it is more reasonable to buy a car with minor accident and low mileage than buy a car with over 250k mileage in many cases rolled back by wicked people to as low as 50k. (They tell you its non accident) but what about the mysterious disspaearance of over 200k mileage originally recorded by the car. Be Wise!

GEJ himself declined to sign the budget & not that he 'could not' as you so erroneously put it. it was a personal decision. if he 'could not' sign it, the NASS won't have sent the budget to the presidency for assent, they would have waited till YarAdua returned & FEC meetings would not have been held.

in the 'controversial' absence of the president, the vice president is automatically empowered to act as contained in section 146(1) of the Nigerian constitution & this is independent of the provisions of section 145 of the same constitution.

so that GEJ backed down from doing somethings during the period was more of a personal decision & is the same way Osibanjo would refrain from carrying out some actions because he might not want to rock the boat too much.

now let's stretch this your twisted logic a bit-

fact 1- PMB went on a 10 day vacation.

fact 2- he was to resume 6/2/17.

this would mean that his vacation started 27/1/17. but we all know he left the country between 19-21/1/17.

so by your reasoning, between 19/21-26/1/17, Nigeria was without a president? see the constitution on this matter abhors a vacuum regardless of the circumstances.

even an 'official' acting president will be sensitive to some issues & would not want to rock the boat until he becomes a substantive president or why do you think Osibanjo gave the 'hale & hearty' PMB an update? if the powers of the acting president were so 'total', why give an update to PMB?

you obviously have no knowledge of how an administrative system works, hence you don't reason logically.

if you work (which I doubt) in a structured environment & your head of unit is away for some undisclosed reason, would you say you won't obey the next person in the chain of command? or would every one in the company stop work because oga is not around?

why do people still throw around the wrong notion about YarAdua having to notify the NASS?

the problem with YarAdua was not about notification, it was that the true state of his health was shrouded in secrecy which created a situation of if he should be declared incapacitated & the VP sworn in as president.

& that's the same situation we find ourselves today. if PMB is permanently incapacitated, it is senseless for the VP to 'act' indefinitely simply because PMB stated so in a letter. the issue is that would PMB be able to hold office as president? if not, the VP should be sworn in as substantive president.

PMB notifying the NASS of his vacation/sick leave is grossly irrelevant if he is unable to continue in office.

the true state of health of PMB needs to be revealed so that appropriate action can be taken without wasting time on conspiracies...
