When it is comes to the federal universities in the south east region,Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka is probably the youngest one.All zikites should know that the university has three campuses 1.The main campus (the one in Awka) 2. Agulu campus(for pharmacy,pharmaceutical science student) 3.Okofia campus(located in a serene environment in the very primitive part of Nnewi).Which was set up for all student of the faculty of medicine,students of the faculty of health science and technology and students of basic medical sciences. Faculty of health sciences and technology comprises of radiography,nursing science,medical laboratory science and medical rehabilitation department. The faculty of basic medical science comprises of anatomy and physiology department.  So if you studied medical laboratory science in the university,what are you suppose to be called? ?? Of course,a medical scientist  .Medical students are being taken to their respective campuses upon their completion of year one in university.Being a 100 level in unizik is really stressful relating it to the environment or rather being a newbie   Many of them in that institution(both lecturers,sweet mouth advertisers,drivers,students too etc)are going to drain your money and squeeze it into their tight purses or rather pockets .,Buy this,buy that,help yourself,don't get carryover,my success story and this and that .I am a living testimony.Anyways,that is by the way   Are you an okofia student and you do not know the happenings in your school.There is a blog site already set up that will bring every news happening around the unizik campus(okofia) to ur doorstep.Stay updated with trending gists,news only at www.oaklandgist.com/

Hi,my fellow Nigerians.The issue of having a perfect skin has been a thing of great concern.You want that flawless skin which does not fear the mirror and every makeup sets well on it.Pls,do read on.  Many people go for cosmetic surgery.In this surgery,it involves injections like the popular botox injection to avoid a wrinkled skin/anti-aging/.But what they do not know is that you can cheat nature.The hyaline cartilage are replaced by the fibrous cartilage which are the earliest signs of ageing.But I do believe there are activities that can make your skin look rejuvenated,youthful and beautiful. 1.Practice activities like jogging,yoga etc.- 2. Get the early morning sunshine- There is myth that exposing yourself regularly to the sun rays can cause damage to your skin/skin burn/ or maybe hasten the ageing process.Well,that is true but you can do yourself good by exposing the areas that do not ageing faster/like your hands and legs/. 3. Visits spas and do recreational activities 4. Eat honey- Honey is very good substance.If you want to understand what I am talking about,Just after a sound sleep,eat a raw honey on an empty stomach,you would never have digestion issues.Eating it regularly can make your skin rich and supple.Eat coconut.Drink the water.Pour the water on your skin.Just go natural and your skin will glow. 5.Avoid depression 6.Look into the mirror and tell yourself that you are wonderfully made.Let the inner beauty radiates so that the outer beauty can shine. 7.Avoid creams that contain hydroquinone and maybe parabens. 8.Surround yourself with positive people and just do things that make you happy,that probably increase your life span.Thanks for reading

Writing is talent.Whoever that does not believe cannot change the impact the writing of renowned authors have made to the world today. I do not like football that much but I LOVE literature.I love writing .That does not mean I am not a normal person.We all have our uniqueness.Remember the famous quote that states,"that one's man's meat is another man's poison" just justifies everything.1.Literature is fun- It is quite obvious that literature blogs are not popular.Some other niches like health,fashion,lifestyle,trending news are more popular.There are many good books out there to read.For me,I love all Dan brown's novel,loved 'the concubine' by Elechi Amadi', the unconcious truth and tons of other novel but that is not to say that there are no boring,distasteful,totally appalling novels,short stories and plays.But the good news is that the number of such writers are just negliglible or maybe I have not read much of such books that would kill my keen interest on books .That is why a platform was set to award people who have distinguished themselves in the literary world.2.Literature will never die or rather Writing will never die  : Thanks to different ways books are produced nowadays or rather the internet.You don't have money to buy that your favorite book,you can just type the name on the search bar and other relevant information and the book will appear before you .Just like some Music,Many literature write-up point out the ills of the society."There was a country,by Chinua Achebe pointed out the evils in the Nigerian society.So you see,that is an essential ingredient,so that a sane,responsible society can be restored. You too can write today,it does not have to be tomorrow.Literature is fun for me and I do not know about you. 1 Like 1 Share |
