The stupid Bello thought he could run to the drug lord for protection after looting his state dry. Unfortunately for him, he has no value again for him, so he is absolutely expendable now. I was appalled when that foolish overgrown baby called Reno was using that reckless act to underscore loyalty. Small African countries like Senegal, Ghana etc are busy building strong institutions but here, we have fools like Reno celebrating such disgusting acts. 1 Like |

Iamgrey5: Let’s even agree that it’s a busy road as you said, does it change the fact that it’s equally a very dangerous road? Those using that road despite knowing how dangerous it is are doing so because they have no alternative. To me, it’s as dangerous as Maiduguiri/Bama road in North East. 1 Like |

Even some prominent people with police escort have come under attacks severally and the news can be found on the net, yet you come here to lie so shamelessly? You and your likes can only deceive the ignorant ones. 4 Likes |

LagosFirstSon: You better be very careful and avoid traveling on that Lagos/Ibadan highway except it’s absolutely necessary. The Fulani herdsmen menace in that axis is worse than even some Northern states. If by any stroke of chance you escape the deadly herdsmen who have taken over that stretch of road and surrounding bushes, what about the skull miners? Many travelers have been kidnapped there and beheaded, with other vital body parts and organs dismembered for rituals. Unfortunately, the media is not reporting all these atrocities but those around can tell you horror stories. My brother, abort mission or use a helicopter. I will rather travel freely in Somalia than travel on that road! 5 Likes |

Which faction of NEF is making this stupid statement? The way Tinubu is making mockery of them while they run around helplessly like headless chickens shows that North is truly finished. All these won’t have been happening if it was North of 2000 and prior. Insecurity and collapse of their industry, agriculture and even politics, with the distancing of middle belt has really neutralized the once arrogant North. 1 Like |

I think it’s better to allow them to continue living in their fool’s paradise while shouting Igbo Igbo Igbo everyday as if Igbos are their gods. From Northern elders forum to imams, from emirs to politicians, and down to the average northerners in the street, Tinubu has turned into a huge disappointment. They all regret ever associating with him. However, they’re only careful with their words and actions openly while plotting against him. Tinubu and his men knows already and that’s why they’re using fake Yoruba nation agitation as a blackmail tool. All these minions shouting Igbos everyday on social media like programmed robots are either ignorant or just living in denial. 1 Like |

Foreign Affairs / Re: If Iranian Strikes Were A Flop Why Is Israel Now Declaring War On Iran ? by proeast(m): 1:04am On Apr 16 |
Christian36: Don’t mind them, they’re all commenting based on emotion, without understanding the real implications. Israel has always wanted to destroy Iran’s accumulation of weapons, especially their attempts at becoming nuclear power nation. It’s the US that keeps holding Israel back. However, now that Iran has falling into a trap by stricking directly at Israel, they’ve gotten the opportunity they always wanted to destroy Iran’s stockpile. The only issue now is that they already have other priorities in Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen. So, opening another front with Iran now wouldn’t make sense. Iran knows this, and that’s why they did what they did. Iran would never have tried this if Israel isn’t already in the middle of an existing confrontations, with many people around the world protesting against them. So, in terms of PR, exposure, risks, costs etc. This is not the best of time to go confront Iran headlong. 1 Like |

BadMaster: Lol, some of you are funny. Iran is no match to Israel, and they know it. The only reason they’re doing this now is because they know Israel is too occupied with Gaza and the offshoots in Lebanon and Yemen. So, they won’t want an escalation now due to its wider implications for global stability. With elections coming in America, Biden too wouldn’t want such escalation and they would put much pressure on Israel to holdback. However, just know that Iran has opened a new chapter in their confrontation with Israel. They shouldn’t sleep with two eyes closed anymore because when Israel will finally come for them, it will be crippling. They already have a full dossier of the specific locations of their weaponry. So, striking and obliterating them is something Israel can do within 24 hours. 1 Like |
Politics / Tinubu Vs. North, Who Wins This Roforofo Fight? by proeast(m): 4:51pm On Apr 15 |
Tinubu is really behaving like a drowning man, who pulls at anything he can grab, out of desperation to stay alive. All these are obviously a poorly written script. I hate desperate people with such mentality of either I have my way or everyone perishes, that’s the height of selfishness. On one hand, I like what is happening because it’s karma at work. These Northerners knew Obi was far better than Tinubu in every aspects yet many of them allowed Tinubu to deceive them. We warned them but they never listened, now it’s too late. The monster they fed has grown so big they can’t even control it again. The only chance they have now is to massively support Obi. A strong coalition of Obi with another popular politician from North will sweep Tinubu away, and not even Yakubu will dare rewrite the result. Tinubu is playing a very dangerous game. He has continued to promote Yoruba nationalism against national interests. He is doing it on purpose, so that should he be removed, they will see him as a hero and fight back, using Lagos as their base. If Obi becomes president based on popular national mandate, tinubus plan will fail woefully. But should he complete 8 years, North will not recover from it again. The distancing of middle belt from the core North and the pervasive insecurity, coupled with collapse of their agricultural and industrial sectors have left them completely vulnerable. Almost every northern politician, except those benefiting or working with Tinubu, are totally disappointed with him. Yet, they appear helpless. Obi becoming president in 2027, will rally SS, SE, MB and even North, as well as educated Yorubas. It will give him a pan Nigerian mandate that will enable him to effectively counter any move from Tinubu. Luckily for them, secession movements in the East has reduced drastically in recent times. So, even if Tinubu decides to resurrect Yoruba nation agitation, it will be easily curtailed. Atiku must not be allowed to contest again, otherwise it will be a repeat of 2023. If the North decides to act foolishly again by not supporting Obi… Should Tinubu get re-elected in 2027…. 5 Likes |

The drug lord is really messing these guys up. First, it was to tag El Rufai terrorist and humiliate him out of the same government he fought for. Now, is Ganduje. Truly truly, North is in trouble. I think the alienation of middle belt and several other crises ravaging the region has finally brought them to their knees. Tinubu is already fighting dirty because he knows he won’t survive what they’re planning for him. Who will save his sorry ass? The North is now against him. The East has never been with him due to his dirty personality. The SS aligns with SE. Even in SW, many doesn’t like him. That Tinubu can go this low shows how much disdain he has for Nigeria. It has always been about himself and nothing more. If I were these northerners, they should align with Igbos and SS, and ruthlessly deal with Tinubu. Even if it means smoking him out of Aso Rock like a rat. Just like Gbagbo was dragged out of his bedroom. Tinubu has really bitten more than he can chew, and he should not be allowed to continue causing more damage. 2 Likes |

The rogue drug lord bandit in aso rock is just busy wasting Nigeria’s money on fellow criminals and cartels. How foolish and reckless can Tinubu be? This foolish old man awarded a contract to a Lebanese cartel without due process. The so-called Lagos to Calabar road is now quoted as the most expensive road in the world!!! A road without any engineering or ecological complexity, yet costing more than roads that passed through mountainous terrain and other rugged regions. Even the much longer trans-African highway is nowhere near the cost of this fraudulent road. Tinubu would have been impeached already or forcefully removed like Gbagbo if Nigeria is not such a sorry country. 2 Likes |

LifeofDream: What do you mean by yoruboid group in SS? Aside the small clan of Yoruba people that settled deep within Igbo speaking region of Delta (olukumi) and those at the fringes around Akoko Edo, where else can you find Yorubas in SS? Even the small clan called olukumi is as good as forgotten as Igbos because they’re deep inside the Igbo territory and there is no link between them with the Yoruba territory. Which means they’re 100% settlers and would either accept Igbo identity to integrate or continue with Yoruba and be alienated as settlers forever. Again calling Itshekiris Yoruba is quite funny. But it’s up to them anyways. 3 Likes |
