Many of these countries are not different from our own Liberia, seriea leone, Gambia.
Even isreal itself is not different from them.
Stop the huge funds and weapons going there and see isreal turn to a shithole trying to sort her bills and struggling to fight off external bodies
The occupied Palestine territories called the state of Israel is just a satellite state of the US. Infact it's the 51st state of the US.

Stop the funding and see them become a toy to be played with.

There is difference between the relationship between a man and his wife and relationship within the church.
Paul was addressing the later in vs 21.
And was the bible addressing the church too when it said "Men love your wife as Jesus loves the church in that same chapter?

Anyone who can't submit to their spouse is likely building a loveless home.

Submission here doesn't mean slavery or equality but being approachable, teachable and reachable.

How's the attached a bad thing for men to do in their marriage?

Firstly,my intention of replying ur earlier comment was to simply correct ur misrepresentation and misunderstanding of the 5:21 which U erroneously implied was referring to husbands submitting to wives!
It's not my job to interpret for U the meaning of submission!
Get a bible with clearer translations like 'the message' or 'amplified' to comprehend 5:21-33!
I misrepresentated what?

I just droped a bible reference, I added no opinion of mine. How come you are lying?

Is your home not a church or do you think houses built with bricks is what represent the church?

Ephesians 5:21 wasn't making reference to the wives and husbands....it was the next verse where the instructions were directed which is...‭Ephesians 5:22-26 NIV‬
[22] Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. [23] For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. [24] Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. [25] Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her [26] to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
Short question; If you claim husbands should not submit to their wives too, how do you expect husbands to listen or take advice from who they do not submit to?

Or what is your definition of submission?

Yea, we are already importing vehicles from them with some assembled here. I'm even using one of such imported Chinese vehicle.
The loan we have with them can't be offset once, some will take upto 20yrs sef, and we would have taken more sets of loan before then. You are right on doing same with western world, as it stands, in terms of trade, the disadvantage is just too much on our side, except we can probably export art and culture at very high price, or war broke out that leads to global scarcity of some major raw materials that Nigeria is having abundance of it, and most of our leaders got caught up with the war
Unfortunately, there are no finished product we have comparative advantage on when it comes to trading with China. What can we export as finished goods/products to them?
Car Talk › Re: Dealers Now Diversifying As Most Nigerians Can No Longer Afford Cars - Nicakelv by Procashtips(m): 8:54pm On Nov 25, 2024
OlujobaSamuel:
We are a net importer with China, We exports goods worth about $2bn, while importing goods worth about 20bn, the margin is too wide.
China is a major producer, while we just export raw material, so the comparative advantage isn't on our side. The raw material irrespective of the abundance can't be compared to someone adding extra value in way of converting it to general use through manufacturing.

Thanks for that, I never knew it was cancelled, that's why I was initially confused on using have or had.

The reason why such might have happened might be as a result of practicality, how would remittance be made considering the wide disparity in trade between the two countries.
Maybe an ECOWAS currency or AU currency might work for such arrangement
How do you think we're paying all the loans we take from them in respect to the huge constructions they're handling for us?

Through mineral resources, so there's no trade deficit mineral resources can't pay for and China is betteroff with it and don't even care about the extra value You're talking about, afterall we are even doing the same with the Western world

Abyway, it seems Nigerians are already importing vehicles from China.

OlujobaSamuel:
I get your argument, the swapped deal we have or had with them is more beneficial to them, China is not having a FX hedging with us, so what you are looking at as the cheaper option won't work, we ain't a major exporter to them.
Eg, if they buy goods worth 20k from us, and we buy goods worth 50k from them, how do they get their 30k fund since they won't be collecting our naira to keep as FX reserve, that's where the major currencies come in.
I wished someone deep into FX economics can shed more light on it.
Whatever swapped deal that is in place, will only reduce a little the FX crisis we have, not take it away
Let me ask you, how has Nigeria as a government been dealing with China in all their partnerships, loans and infrastructural development programmes?

China has always been interested in our mineral resources, so the issue of how they'll get their 30k back would have been very easy. They can always get it via raw mineral resources we have in abundance.

Anyways, I just discovered that the deal was cancelled and no longer active.

Many people did not even know that Russia actually gave the Jews land for free, which was part of the 1938 Khabarovsk territory structure. You will never see any western media alluding to this fact. They're only interested in projecting the Jewish state as the victim all the time even when they're on the wrong side as we are currently witnessing in the Gaza globally televised genocide.
Even parts of Uganda was proposed for them too, thank God they didn't accept the offer. Land grabbing demons

I also mentioned something similar in my initial post.
According to the article, the yuan is pegged to the dollar, sort of a fixed FX system, meaning 1dollar might be equivalent to 100yuan for a particular period of time, China won't store our fund as a means of value as there is no country that is interested in the naira, so to carry out any deal with us, the dollar equivalent will be considered, even though we are paying in Yuan.

It's just a sort of currency hedging. It will just minimize risk exposure from fluctuation, it doesn't take away the risk.
You actually didn't read the article properly, the Yuan was pegged to the USD until 2005, right now, it's pegged to multiple instruments and currencies, which is why importing from China should be better off compared to other countries.

Kindly read again, the above was written there as one of the options.

Which brings me back to the questions, shouldn't car dealers face East for importation of vehicles?

Is this what you call Mach 23? Did you watch the footage of Oreshnik both in flight and during landing stage. That landing stage is the most scary part of it as if it teleported from Russia into Ukraine instantly that was what I was expecting to see o not this usual ballistic missile flight we have been used to.
Seems you've too much idle time in your hands .

The Americans we know wouldn't let us hear word with their propoganda media house if they truly possess Mach 8 speed, not to talk of Mach 23 speed.

Let me try to explain what I mean, you suggested the Yuan for Naira.
Just like Euro and Pounds (some other FX kept by CBN), the dollar has an impact of the naira equivalent of the currencies, so for every time the dollar value increases against the naira, so also will the euro, pounds or yuan or any other currency increase.
Naira to Yuan deal basically means trading directly by paying yuan equivalent, instead of paying dollar to the supplier while the supplier converts the dollar to his own currency himself
Okay.

So are you saying the same effect such transaction have using the USD is same with Yuan?
Car Talk › Re: Dealers Now Diversifying As Most Nigerians Can No Longer Afford Cars - Nicakelv by Procashtips(m): 2:00pm On Nov 25, 2024
OlujobaSamuel:
Even if buying from China with Yuan, it will have little to zero significance.
The dollar effect will still reflect, as it will determine how much of 1naira equals to yuan, the only difference now is that you will need to find who will accept naira from you to give Yuan, in this case, CBN. Be ready for another round of roundtripping from CBN staff, bankers and FX sellers, as they will capitalized on it when they noticed surge in demand
Do you actually understand the question and also the Naira to Yuan deal?

Asking to be sure what you said is true, no offence

I want to ask a question

Do we still have the Naira -Yuan deal with China?

If yes, why are we not importing cars from China using this medium of payment which has nothing to do with the USD?
