds only to sell it to himself before leaving office. Atiku that single handedly control Onne port while Lagos port revenue is used to feed your father with Tinubu governing the state providing infrastructure yet he does not have access to 3% cos he as to share with all Nigeria. Atiku with 3 - 4 oils n many other illegally acquired assets while he was the VP. Sir, your head is not correct. CSTRR: If there is anybody more corrupt than atiku, that would be tinubu.

Indeed that was why the same Lagos was earning less than a billion naira in IGR as at 1999 but Lagos generating trillions in IGR now is not new creation. Lagos after 1999 tot other state in Nigeria what IGR, waste management, BRT is till date. What did any state learn from Anambra teach any state aside killing of Anambrans by it governor as perpetuated by the bigoted Peter Obi. CSTRR: Lagos was already a behemoth right from the colonial days. It was through lagos that Nigerian raw materials were transported to Europe. Anambra state is a recent creation.
Tinubu did nothing. The only thing he did was to entrench his strongmen, and perpetuate corruption and waste.
How can anybody be advocating for tinubu? Especially in this time when Nigerian revenues are at all time low.
If there is anybody more corrupt than atiku, that would be tinubu. |

He is probably the only governor to face that in the history of this country.

When we talk about people capable of managing potentials lunatics will be mentioning Peter Obi. While Tinubu was governor the president withheld allocation to the state for how many years ? Tinubu using his ingenuity was able to navigate Lagos out of that miserable situation without owing workers. It as never been hear in the history of Nigeria Lagos owe workers or they went on strike despite being the largest employer after the FG. How people de Anambra civil service. Dude no de compare who senior your god to your papa. Amadioha no get Tinubu sense talkless of fraudster like Peter Obi. Make I ko open him book for here jare. Dull head how much was Lagos generating in 1999. Less than a billion naira, you fools claim Peter Obi is the economist we need but how much is Lagos generating today n how much was Anambra generating under Peter Obi till date Anambra is yet to double it IGR from 1999 till date n you are here gloating over a collosus in failure. CSTRR: Your stupidity is congenital.
Anambra state does not earn 1/10 of Lagos, yet under Peter obi they had the Best education sector in the country, decent roads and most importantly no debt.
No debt. He left government without owing a single debt or and without owing salaries.
It was Peter obi that cut down the waste, gave the schools back to missionaries, invested in health care, and elevated anambra from decades of poor governance.
What did tinubu do with the humongous resources on Lagos.?
Instituted a chain of corruption that has continued till this day, with his men in different parts of the states assembly looting the state blind.
Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa, yet it does not have the infrastructure or human development index similar to any of the top 10 African states.
If Peter obi governs Lagos for 4 years, you will Stone tinubu.
The first thing he will do is to retire all those agberoes and touts looting the State blind and preventing resources from getting to the masses. |

Peter obi a global nuisance and criminal that built malls in Abuja n PH with Anambra state fund while he was the governor. Before you epistle of having money to build such please tell us how many mall did he built before n after his terms as governor not when he looted Anambra beyond death. Just imagine if this kind of project was undertaken by Obiano, Okorocha, Fashola Osinbajo, Buhari or Tinubu etc CSTRR: Peter obi already spoke of this.
The shares are not his. He invested it on behalf of the State. He is a rabid capitalist. He saw an opportunity and he invested for his state.
The revenues goes to the state.
And Obiano has not come out to refute it even though they are now enemies. |

If any soul chose Anambra judging from the development of Lagos Tinubu manged n Anambra Peter Obi managed we that soul is definitely doomed like you. Peter Obi compared to Lagos many of your Igbos are more completely foolish I sweet to God. CSTRR: Even Moses asked the Children of Isreal, choose you this day , blessing or curses.
So everything in life is a choice. Even suffering is a choice.
If tinubu stands a better chance than Peter Obi with the current state of Nigeria, then Nigerians are saying they have not suffered enough. |

Judging from 1999 till date which state economy as been beta managed btw TINUBU LAGOS VS PETER OBI ANAMBRA? How many times over as Lagos multiple it IGR n when will Anambra accomplish that ? mekaboy: Use your senses for once. Peter obi is a businessman and not a politician. He knows how to grow money(economy). He was not even liked as a governor. Many ordinary people benefited from contract under peter obi, but the profit was not much for the politicians. Politicians will like to make 100 million on a 1.5 million naira job.
He was not popular among politicians. Ordinary people submitted contracts under him and were called on the phone from the governors office. Ask carpenters and welders in Anambra.
Ask anybody from onitsha main market. Peter obi has direct phone number of all the major importers in building material line.
Even when peter obi wanted to give you a contract, he will call you to his office and tell you that the price you quoted is way too high. He will call 3 importers in the market in your presence. Put it on speaker, and ask the price of materials. Then he will ask you to go and adjust your price accordingly.
Most Anambra big contractors shunned him, because they could not do contracts with little profits.
So we are talking about competence vs popularity. Is he capable of transforming the nations economy? The answer is YES.
Will regular politicians support his candidacy? The answer is NO.
That is why i said tinubu will be more attractive to politicians. |

I will shun tribalism let Igbos start with calling out Ngige that canceled salary to all intern in Nigeria that is more evil than lacking compassion. Tcwork: Oga since we have been doing this yoruba igbo thing how has it helped Nigeria. It's time we all fight the evil together. I have traveled to all parts of the country. We all suffer from bad governance. But our leaders continue to thrive because of people like you. Our leaders know that as long as we have tribalist, they would continue to divide and rule. I beg you to have a change of heart for the sake of your children, born or unborn. Don't let your actions become an everlasting curse on your generation. Shun tribalism and stand on the path of honour. I plead with you to repent this day. Never take side with evil. There is nothing like Yoruba evil or igbo evil. What's wrong is wrong. |

Point n kill governor undertake ordinary ground breaking some jews de vex. Some went as far as saying it is a wasteful project. Probably cos it type is yet to be accomplished in Alaigbo. Those complaining about this project celebrate road project by Ugwuayi Ikpeazu etc. Terrible roads that every soul should be ashamed of, road ordinary rain of 3 secs destroy e.g the Milken road. Risingblue008: Can u afford to pay the health workers? Not just opening or launching whtever whatever Cos d ones wey dey onboard,,,how far? Seniorwriter: Always in the news for gratification ....paparazy ladgidi governor that didn't know who gave the order for military presence in Lekki....
Lagos actually needs a power paradigm shift....
@Seniorwriter nairalee: Good move Bad governor Imposed on the citizens Godfather power seguno2: If the (non) completion of the light rail is an indicator, what should traffic jam sufferhead Lagosians expect from this groundbreaking news seguno2: How will they be motivated to put in their best, if they know that other workers (governor and lawmakers) of the same Lagos state government, are getting a much larger total package for doing very little Masterito: Unless completed, I am not celebrating it. samwash: A topical Nigerian wants to brake records, The Lagos government has to complete this project within a space of shot time infact 5yrs will be too long. Not just braking grounds, we need adquate maintenance policy on ground too. This will create direct & indirect employment for the pple of Nigeria. prophetfire: . Just like that many of them that Okorocha built in his imo state. General hospital in every local government. Beautiful imposing structures without a single equipment and staff in any of them. Bushes have taken over many and they are now the hideout of miscreants. I think they build all these structures to get their cut from the contractors. After that, on your own. I wonder how much cut Tinubu get from this one. shiwex: To build is not the problem..... but to maintain.. omohayek: Thank you, I couldn't have put it better myself! Nigerians are far too easily impressed by big and shiny structures, at the cost of less flashy things that would make a much bigger difference for the better, so the politicians oblige by aiming for size at the expense of utility. Nobody would be clapping for Sanwo-Olu if he quietly opened a dozen smaller primary-care clinics and set up water-filtration facilities across the LGAs, so he simply won't bother. COMPAQ: Exactly. The building is actually the easy part. The hard part is equipping it properly with both quality staff and hospital equipment and then ensuring it runs effectively, efficiently and sustainably. seguno2: May we have more people like you in our country, who are logically thoughtful of everything. Bravo BigBashiru: Biggest by building size not biggest by employee commitment and professionalism towards patients... so the result will still be the same - doctors will divert patients to their own hospitals, nurses come to work late and expect fat pay etc. anyone that challenges status quo is fired.
Big building no be achievement - its just an edifice. omonnakoda: unnecessary grandiosity.
Big is not better in healthcare.
Smaller hospitals across all LGAs seems more sensible to me.
With the traffic situation in Lagos healthcare facilities need to be spread out
What is more important is the knowledge and training of the practitioners not the size of the Hospital
Let us take a good look at Cuba that has one of the best health services in the world with very little money
In Nigeria the among the leading killers of children are malaria and diarrhoeal diseases. These are largely PREVENTABLE with interventions like providing clean water/good food and sanitation rather than grand hospitals onuman: It’s not how large, but how efficient. jaxxy: Childrens hospital only??
