If you are a Yoruba reading this, remember if you join them to scatter your region, they will go back to their region and from there they will laughing at you.

Don't allow anyone to vandalize your state, guide it with all your life. Their target is Lagos, don't fall for their tricks. Before you act, remember the son of whom you are.

They have tried all possible ways to send foreign investors away from SW, please and please don't listen to them. They are only there to instigate you, cheer you up to take arms against your own people while they keep their own.

Use your head and reason with it.

All these are just media propaganda. I have always been around Ojota Ketu since I left Ibadan on Thursday afternoon. What is on ground is totally different from what is posted online. At the first page of this thread posted around 8.31a.m, at Ojota, even at 9 a.m, Gani Fawehinmi and the Ketu environ didn't have anything similar to the picture posted.

It is very unprofessional on the part of the people posting events on the first day or events somewhere as the 3rd day at Ojota to deceive themselves. What do they intend to achieve? An event posted by 8.31a.m on nairaland must have been fully mobilized by 8a.m . At 8.30 a m coming down through ABIOLA Garden you cannot find what was posted online.

They must be used as scape goats for committing treasonable offense.

Igbos should be the last people you ask to leave your region and everyone knows why.

They should first prosecute those who asked the IBOS to leave Northern States in 2017.

2. They should also prosecute the Northern Elders who advised Buhari to allow IBOs to leave Nigeria because of their nuisances.

Atiku and Obi are disappointed that the IBOS are caged and threatened in Lagos and cannot mobilize to create nuisances in Lagos. It was their frustration of being caged in Lagos that led to the nuisances of August 1 at Eagle Square and at nearby Federal Secretariat. They know if IBOS had been allowed to protest in Lagos and instigate riots the damages would have been very enormous. They are disappointed Lagos and South West is peaceful and the North has woken up to reality.

All the Ebi npawa cry in Lagos and South West is instigated by the IBOS. Once they are properly caged, all the noise would stop.

Their hatred, bigotry, resentment and skewed narrative against the igbo man have been their morbid fear, dread and obsession from antiquity.

Imagine the voltrics of the likes of Bayo Onanuga, MC Oluomo, efulefu Joe Igbokwe, Lauretta Onochie, and all the mummified zombie miscreants in desperately trying in futility to turn the #endbadgovernanceinNigeria protests as an Igbo affair?

Racoon, you are a nonentity as far as politics is concerned and always writing uniformed primitive propaganda on nairaland.

The lBOs instigated the North into protest which ultimately led to riots . The protest in Northern States is driven by the protest in Abuja. Whatever happened in the Northern States is instigated by the IBOs orchestrated protest and nuisances at Abuja.

IBOS created the nuisances at Abuja Eagle Square and at nearby Federal Secretariat on August 1. Who are the majority in FCT and nearby Satellite towns / villages in Niger and Nasarawa States ? That is why they are clamoring that to win Presidential election you must win one-third of the total votes in FCT.

After Lagos, Abuja and environ is the place that has IBO majority in Nigeria. They are majority in FCT up to Suleja in Niger State and Mararaba and beyond up to Keffi in Nasarawa State. Their coordination and social media mobilizations worked in Abuja. Atiku and Obi are disappointed that the IBOS are caged and threatened in Lagos and cannot mobilize to create nuisances in Lagos.

Abuja had never had this type of protest, the little intensive protest Abuja had was during Obasanjo because Oshiomhole led NLC executive to Aso Rock. All the major national political protest and civil unrest from the time of Pa Michael Imodu happened majorly in Lagos and South West.

If IBOs had been allowed to instigate protest in Lagos, many South West States would have been burned down.

All the Ebi npawa cry are IBO instigated cry. I have posted some weeks ago how some IBOs registered on NIN using Yoruba names. Some even have International Passports with Yoruba names to camouflage and cause problems.

Sunday Igboho has spoken about 5 days ago that his group is against Protest in Yoruba land.

I will write open letter to Bayo Onanuga and IGP to investigate a CSO led by a lady with hired scanty protesters at Ibadan yesterday. One of the placards had " End Democracy Now" another had "Declare State of Emergency". They want to end democracy and invite Military to declare State of Emergency. They are too small. DSS should investigate them.

See now. Those who say the protests will fail are biting their fingers

They are not biting their fingers because the protest went as expected. During Buhari 's eight years in office the protest was only active in Lagos and South West. During Jonathan era, the protest of Save Nigeria Group in 2010 and the Fuel Subsidy protest of 2012 were majorly active in Lagos and South West.

In Sokoto, during Buhari regime, Bishop Kukah the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese was threatened with death for preaching against Buhari despite Sokoto being a PDP state. Today, we are grateful the Sultan and the Sultan palace felt the protest. We can see protest in few other Northern States as planned and sponsored by the Cabals.

The last time protest was a little bit felt in Abuja was during Obasanjo because Oshiomhole led NLC executive to protest in Aso Rock for discussion.

So, the protest went as predicted.

Nigerians actually thought this hunger problems is limited to Nigeria alone!

It is not only in Nigeria, Ghana polity is also charged just like many African countries, the difference in Nigeria is our population and born to rule mentality of some people and those who never wanted to be part of Nigeria.

In Ghana, Sentuo Oil Refinery, a 5 million metric tonnes per annum Petroleum Refinery cost $1.9billion. Yet Ghanaians are complaining. In Nigeria the same Refinery will cost around $10 billion or $15billion and the promoters will now get loans from consortium of banks to finance other project and get Federal Government support in different ways amounting to over $5billion dollars. At the end, indirectly, it will be the government that fund almost 80% of the project indirectly. Already, I told some Ghanaians this fact on a Social Media platform. This is possible in Nigeria because of Ethnic complicity and some very weak nationalities within Nigeria looking for alignment with a major Nationality for survival. This is not possible in Ghana.

Tonobok Okowa is the Athletic Federation of Nigeria President and also the President of Africa Athletics Region II. He is a man of integrity. All the names mentioned by the Minister, I didn't see Tonobok Okowa, except he is no longer there which I doubt. Why would an athlete been having problems out of several athletes and it is happening the second time.

Online miscreants attributed her ordeal to tribal hatred playing the usual victim card. In Tokyo in 2022 and now Paris in 2024, I cannot see the ethnic and tribal angle the online miscreants are bringing out.

They can do bum rush to Aso Rock or National Assembly, the Court verdict is for Lagos.

Fuel subsidy protest of January 2012 took place at Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota and the Peace Park in Ketu.

The people that led this protest were the same people that led the 2010 protest that gave power to Jonathan as Acting President.

Mind you, blocking roads or forcefully closing marketplace or businesses can be resisted and protest turn to riots. If National Union of Roads Transport Workers or Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria decide they want to work to feed their families, blocking of roads might lead to confrontation.

Is the August 1 protest because of January 2012 Protest? The reasons and circumstances were not the same. If protest is based on vendetta, it can lead to riots and many things can happen.

Was that the reason Lagos State Government properties and some selected individuals properties were destroyed during end SARS protest?

You cannot protest because you want to revenge January 2012 protest. Those who led 2012 protest also led 2010 protest that made Jonathan Acting President .

You cannot use protest as a Political Coup to undemocratically effect a change of government.

At the end, if groups emerged to defend and protect their State Government properties, selected individuals properties and to defend their traditional institutions in their States, there would definitely be collision between Politically motivated protest and those willing to defend their territories with their lives.

The leaders of the August 1 protest should lead their teams. Any provocation of the groups protecting the repeat of the destruction of properties and denigration of their traditional institutions during end SARS may lead to serious civil unrest. Those caught in the middle may pay for it.

Already there is a security report of disgruntled Political losers who are planning to undemocratically effect a change of government .

Late Chief TOS Benson, about a year before his death told us the White Colonial Officers gave them SECURITY REPORT about the riots in Western Region before the riot. That was what led to Awolowo trials of Treason and Felony that made him to be sent to Prison in Calabar.

The DSS already had a report. We were not around to witness the Western Region riot. We saw what happened during end SARS and the news was hot they said many people died including ENIOLA BADMUS. All the messages from UK and US were based on ENIOLA BADMUS.

Two popular fraternities in the Universities in South West urged their members to forward verifiable pictures and BioData of any youths in their areas or other places that died at the LEKKI Tollgate or any candlelight procession of any youth anywhere who was a victim at the tollgate to their various social media groups during the Judicial Inquiry sitting , till date, no authentic or clear or verifiable BioData of anybody.

Thank God, it is already late, otherwise, they would have kidnapped ENIOLA BADMUS that day to blackmail the government, at that point, if they say they killed 300 people and dumped them in Lagoon, everybody would have believed them. They are desperate, they can do anything.

The lady never said they should not protest in Nigeria, she was only advising Lagos Market Women.

Protest can never go bloody if government doesn't present a counter protest.

At Abuja, Dino Melaye and several other people were arrested. Also, in 2014 when Dino Melaye led another protest against procurement of Armoured vehicles, a pro government protesters clashed with his group, his group was manhandled.

You cannot compare the situation of occupy Nigeria with the present situation, Occupy Nigeria protest against subsidy removal when Nigeria was selling crude at high Price and our daily consumption was very low, our debt was very low, daily oil output was around 2 million barrel per day and the government inherited a robust economy from Obasanjo with foreign reserve and other investment estimated around $60 billion.

More importantly, there was no security report of disgruntled Political Campaign or groups planning to hijack the protest to undemocratically effect a change of government or report of tribal group selected attack on government properties and selected individuals properties as witnessed in Lagos during end SARS protest.

Also, different groups that are fully prepared to protect government properties, traditional institutions and selected individuals properties at their respective States may collide together.

For that, they may not open the can of worms.

As I said about two days ago, for Dangote to have said he didn't enjoy any incentive from Federal Government to build the refinery is an insult on our intellect. People of Oby Ezekwesili, Madam Okonjo-Iweala and other high calibre Nigerians will never accept that. It is an insult to our intellect. Even in his present state, which I believe will soon be over, Emefiele can never accept that.

In 2021 July when the deal was sealed we were told the Refinery was 90% completed. The support to the Refinery was both from NNPC and CBN as our last resort for survival economically. It seems NNPC has seen something that we don't know.

We should support the Refinery because if the Refinery is not supported, I can bet it with NNPC MD or the President, Portharcourt Refinery can never work except it is sold to private investor. I don't see how any government refinery can function in the midst of the Mafia.

Tinubu is actually responsible for this stake reduction

Which prejudice? I have heard it before it was public. What he said was an afterthought.

I have been the most consistent supporter of Dangote Refinery since 2017 while posting as babaolofin. Before then, I have fought and defended Dangote Cement against IBETO during Jonathan bad governance. On the Okpella case between BUA and Dangote, I was on the side of Dangote. Right from the time of Kemi Adeosun as Finance Minister Dangote has enjoyed support from Federal Government on the establishment of this refinery with the hope that it would lessen the burden on Nigeria. He has enjoyed incentives and windfalls from Federal Government under Emefiele and Buhari. We know this thing. Dangote cannot come out to say he has not gotten any incentive from Federal Government. That is an insult to our intellect.

Kyari is the GMD of NNPC when the 20% deal was sealed under Buhari. Who represented FG and who represented Dangote Refinery? Was it just gentleman Rankadede agreement? What are the terms? What about the legal documents as at that time? Emefiele should speak because we all know when NNPC acquired the 20% share .

As it is, NNPC should just forget about Portharcourt Refinery or Warri or Kaduna, they will never be allowed to work except they are sold. They will frustrate them, they can even burn them. No NNPC refinery will be made to work except Dangote Refinery is accepted by NNPC.

How is Dangote saying NNPCL has 7.5% stake an attack when Nigerians erroneously think its 20%? You don't expect him to set the record straight?

You said Nigerians erroneously think it is 20%?

Nigeria has been shortchanged and there is nothing anybody can do.

It is good that Tinubu is the President and we have Cardoso as CBN Governor and Wale Edun as Finance Minister. So many hidden things that have not allowed concrete decision to be taken by South West elites will now be made open. When special investigator was appointed to probe CBN operations under Emefiele, I know so many things would be revealed.

The way Kogi State Government shares in Obajana Factory diminished to zero is the same way NNPC's share of 20% diminished to less than 10% and may eventually reduced to 2% or nothing. It is very easy when Dangote is dealing with full time politicians but it may be difficult to accept when dealing with politicians that understand business and economy.

All the incentives given to Dangote by FG with loans to be paid by Nigeria is now zero. Thank God, naira is now floated. My last write-up on Dangote Refinery few weeks ago, I said I am confused and I don't know what is happening again. I said I became confused when he said he has almost settled all the loans taken to build the refinery when the refinery is yet to fully takeoff. I said I suspect Nigeria has been shortchanged. Something went wrong somewhere. I said for Dangote to have visited Tinubu with his mother and the eldest Dantata an old man last year, it means something.

Despite all the sacrifices and hope Nigeria has placed on this refinery, at the end, the owner said Nigeria has no stake in it. He is the one in charge, he determines how much has been committed to the project to determine the percentage of NNPC shares. All dollars incentives and windfalls from CBN are nothing now at this stage. At the end, NNPC share may become 2% as Tinubu, Cardoso and Edun can never play ball as it was under Buhari.

Coming back to Mallam Farouk, he is a man of few words. Such men often carry out deep meditation before speaking. Portharcourt Refinery can never be allowed to work. Two forces are against Portharcourt Refinery, the importers and Dangote Refinery. Some years back, I witnessed where an organization staged a sabotage of an industrial installation in another organization by bribing some people in that organization to damage the installation for them to be the only supplier to that organization. It happened in Portharcourt, it also happened in another organization in Lagos. Multinational corporations like Flour Mills, Tolaram Group, Air Liquide, BOC , etc understand what I am saying.

For the families not to have spoken out all these years, I believe they or better still, the elders involved have been adequately "settled"... Whether that money flowed down the family tree is now strictly a family issue, and has nothing to do with the Dangote or even the state government

The youths should rather ask questions from their elders, not from the government... Don't be surprised if the money shared actually went round, no matter how small each family got, and was spent on frivolities

You don't know much about the culture, government, development and land policy in South West. What Dangote enjoys in that place you cannot try it in Niger Delta and even in South East that I know very well. Mind you those part of Niger Delta are also swampy area.

Only Senator Gbenga Bareehu Ashafa can explain to us and the ELEMORO Family of Ibeju and the entire families in Ibeju what transpired about that land and the $100 million payment without any developmental projects in that area. In Lagos State, there is what they called Land Acquisition in those areas. Once acquisition comes in, the people are helpless.

I have been at the forefront of paying compensations and settlement to communities in Niger Delta for organizations that have offices and factories in Lagos and NigerDelta. While no communities in Lagos and Ogun give these organizations any stress, the factories/offices in NigerDelta are constantly under harassment and threat by the communities. From time to time, the Industrial Relation officers, the Community Relationship Managers are always having meetings with different community leaders and meeting their conditions. Such posts are not not created in Lagos/Ogun factories.

Building an industry close to natural resources is different from buying a village land.

Senator Gbenga Bareehu Ashafa should explain to IBEJU people the deals that transpired before the Land was sold to Dangote. IBEJU youths and generations unborn will still ask questions.

It's great to see private investments like Dangote Refinery making significant contributions to our economy. The Federal Government's support will surely enhance such projects in the future.

On the $100 million paid for the land to Lagos State, the Lagos State House of Assembly should let us know about this money. The Elemoro family of Ibeju and other families in Ibeju should demand to know what developmental projects have been executed for the people by Lagos State Government. Fashola, Ambode and Sanwoolu should tell us about this money.

I am coming back to Ogun State Government later about Dangote Factory at Ibeshe and the new one under construction at Itori. How much was paid to Ogun State Government?

Politics / Re: Dangote Refinery Products Inferior; Nigeria Can't Rely On Them Alone - NMDPRA by professorPABX: 8:05pm On Jul 18
Standing5:
The indian guy from Dangote refinery fired the first shot when he exposed the corrupt NNPCL for importing adulterated fuel into the country. Corruption must fight back. No wonder our refinery is not working.
I will advise the fool attacking Dangote to answer by making public owned refinery under them provide us with clean fuel.

BUA (Abdulsamad Rabiu) will just be spending his midnight prayers meditating on Oil Mafia strategies and be thinking if it worth it for him to concentrate fully on his Refinery Project in AkwaIbom or wait to see the end of the Mafia game plan.

I was also wondering why Mike Adenuga that is into upstream and downstream oil sector has not gone into Refinery Project.

Actually, the Indian man at Dangote Refinery is a very experienced person. This is the 3rd time he will expose NNPC, each time, the NNPC fights back. This time around, Malam Farouk, a man of few words came out openly and very hard against Dangote Refinery, this calls for great attention. The game is very risky. Portharcourt Refinery can never deliver by August.

Igbo people 😆

It will be difficult to identify them now and in future. I saw an IBO man at Iwo Road, Ibadan local government NIMC office applying for National Identity Card using Yoruba Name. In 2007 at Abuja, I have seen IBOS with Nigerian International Passports with Yoruba names applying for UK Visa.

Wole has no character. I don't give a hoot about age cos fooIs too grow old with time. Old age is not an achievement as it doesn't necessarily make u wiser that has been proven to be the case in Nigeria

Is it normal for CCTV to be installed in hotel rooms / suites? Is it possible that somebody was using Phone's camera to record the incident?

The EFCC should consider Intelligence Report on the above possible scenarios to scrutinize the whole situation.

Northerners are major problem bedeviling this country

I think over a week ago when the Customs CG raised alarm about smuggling some uninformed social media youths and miscreants were talking nonsense. We know what is happening for many years. We just keep quiet because the situation we found ourselves by the British Colonial Masters cannot be helped.

For many years while using my original account (babaolofin), I have posted that our income should not be tied to our estimated population when calculating GDP . There are parasitic nations feeding on Nigeria. The former governor of Bauchi, few years back said they want to use NIGERIA's RESOURCES to prosper the interest of FULANIs across Africa. Smuggling is officially allowed out of Nigeria by those people provided it will make life easy for their people. They forgot Nigeria took loans to defend Dollars for those importers, Nigeria took loans to provide subsidy on Fuel and Nigeria will pay back.

When Gaius Obaseki was the GMD of NNPC during OBJ era (first tenure), that was coming out from long era of Petroleum scarcity under the Military , he alerted the nation to the issue of Petrol Stations being allocated fuels but the fuels didn't get to the filling station. As at that time, despite allocation there was scarcity, meaning, not every allocation ended at the desired filling station.

It is very difficult for trucks of 45,000 or 33,000 litres to cross the borders at South West except by kegs or by boats . The way the Northern elites defend the interest of Niger Republic, especially when the suspended Senator that just resumed also mentioned it in his accusations against Tinubu, it is very clear they have no issue with trailers of petrol being smuggled out to Niger and other Sahel countries.

Politics / Re: Magboro Overflows With Filth As PSP Abandons Refuse Collection by professorPABX: 8:56am On Jun 24

Dirty community

Will government do everything

Very very wrong comment. Highly uninformed comment. What has the Governor done for all the communities since 2019.

I was about to write UN, FG and Non State Actors (Civil Societies) about the imminent breakout of Cholera pandemic in Ogun State.

What is happening at MAGBORO is small when compared with MOWE and IBAFO. Ogere is another epidemic point.

At MOWE up to IBAFO, there are millions of Nigerians living there. There is no single government official wastes or refuse dumpsite . There is no single government wastes pickup location. For years, people chose unused shallow places where they dump wastes and communities burned them.

Later, after many years, government sends PSP Wastes Collection Trucks to these sites to collect the Wastes in about three locations. The trucks were very erratic, after few months, they stopped coming.

Before you know it, Ogun State Waste Management Agency - OGWAMA, put up a big Billboard at the three major wastes/ refuse dumpsite / wastes collection point. DO NOT DUMP WASTE HERE, FINE is =N=100,000. Note, before this notice, those trucks have stopped coming for months, that was almost 2 years ago . At MAGBORO and part of IBAFO, the privately arranged PSPs are not regular and not forthcoming again as they have to take the refuse to Lagos (Ojota) and it seems it is not possible again.

Now, there are refuses everywhere. All the Lagos - Ibadan expressway drainage system have been blocked by refuses, all gutters, farms, even rivers filled with refuses and this is applicable to most part of Ogun State.

Where is Dapo? Where is Ogun State Government? The last OJUDE OBA festival at Ijebu Ode that was used to showcase our culture was turned to abuse to Ijebus when we are reminded we have a State with the worst roads in Nigeria. This government is a waste. Dapo allowed the IBOS to abuse the IJEBUS for showing off when the State is dirty and have no good roads.
