Story of my brother's wife. My brother literally don't associate with his friends anymore because of his wife. He can stay and don't talk to his family members too once you aren't talking to his wife. I have told my Mum already that I don't even need both of them in my life. We still talk normal but I have stopped seeing her as the angel I know. She is the reason I always support Yul Edochie. I always see her in May Edochie Edoreborn: This is outright rubbish..let me use myself as an example,,i married a woman that is very manipulative..She was very good outside but she gave me shege when we were alone..The problem started when she started visiting abuja frequently..She started comparing me with others to d extent that i saw numerous chat with men..i kept my cool because i loved her.. Meanwhile she was painting as a demon in front her family to d extent d ones in London would call dt they heard how av being calling them all sort of names..
To cut d whole story short,,d abuja lifestyles changed her n she started seeing other men..Pls,,men tolerate a lot in marriages..my only lucky charms why i didn't take laws into my hands was to relocate back to lag..What u don't see doesn't kill..story long sha.. inshort,,fear women... |

I hate seeing people bleach their skin. I personally can't do that. Most ladies around me has pigmentation around their eyes and I just look at them I laugh. The annoying part of it is seeing Guys bleach. That shit is really annoying Bendeco02: I Am yet to understand why there is high rise of skin bleaching between men and women in Nigeria.
Is it that they feel that they will look beautiful or handsome if they are fairer or what?
I always hear Nigerians say black is beautiful, but we stilll don't appreciate it on real life.
To see black slay queen now is scarce.
The worse is men that supposed to concentrate on their hustle now concentrates more on their skin color. |

Ogar I am talking about sense of responsible not financial responsibility. So rest idahme: A lady asked me what my red flag is and i said an irresponsible lady and she started laughing, you know hwy she laughed? She is like you who think a man will become responsible when he takes up the bills of another adult who is supposed to be responsible for herself as an adult so hearing something against what's her head made her burst into laughter of irresponsibility.
To you a man isn't responsible when he is responsible for himself and those he deems fit like family until he includes you the woman? This is why i loathe irresponsible woman because they are entitled to things that doesn't belong to them . I'm not responsible for any woman doesn't make me not responsible, we can be responsible for ourselves but never in my dictionary to be solely responsible for any lady without a commiserate symbiotic effort in the opposite direction.
This mindset is what unalive me because society makes them think they are useless if they can't carry the road of a woman |

OK I am done arguing. I wish you the best Love800: Partnership. Partners make decisions together but the weight of each partners affairs in creating of conclusions at the end of any matter or authority in having the final say differs. One has the upper hand!
Companionship(husband and wife). Are we companions or stakeholders? Marriage is an institution. We(father and mother) are administrators in it. Companionship na friendship stuff which does not hold any water!
Whether my children will be my companion in long-term or long-run, well i can't really say. But if you are looking with percentage or statistics, atleast 70-percent will be there with their father till death! |

Politics › Re: Why The Nigeria National Orientation Agency (NOA) Needs To Step Up Its Game by Princesslee: 9:07pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
Noted Thank you Can I share this in other platforms? heavenhills: Why The Nigeria National Orientation Agency (NOA) Needs to Step Up Its Game
By Kolade Akinyele Abel
As Nigerians, we all know how important it is to have a sense of national pride and unity. That's why the National Orientation Agency (NOA) was set up in the first place - to promote patriotism, national unity, and development.
However, I believe that NOA can do more to fulfill its purpose. Here are some ways I think the agency can step up its game:
Firstly, NOA should organize more essay competitions, debates, and quizzes in schools. This will help sensitize young Nigerians to issues relating to national development and encourage them to think critically about the country's challenges. I understand that NOA could have been organising these competitions but none of them is as popular and engaging as the competitions we used to know while growing. Television programs such as "Speak Out'" (a weekly inter-school debating completion usually televised on NTA stations), "Bournvita Brain Match" ( a weekly inter-school quiz competition usually televised on NTA stations) and several others can be recreated on our mainstream and downstream media with focus on promoting patriotism, national unity and nation development.
Permit me to shed light on this point. I remember while growing up as a secondary school student in Lagos, I was appointed by the Head of my school language department, Mrs. Aworetan, as the Chief Speaker of one of the debating competitions organised by Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA). My school scaled through the final stage of the competition which was televised on NTA Channel 10. That program made me a celebrity in my school and my neighborhood. Till date, I can still recall the topic of the final debating session because it remains relevant to me. I was to speak against the motion: "Continuous Environmental Sanitation Exercise is Not Responsible for Low Life Expectancy Rate." If not for the competition, I wouldn't have known that there was an agency in Lagos state called LASEPA. Apart from that, the research that my team did to win the competition exposed me to a lot about how we need to regularly keep our environment clean. Eventually, in 2014, with my continuous orientation and consciousness about the need to always keep my environment clean, I established a cleaning company based in Lagos, Nigeria. Now, can you see what that meaningful effort from the agency later yielded in me?
Secondly, the Nigerian social media space is filled with several irrelevant audio visual contents that are not in anyway useful for the development of the nation. Many of them expose our youths to pornography, cyber crime, prostitution and violence. NOA should take advantage of this gap to sponsor more media projects involving skits and playlets on key public orientation issues. This will help communicate important messages to the public in a fun and engaging way.
Thirdly, NOA needs to create social media platforms that will orientate the public about government activities, achievements, and plans for the future. In today's digital age, social media is a powerful tool for communication and engagement.
Also, the agency should create a web platform where citizens can access the social media contacts of their elected representatives, from local government councilors to the President. This will help promote transparency and accountability in government.
Lastly, I suggest that the Federal government and the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy should prioritize working hand in hand with NOA as a key project. With adequate attention and resources, the agency can achieve its goals and promote national development. So, let's hope NOA takes these suggestions on board and step up its game. Nigeria needs NOA now!
