Hello Nairalanders,

I was compelled to write this article after reading several comments on social media about MMM.

I usually think it was a difficult thing to brainwash people, but I just discovered that its very easy especially when money is involved. It is alarming to see even graduates can't even think with their brains.

I want to state categorically, no matter any English used to quote the MMM scheme, be it Donation platform, helping forum platform, Investment platform, whatever it is called, MMM is a ponzi scheme.
I also want to state categorically, putting banners or disclaimers like B&H or White London cigarette, or any other cigarette brand that "Smokers are liable to die young" does not stop people from smoking, hence putting "Use only spare money" on MMM website will not stop people from using their live savings or borrowing for the scheme. Using this as a justification to promote the scheme is therefore null and void.

MMM did not just penetrate Nigeira without having foot soldiers. They definitely have done their homework in connivance with Nigerians as they would have done in other countries.

Why?

In my humble opinion, its a nasty lie and big deceit that MMM does not have accounts hence your money can never be stolen by MMM.
Why is this? There is no way the inflow of cash into the scheme will be the same as the out flow. There must be a deficit or an overage. This brings the need for accounts where excess mavros will be mopped into in case of an overage. I understand there are other bonuses such can be channeled into but how can one sincerely track that. This is where the Nigerian foot soldiers come in. In the case of deficits, we see a crash, a pause, or delay in matching participants.

MMM's owner being an ex convicted fraudster can recruit Nigeiran foot soldiers from the Dark web. These are websites you don't see on search engines and usually require softwares and configurations to access. This is were you find hackers, gun runners, drugs cartel, big time fraudsters, child porn syndicates, gamblers, whistleblowers etc. Some Nigerians are members of some of this groups and cartels on the dark web hence recruitment of foot soldiers to open proxy accounts to assist in the fraud is never a problem.

Take a look at this scenario;

If i am an Admin in MMM, all i need to do is match a prospective helper to my foot soldier whose profile is controlled by me the admin. You as a participant dont even know if the profile matched to you as provided help before in the past or not. You simply believe whatever you see as put by the admin on such profiles.

It is very possible that MMM is already ripping and skinning participants alive without them knowing. Foot soldiers accounts who have never provided help can be matched with ignorant helpers. If this is done, money is being mopped out of the system gradually till the system fails. That is a possible scenario.

Secondly, in my Opinion MMM is being watched and silently investigated by international intelligence agencies just like they do to drug cartels, child porn syndicates, Credit card fraudsters. Unlike EFCC and DSS in Nigeria, where arrests are made before investigations, agencies like the FBI will take their time, gather evidence and strike to nail the coffin once and forall. MMM crash may not even be a Nigeria thing, it is going to be global.

No sane government, i repeat no sane government will watch her citizens idle away cycling money in a ponzi scheme which have zero benefits to the economy and will crash and hurt her citizens someday. Recycling money within a clan of greedy participants, without no real capital investments is killing an Economy rather than helping it.

Telling John to pay James, while he waits for minimum of 2 weeks for Peter to pay him too with 30% profit or Reward as being touted by MMM promoters and on and on like that, will definitely implode right on your face. The money goes within participants and not into any form of capital investments to yield profit. Excess pledged mavros definitely ends up somewhere.

Where is that?

If MMM wants to close shop and bolt off with money today, all that is needed is to match targeted helpers (probably the ones with larger amounts) with accounts of foot soldiers to provide help to. Ideally you have no business with whoever you provided help to once confirmed, so you can't really hold anyone responsible, should the website fail to open tomorrow.

In conclusion, MMM WILL crash either by self implosion or by international/local intelligence agencies intervention and many will loose money. Particularly the very greeedy ones and the newbies.

Reccession is not an excuse to be greedy, fact remains, Recession or Not, People will still participate in ponzi schemes for quick riches!

Thanks and God bless

Let me make this clear. I don't care the number if mentions of hate, because i habe noticed thr violent, bitter aggressive nature of participants when anyone speaks about MMM, i will simply ignore. This is a simple warning to prospective greedy participants.

Secondly i habe noticed people with zero knowledge of IT, keep making and giving excuses for MMM. Some claiming MMM is making money from traffic, when they really dont know how money is actually being made from traffic. I read some crap about google paying because of testimonials on youtube, also from traffic and i couldn't laugh.

Some have also claimed MMM can not blocked by any government and i couldn't help but laugh again.

A typical example is UAE blocking Nairaland sometime ago because of alleged articles against islam which seun had to intervene to have that reversed. People in UAE actually had to use VPN and and Proxy servers to access Nairaland for that short period. Will you want to do business with your real accounts over VPNs and Proxy servers in reality?
Another example is China blocking Facebook for privacy reasons. I wonder if FB can be blocked in China, is MMM bigger than FB? People in China also have to use VPNs to access FB, which make their accounts highly vulnerable.
Google and YouTube is also blocked in China. So the assertions that a website can't be blocked by any government is ab highly ignorant one.
iCloud which was supposedly highly secured, was hacked and nude celebraties pictures were compromised.
If you have Zero knowledge about IT, its time to stop making insane assertions to promote your greedy scheme.

Judgement day is closer than people think!

That is a well taught resounding warning to the greedy fokes . there is no free money anywhere in the world and this type of ponzi will not be the first of it kind, trust me we have seen this before and many will perish financially on this and may never recover from the serious debt.
Only that they will still blame their woo on Buhari, i just pity that man.

But why would someone want to die over another man's headache? I didn't even read the nonsense you posted up there but i feel disappointed for you for dedicating such a huge time to type the rubbish instead of investing that time to help the useless government grow out of recession it's currently into. I must say you are a very useless piece of thrash.

You were really compelled, appreciate your concern..............................Its very obvious and very clear that you are very jealous that Nigerians are helping themselves. You should keep your opinion to yourself. Nigerians who are patronizing the scheme understand the risks and wants to elevate themselves from poverty and fund a lot of projects in their lives and since you are very comfortable and well to do then don't discourage others who want to help themselves because you will always be tagged "Enemy of Progress". Nobody has the right, whether the FG or who so ever to tell a Nigerian on how to use, spend or invest their money that will benefit them. Its not anybody's business and for your information there are billions of all types of schemes out there. MMM still dey learn. I blame the Nigerian Government for letting her people getting swindled and letting so much money drain out of the country. Be prepared for sob stories in a few months months time...

"HELP !! MMM Fell with All My Savings, My Children Have No Food"

It will implode. Like every other fraud/Pyramid scheme. Another thing worth mentioning is that at 30% Monthly return, a person should have recovered all his money at about three (3) months - leaving only 10%.

This means that the scheme became a fraud based money generating entity after the first three months, when the starters recovered all their "investments". All who have been there for more than three months are just unfairly taking money off new entrants, whose compensation is dependent on other people joining.

At a point, the revenue collected from new entrants will not be enough to pay 30% to the millions at the top and bottom of the pyramid. That's when the architects of the scheme will close it and move to their next victims. Probably to another sleepy African country.
