Career / Re: CAPM/PMP Certification Exams by primzi: 11:13am On Aug 31, 2016
Hi, as some of us can see or have heard, PMP/CAPM is becoming a huge deal in the world and being certified is very important. Most of the threads on this issue have become old so I wanted to start a new one. Please is there anyone interested in sharing information or pdf copies of certain materials online?

For example I am looking for Rita Mulcahy's book on CAPM exam prep. Thanks.

PS: Also if you would like pdf copies of the PMBOK 5th Edition (latest) which is the only book you would ever need and should only use to study for both PMP/CAPM, you can drop your email. I also have Rita Mulcahy's PMP exam prep book (most used/popular book for the exam preparation part) and an extra PMP Exam practice test and study guide by another popular author. Send to others that ask you for it in return. Share knowledge and help one another. Thanks.

Thanks for the favour.

Please send to jydoskie@gmail.com.

Also, is it worth studying the Headfirst PM too?

Education / Re: Secondary Student Gamblers Clash In Ibadan by primzi: 11:32am On Oct 19, 2012
UP SCHOOL - UP SWANSTON HOUSE. Brings memories flooding back. Cant but remember the war between GCI and Ibadan boys high school (maybe 91 or 92).
femozy0311: Govty Boys, that is in them. They will never succumbed to any form of a ride from anybody. it's just unfortunately that great schools like GCI is now breeding bad products, though this is common among secondary schools from generation to generation. The fact remain that as long as the school, i.e.. Government College Ibadan, continue to be the one hosting Apata community high school, there will always be clashes between them. This is not the first time and I don't think it will be the last. Just because of claim for supremacy among them.
I could remember a scenario where some students of Apata community high school was walking while we are on the assembly ground reciting school song and national anthem, many years ago (23years), the act of those students cost
the whole of their school a serious beating and they were chased out of their school premises. And many of such clashes occurred that I witnessed..
That is GCI I used to know
Romance / Re: The Best Relationship Advice You Ever Received? by primzi: 4:41pm On Jul 13, 2012
1. Love is a choice! You choose to love to stay in love. The feeling wears out time and again, thats when your choice saves the day.

2. Love is a verb, not a noun. Its what you do, not what you confess, if your actions doesnt "prove it", cry then theres something badly wrong.

3. Time and again, you'd meet babes finer, smarter, more intelligent, more charming, sweeter etc - Dont follow your eyes or your feelings, make your choice and stay in love.

Politics / Re: Police Accuse Oshiomhole Of Lying About Assasination Attempt by primzi: 3:22pm On Jun 30, 2012
It stated however that “the brave security details attached to the governor, supported by an additional contingent of regular policemen deployed to maintain law and order, rose to the occasion. They were able to shield the governor, key government functionaries and ACN leaders. But several official vehicles including Toyota Land cruisers, Hilux pick up van and Toyota Corrola Saloon car were either badly damaged or riddled with bullets"

3 questions:

a. is there proof that there were cars riddled with bullets?
b. if yes, did the students riddle the vehicles with bullets?
c. Since when did the police force earn so much credibility that nailanders hack Oshiomole on the basis of their words?

Politics / Re: Eight Die As High Tension Cable Lands On Traders In Ibadan by primzi: 7:07pm On Jun 25, 2012
Really its very unfortunate. Poverty mentality and disregard for anything short of money has robbed the populace of their ability to think straight.
Its tragic honestly.
I was at the Aleshinloye market (very big and popular market where even elites shop and own shops) and was dumbfounded when i saw that high tension cables were right above the market, yet many thousands of people own shops there and transact business daily, i really think the government should be sued for approving a market in a place like that.

Family / Re: Men,would You Allow Your Wives Have Their Own Capital Investments? by primzi: 3:23pm On Jun 08, 2012
freshmoney:

Why would you want to buy a house for your wife when you have one already? That to me is sheer and gross bunkum. Buying cars and other things is quite consequential.
For a woman to buy a landed property without her husband consent is synonymous to animosity and total disrespect. She is no different from a recusant that violates the rules of marriage; and she must be dealt with! Women of nowadays want to be preponderant over their male counterparts. Nonsense!

Like i said Freshmoney, it would be to make passive income and to own assets.

I disagree totally with a woman not carrying her husband along on such issues. Its improper and inappropriate and it sure speaks volumes as it could breed distrust and force me to "my own stuff" a lot more but i would not strike my wife for any reason.

So if its "sheer gross bunkum" to you, it aint to me.

Every one loves a sense of worth and i believe so does every woman.
Family / Re: Men,would You Allow Your Wives Have Their Own Capital Investments? by primzi: 2:50pm On Jun 08, 2012
Maybe there's more to it than you were told but its pure insecurity to preclude your wife from owning her own house. Wisdom demands that I even build my wife a house(s) and have her earn passive income from it abi?
I think its about how the couple fuse and all that.

My wife is a great woman and i have bought cars and more in her name.
If she wants to leave me, she can go with those things, i go still dey kampe.
If i buy or build her a house, i buy or build the next in my name; the thing no hard nah!

I think men should feel good doing great things for their wives.

Like i said before, my wife is a great woman!

Na wa o! what is wrong with you folks? everybody is saying the same thing in principle. we need to overhaul our system, we need to deal with pollution problems, we need a government that has capacity to rule and direct us! so whats the frigging arguement about? who can diapute these needs? none of us!

Beaf is not the most appreciated guy on NL, far from it i am certain but to dispute that we dont need our minds renewed in Naija is an error.

Things can be better done, a little improvement every now and then would take us gradually out of our insanity.

Yes, the governent has a critical role to play; they gotta set the standards and enforce them but my opinion is simple;
PEOPLE DO THINGS THE WAY THEIR MINDS APPROVES AS RIGHT, IF YOU HAVE A BETTER IDEA OF HOW THINGS SHOULD BE DONE LETS SHOW THEM. CHANGE STARTS FROM SOMEWHERE.

Meanwhile, i believe you guys need to rest.

This is a absolute crap and totally unacceptable. You discover fraud and leave those who perpetrated the fraud untouched? Are the folks who make up this task force so dumb and silly?
We have heard your claim that over 70,000 accounts were opened - what we need to know is what you are doing about the criminals both in the pension offices and the banks too!
Politics / Re: Why Do Criminals Hold Political Postions In Nigeria by primzi: 11:17am On Apr 19, 2012
In every human beign is the capacity and desire to be lax and indulgent, the very nature of man is to do evil, hence in his lax and indulged state, man would churn out evil like an ice cream machine would.

The essence of leadership is to direct and focus the energy of man on doing good and to demand that he does good.

When leadership fails and focusing and demanding good from the populace, then the nature of man (evil doing) rules the entire land.

Why would leadership fail at focusing and demanding good from people? Leadership cannot give what they dont have.

Why do the people not strive to do good inspite of corrupt leadership? Because man is wired to do what he sees "monkey see, monkey do"

One_Naira: Because the people are criminals. What we condemn the Nigerian politicians for doing, the ordinary Nigerians will conduct the same act if giving the same position. We can verify such by looking at the school industry in Nigeria...corruption. banking industry...corruption. agriculture industry....corruption. Ordinary Nigerian transition...corruption. A nation wealth is relevant to the indigenous in it and Nigeria and Nigerians are interwoven correctly.
Politics / Re: Why Do Criminals Hold Political Postions In Nigeria by primzi: 11:07am On Apr 19, 2012
Question - Why do criminals hold political positions in Nigeria?

Answer - Because the entire political structure is crime infested and for anyone to fit into it he/she must be wholistically criminalized. I mean criminal on the inside, criminal on the outside, criminal inside out irrespective of professed religious or cultural status or affiliation.

Mind you, only likes attract!

Career / Re: Self-Employment vs Oil Company Job: Which is Better? by primzi: 3:43am On Apr 06, 2012
Lemme quickly paint a picture with three points.

a. You need exposure, leverage and information to thrive as an enterpreneur - this is the downfall of many cos they swing into self employment and wallow at the same level cos they lack these. personal experience and observation)

b. You have to decide what you want to pursue in self employment - is it a vision or a dream as against 'wetin to chop and pepper' those who go for the latter do better in the short run and many cases now in the long run as the 'vision' pursuers take many things for granted about money and get stuck. (personal experience and observation)

c. You need to mind the terrain and map out a plan. Ours in Naija is one in which business is largely about making ends meet and not delivering services or making a difference. Whats your plans B and C? if you dont have influential parents, family who can bail you out in business - not good at all.

Have you observed that most wealthy and influential people emerge in their mid thirties to early forties? Babe! its in the plan and the energy with which you pursue it based on the exposure and leverage within your reach juxtaposed with your doggedness and determination not to remain on the floor WHEN (not if) you fall. Cheers!

Few things i have learnt in life include the truth that negotiating or discussing with a person who is not seeing things from your perspective is like beating a dead horse.

In my opinion, Sanusi Lamido, Okonjo Iweala, President Jonathan and all supporters of the subsidy removal should be given two sheets of paper with the question
"Budget of a family of 4 on N100k monthly income" They should write on the first page based on N65 petrol price and on the other page at N140 petrol price.

I believe this task will cudge their minds to see what people re saying but with what they earn, steal and make through business, they vcant see what is going on.

Its like asking you to write a budget of N90m for your feeding in a monnth, wont you go bunkers?
Politics / Re: Fg Orders Investigation Into Fuel Cabal Activities by primzi: 2:16pm On Jan 11, 2012
Its obvious the president and his entire cabinet is confused. Even if Goodluck tries to clean up the oil industry mess without minding the resultant effect on his political career, he CAN NOT. In his best interest, i think he should put Buhari as the head of NNPC. That way the oil industry will be cleaned up and heads ( including Goodluck's) will definitely roll. But that is about the logical solution i see to this entire insanity. Or do you think someone else can do it better?
