so it has come to my knowledge that the American pit bull is really friendly in nature but it needs that obedience training at an early stage..while the Staffordshire terrier can be very stubborn and early socialization matters in their training..but I don't think that I would love to own a Staffordshire terrier because I've seen the damage it can cause if it isn't properly trained and well socialized...okay bye!

every dog pose a great risk to the owner if not properly trained. not just the pitbulls or staffordshire. even the common german shepherd. socialization can not be over emphasized when it comes to owning dogs. and the truth is, some pitbulls arent human aggressive.

The Parvo Virus has got to be one of, if not the greatest fear of every dog owner today. Besides the fact that there are no known cure for this dreaded virus, the way it leaves dog owners helpless while they watch their lovely pet go through pains is heart breaking.

If you have ever experienced this painful sitiuation, you'll have come to a point where you ask the question, "what exactly can I do to prevent this".
Here are a few natural ways to prevent Parvo from affecting your pooches



1. Ensure Maximum Cleanliness.
This is the first step to helping your dog. Clean plates, Clean beddings, Fresh water, Grooming and Bathing should always be ensured adequately. A clean dog would have less health issues.
If you have had parvo issues once and are thinking of bringing in a new dog, ensure you bleach the whole house thoroughly. You can bleach continuously for a week or 2 before bringing in your new dog.

2. Avoid contact with other dogs.
Both you and your dog would have to avoid meeting other dogs. Parvo is spread by contact, which means an infected dogs poo, saliva would automatically introduce the virus to your dog.
If you have to visit the Vet, ensure your dog is either in its crate or on your lap the whole time. Wash your hands after leaving the clinic.

3. Ensure Adequate Vaccination.
We all know a lot of vaccines out there have either lost their potency due to broken chain of temperature. It's quite impossible to know which vaccine have had broken chains so in this case, there's little you can do. For those who don't ever use vaccines like myself, see no. 5

4. Ensure Excellent Nutrition.
Check for nutritional values on dog foods you get for your dogs read reviews online on these foods. Ensure your dog is getting the best of nutrition from the food. Get nutritional supplements.

5. Vitamin C.
A crucial way to fight something that breaks down the immune system is to first build the immune walls. It's like saying someone is coming to knock down your gate and you don't know when, so you in turn start building a stronger gate that can't be easily knocked down.
Begin giving your dog vitamin c daily so as to further strengthen their immune system.

Stay safe, and keep your dogs safe.

If only you can do this then you have no question to answer. In my own opinion, if you agreed to feed the dog then her health should've been your priority too. If I board a dog and then owner doesn't pay, is that enough to neglect the dog when she's ill? I'll rather take good care of her and hold on to her till the owner pays me to the last job.

sadly the dog was never at my place. which the op knows very well. and even when the dog died I only felt for the dog, not the owner.

Thanks for your reply, he was once a good person, but he has totally changed, uptil now, you cant believe I have not seen him physically, it was my fiancée who gave him the dog, to take away then.

My fiancée had somebody who wants to be taking care of her then, but I had to tell her that I have somebody I truth, if you see how my fiancée have been quarrelling with me just because of zara.

There are some times my fiancée would call him, he would tell her not to call him again, that he does not have business with her.

I had to be calling him severally, I was not informed until after I disturbed him with calls, before he now opened up yo me that Zara has miscarriage.
I called him and send test messages to him several times, he wouldn't pick and reply my messages, I made a statement that, untill my dog gets well, before I would collect it, but whenever I call, he wouldn't pick and wouldn't even reply my messages.

What was our agreement? What we discussed was that you would take care of the feedings till I am back, and since the dog was sick and you were forcing me to come pick a sick dog, so I told you to treat her before I come pick her up, my chat is there

IMO, this is what you can try.
When changing or switching dog food, make it a gradual process.

Mix the kibbles with the JoJo canned food.
Gradually reduce the canned food as time goes on.

If you're feeding rice, mix the rice with fish.(shawa). He would love it.

Would love to see more pictures of your cute pet.

Please return this puppy to its mom so it can get the health benefits of suckling its mom. Go back and get it after 8 weeks if you are still interested. Truth be told though, you will end up with an embarrassing looking mutt, one way or the other.

Poster. I'll advice you not to vaccinate this dog or the other one you plan to vaccinate. They have strong immune systems and you would only worsen it with the vaccine.

Socialization is key. Read up more on socializing your pet and the benefits
