If you have FBNH share, just hold it.
I don't think anyone can categorically tell you here if the money realized from the sale of those shares is going directly to the bank or to other entities.
The information out there is still not clear. Though to me, it appears as if the money will be going to the bank but what do I know.

The money is going to FBNH as part of the insider loan he gave to himself which was classified under NPL Under his watch/ new management. FBNH wrote off over 3 trillion NPL
And to remove his controlling power in the board of FBNH management
FBN is using the money to hit higher capitalisation far above what cbn demanded

No. To sell it out to any prefered buyer on the floor or cross deals and relinquish his grip on the bank and quash some other allegations as part of court order or so some yrs ago.

But the argument is whether it will go to FBN purse as a company or fellow shareholders.
To which I think it will definitely go to fellow shareholders and not FBN, cuz it's termed "share sale".

He/she could actually have both by making it 60/40 or 50/50.....

Otedola already envisaged this will happen, reason he was accumulating plenty to beat their 23% shareholding.....
He currently has over 26% shareholding ( I mean Otedola)...
So, even if he didn't pick their shares, he still have higher % than theirs... (Which I believed he will pick some of it maybe thru a proxy to further increase his holdings)...

Though it says block divestment, so it's possible there's a buyer or buyers on ground already..
