I intend venturing into delivery business but the cost of fuel and how it affects price can be discouraging.

Those using electric bike for both delivery and non delivery how can you compare it to fuel motorbike.

LiteratureABIKE | The Story Of The Death That Visit Her Children by pride4legacy(op): 9:12pm On Feb 22, 2025
ABIKE

Abike was loved, and raised in a homely way by her parents. She had also dreamt of being a good mother to her children just as her mother was to her. A reality that seems far away.
Abike was beautiful like the goddesses of old.

Her husband had plucked her very early in her prime as he could not risk losing her to other suitors.
When the sun sets, and the peace of the river returns after being troubled by little children. Abike will sit beside the river singing broken melodies of a sad song.

She is pregnant again for the sixth time. Her prime was leaving her but beauty like hers will be eternal. Death visits Abike's children on the eight day after delivery. Which leaves her in deep sorrow and misery.
The river consoles her with a gentle breeze whenever she visits to soothe the pain of a mother with a soon to be dead child.
This will be her last chance as her in-laws are already making plans to bring another wife for her husband. The one that will bear a child that will stay.

But, Abike has sworn with everything she holds dear that she will ensure this child stays. "Whatever death that will come for my child will have to take me first"
She told her husband as he consoles her in her misery.
Abike gave birth and never stopped watching her child. On the eighth day after giving birth, she held tight to her child, she didn't blink or slept off. At the dead end of the night, death came to take her child but Abike was wide awake.

She saw the shadow of death but covered her child and screamed on the gods and deities of her fathers to save her child and instead let the death take her.
Abike and her child survived the eighth night, the ninth, tenth and she continued watching her until she was 4 years old before letting go of her grip as she was convinced she has defeated the death that comes for her.
The trees by the river once whispered to her and said "Abike don't stop watching your child" but Abike couldn't interpret the Whispers of The Trees.

On the day it happened, Abike was singing while making food for her family. She has taken in again and is happy because she was convinced she has defeated the death of her unborn children.
The silence was unusual, it was as if the spirits of Alake mountains were passing. Abike stopped hearing the giggle of her child playing outside. Fear gripped her and she ran outside.

There she was, her beloved precious daughter, in a pool of her own blood matcheted like a sacrifice for Isaleko. He was still breathing heavily with his blood shot eye holding the matchete. Then he told her "you shouldn't have stopped looking"
It was not Agemo, nor the death spirits of Olu mountains that kills her children. It was her husband the one that consoles her every night. He killed Abike's child when Abike stopped looking.

[b]A DEBT TO EVIL/b]

I had barely entered the village when a large crowd welcomed me.
Never in over 40 decades have we seen a hunter come home with the head of a lion. When history remembers me, it will say at some point, a god once lived among men.

I held on to the Ishi Agu (Lion's Head) with pride. The king will later confer me with the title of Ogbu Agu (Lion Slayer).
I am the priceless jewel of the kingdom. The maidens that turned me down now take turns to grace my bed allowing me to pass through the night in their savory temples.

I have always wanted to see Nneka's innocence, what is beneath those waist girdles and wrappers. She will not say no to the Ogbu Agu (The Lion Slayer) and there she was just like I imagined her. she's mine to hold and savor for the night.
They offer to me now before they offer to the gods, an influence that will later see me equal the kings gone. The maidens also pray to the gods for me to choose them as wives.
I had adorned the entrance of my house with my Ishi Agu, a constant reminder of the fame and doom that lies ahead.

I felt the presence of someone. It was Agbarakwe the blind seer. Who only believes what he sees in his blind world.
His presence is obviously of no good. "A clean hand owes evil no debt, so I ask you Idika, what is the half-winged vulture doing on your roof? '' he asked me. I had not even noticed the half-winged vulture. No this means evil is coming and I can feel it.
Evil will come for its debt, but I must be conferred with Ogbu Agu title before it comes. I need to hurry and get the ceremony on.

Tomorrow is the big day. I have dressed in my Ishi Agu regalia with my Dane gun and made to leave my house with the Lion's Head.
I turned and there he was staring at me still holding the knife I stabbed him with soaked in blood. I immediately shot him twice with my Dane gun hoping to finish it finally, but it was as if I blew gun smokes at him.

Ozo had fought ferociously with the Lion that night in the forest before he killed it. He was gravely wounded and needed me to help him home, but I stabbed him dead and claimed his glory.
"You can't kill who death has touched Idika, you owe evil a debt and it has come for it," he said.
I surely know at this moment that tomorrow will start without me. I pray when history remembers me it will remember only the glory and not my doom. I didn't kill the Lion, Ozo did.

The Youtube Visuals for my poem DAMAGED CHILD is out. Please watch and tell me what you think.

DAMAGED CHILD

Never heard a lullaby
Never played in the moonlight
Never danced in the rain.
Never heard a folktale.
All you have known is the street life
and the chain of abuse and struggle.
Father ran before mummy could wake up.
Mummy ran before the Doctor could sign off.
The Orphanage keeper would creep in every night. But it is not to read you a story.

You were a slave for his pedophilic depraved soul. The Reverend would not believe you. That's why you hate the church.
You hid the codes in the lyrics of your song because you are too afraid to open up. Even if you will fool this audience screaming your name. You won't fool me, too, for I know what hides beneath.

Your lover thinks you are a nymphomaniac, but you are not. You are only but a damaged child.
I see you and I see the scars that remain.
Because I am also as you are, a damaged child.

Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie Jnr Pope and four others were working on before they died in a boat mishap on April 10, says her Production Manager told her that on the day of the incident, actor Junior Pope was offered a life jacket to wear before they boarded the boat but that he rejected it stating that it was dirty.

In a video she shared on Instagram today, April 13, Adanma said;

‘’Ogolo is my PM. I gave him money to buy things that were needed. because I don't do all that myself. I give money to my Production Manager, he handles everything from bringing out artists, transportation, feeding….he does all that.

He said he even told late Friday to give Junior Pope and Junior Pope said it was dirty so he didn't take it. These people with life jackets survived.''
