LegendaryArnold: I totally agree with you except from the part where you said foreign commentators aren't bias....just listen to English commentary and see how they eulogize their average players. you are right but that's publicity and it's professional. As a matter of fact the British media hype one of the reasons English league is the most followed league in the world |

senbonzakurakageyoshi: Lol, I remember Nigeria's match against Greece at WC2010. For some reason, it was a Nigerian commentator on duty. So Nigeria concedes a free kick close to the their eighteen yard box and the commentator laments:
"I've been saying this. The Super Eagles should not concede free kicks close to their vital area". One would think he was talking about their crotch. What happened to "in dangerous areas" or "close to their goal post"? Anyway, the Greeks take the free kick and, what do you know, they score! Our dear commentator goes -
"You see..... They've scored us..... I said it..... "
I wanted to pass out. yep sounds very much like a Nigerian commentator. |

Money is waiting for them in the hotel. Just shaking my head oh my God are you for real? |

hifaif1: There was this match involving the Super Eagles. A Nigerian player was near the opponents' goal and was making a lot of turns so as to create enough space for an attempt at goal. The commentator lost his cool after about five seconds and yelled "Who is this one now? Shoot the ball!" haha, they always try to double up as coach...once Ahmed Musa misplaced a pass and he said "that's not the Ahmed Musa we know, he should have cross" |

Jarus: I don't listen to Nigerian commentators. As a matter of fact, I prefer foreign commentators for even Nigerian matches.
The way those guys (foreign commentators) draw facts and parallels with ease are amazing. Makes football watching interesting. mhmmm. To tell you the truth, i start watching the t.v an hour before kick off in epl matches cos i gain alot from the commentators' wealth of knowledge... gosh! those guys are amazing, they could tell a clubs entire history, they could mention every member of both teams...why can't we have that in Nigeria? |

ANTONINEUTRON: I don't care abt d man grammar.
.
.
but what made me angry to go off my gen b4 d match end is his sentiment when Moses goal was clear off by dat egyptian defender.
.
.
and he didn't knw d players name especially d egyptian players; it was only Salah and D Goal Keeper name dat he knew.
When Iheanacho was substituted with Umar; he first called Iheanacho 'Azubuike' he changed nd called Umar 'Azubuike'. For heaven on earth sake where him azubuike cme frm haha, he was probably referring to Azubuike Egweke of warri wolves...by the way he never really pronounced the Egyptian goalie's name properly. He kept calling him el shawaary |
