osile2012: With the level of insecurity facing Nigerians on a daily bases, i think Nairaland needs a section for "SECURITY". Here Nairalanders can get tip off on Crime. Assuming Someone is robbed on a particular route, he or she can post on the security section for those who intend to go the same route can take precaution. Or if there is a terrorist Threat,Attack or new dimension to crime nairalanders could be on alert. |

Why are you guys complaining? This measure was taken to avert the ebola virus, your health should come first before the usual 3-weeks of fun-suffering exercise in camp. You guys will ssffer less, still collect your 19800 meant for the month and still serve the rest months in your respective PPA. My advise to you is that you should maximise the 1hr or so,that you will be given in camp. Take pictures, mingle with those you come in contact with and even start a relationship....if you want to wear youself out with some physical exercises, feel free! Ebola+Nysc abridge time table cannot stop you guys from catching FUN!!!!!!! |
Ubenedictus: hehehehe. |
ayusco85: This has nothing to do with faith bro. Prevention is better than cure. And btw religion has nothing to do with this, this is just common sense.that a drug will work its function is faith-thats y they re called placebols. Everything on earth is related to faith. I'm not saying one shud not tk preventive measures to avert the virus but shaking hands is jst not it for me. While not avoid entering pub buses? |
uzolexis: Christianity does not mean stupidity, these are preventive measures which are very reasonable, there's a reason God gave us brains...because we have faith we should not protect ourselves right??that is why Nigerian christians are easily brain washed cause we have refused to think....pls go and jump down from 3rd mainland bridge cause you have faithdd u read the part where I said sanitizers should b encourage? That is one preventive measure that can b used plus washing your hands with soap and water and staying clear of ppl who shows symptoms of it....that's common sense gal!! Not shaking mks no sense at all to me. U shud at least stay at home since u want to prevent ebola cos one way or d other ppls sweat will touch u during ur so called praise n worship. |
ayusco85: Well I think the catholic church are more sensitive than other churches, taking proactive measures in preventing this ebola spread. In my church today, we were meant to shake our neighboursthat shows there is lack of faith and trust in the church. Whatever happened to faith in God? Smh. Instead of such 'faithless decree,I think sanitizers should be encourage. Love never fails.....not even ebola should limit the ways we express love for our brothers!!!!!!! |
Dreal1247: .uhm.....#eleyi gidi gan o |
Dreal1247: Edo and Delta states are becoming the head quarters of occultism in Nigeria.pls let's not bring tribalism into this. What the man did was wrong, period!!!!!!!!! |
Jim88: Am not sure dats jealousy, maybe owning should b the word, and to think the girl is d dudes dept mate........that lecturer was really high, maybe on alcohol or marijuana.even if he is married to the girl,it still does not justify murder.........that man can't even create a fly,y take live? |
A senior lecturer in the department of Chemistry, College of Education, Agbor, Delta State has been arrested by security agents, for allegedly gunning down a male student for hugging his girl friend. It was gathered that the lecturer fled from the scene after he shot the student at a close range during a party in a bar at Alihami Community. Story has it that the lecturer was furious when the student walked into the party and gave the lady a hug. The girl in question was a female student of the same department. Repor says before the deceased could settle down in the party, the lecturer ran into his car, brought out a gun, shot the student and released streams of gun shots into the air before escaping from the bar. The loud gun shots attracted men of the Nigeria Police, Agbor Division who were on patrol of the area. The Police eventually brought the situation under control. For the time being, sources at the police divisional headquarters in Agbor established that the lecturer is now in the custody of the police. The incident, according to witnesses, is currently being investigated by the police. http://dailypost.ng/2014/08/12/lecturer-shoots-student-hugging-girlfriend/ .......Where is the love? Some humans are just been heartless! |
Mine to fwends : Look at the way you are smiling like a catfish! |
Salt plus water is only effective for treating bacteria infection not VIRUS. The suitable preventive approach for d Ebola virus at d moment is to wash hands properly with a good soap #My two cent |

@irishkez : read a number of your comments and must say you are one brainy lad with a cool disposition when under pressure. Besides, the whole thing about your upbringing is quite commendable (I can relate to that). You came to accept such a way of life without any regrets. Kudos! .......If u do speak the pure language, which I presume you do,then pm me. Tanx |
Finekunlex: Me too...then, I guess you need to enjoy this writer's other articles...he is a wordsmith!Ï'm starting to think u re related to either d op or d writer. Better still maybe it is yr blog after all. Because,yr enthusiastic approach @ recommending dat blog to others is mind-boggling. |
QUINEDO: I know in naira land, there must always be some one who will definitely find fault even when others are complementing the article, and those type of people are called FAULT FINDERS.and u typically belong to that group. Also, there are those on nairaland wЂό̲̣̣̣̥ fails to read the whole story before rendering judgement like you.
