They died almost simultaneously. The gods are not to blame is a Book by Ola Rotimi.

It is not too late. Some people out of bitterness and hatred may not witness the Third Anniversary (May 29, 2026) while some people out of bitterness may not witness Tinubu's Second Tenure Inauguration (May 29, 2027).

It absolutely makes no sense using another country's currency to settle your own trade internationally.

You're giving the US an unfair advantage over you.

The problem is highly technical. BRAZIL is directly opposite Nigeria on the Global map. Nigeria (Calabar) to Rio is just 6 hours journey. There are Cities in US that are 6 hours apart by flight. Because there is no direct flight from Lagos to Brazil it takes 20 hours to get to Brazil. Brazil and Nigeria have tremendous economic advantages that are beneficial to both countries that can reduce the pressure of dollars on Nigeria. Tinubu knows this, US ( Donald Trump) know this. A country that wants to free herself from the impact economic control by global economy must plan ahead.

Just dey look. Reno has started the groundwork. I don't know what concerns Obi and Oyedepo's phone call in this serious matter... As I dey support Tinubu, the opposition dey vex me; they make it too easy for the president. The oppositions in the nation are not smart at all; they are the ones influencing one-party state indirectly. They are so easy to play.

Live transmission of electronic results is not possible. It cannot achieve 30% success. Even in US it can not achieve 50% success. I have my reasons. Nairaland has been deleting my comments which is based on my experiences with previous elections and observations about IT / Telecoms infrastructure in Nigeria and ICT infrastructure of INEC. Despite nairaland deletion of the comments and banning, the Federal Government is much aware of the problems. I also believe Bayo Onanuga, DSS, DMI & DIA will get the information through other medium.

Your last paragraph is what I'm most interested in since time will take care of the rest. You claimed ADC are sending thugs to disrupt their own gatherings and that's just disingenuous. Aside from that, would you say the simultaneous crisis in LP and PDP does not have Tinubu's hand in it? Why is he afraid of a fair contest? Okowa was VP candidate and a sitting governor in 2023, why couldn't he deliver Delta state? Aren't you being bias by thinking only Seyi Makinde will fail to deliver his state while all other governors will deliver Tinubu in their states? The South wouldn't just cower to Tinubu and vote him simply because he undemocratically disenfranchised their preferred candidate from the race. The best outcome Tinubu can hope for is to have voter apathy. Very few who didn't vote for him in 2023 will queue up to do so in 2027.

We can feel the pulse. It's barely a year to the election and Tinubu is still not loved in the South. Forget the defecting governors. APC had 21 governors in 2023 and Tinubu only won in 12 states. Nearly half of those 12 states were not APC-governed states. He's already panicking and going after Elrufai which is a strategic mistake as far as the North is concerned.

You have said nothing. I was banned by nairaland as usual to prevent immediate response. They ban intellectual input to allow uncensored low profile content. I am sure at 4 a.m they can delete my reply again. You are using states controlled by APC in 2023 as a condition for voting in 2023. Every intelligent person knows that APC was balkanized before election. Votes for Tinubu in 2023 was not based on Party controlled by APC. In Rivers, Amaechi used APC machinery for Atiku. In South West, Osinbajo, Aregbesola, Fayemi, Ojudu and others with followers never supported Tinubu. In the North, It was a battle of conviction. El - Rufai single handedly fought for Tinubu. Baba Tanko Yakassai and other bridges Tinubu built also tried. The votes were never because of APC. After the death of BUHARI, during the Burial, the Northern Emirs and elders must have realized and noticed something.

In 2023, Adamu the APC Chairman was against Tinubu. Sure Lamido, an elder Statesman said BUHARI never wanted Tinubu but Lawan. He said Tinubu fought his way to Presidency. The cashless policy and Naira redenomination that brought hardship were to frustrate Tinubu and give Atiku edge. Highly exposed people know in 2023 it wasn't about States controlled by APC because Nigeria had no opposition party since Year 2020. The only opposition in Nigeria was APC BUHARI and Tinubu camp. Tinubu is a warrior. He fought OBASANJO to remain the One man Standing as Governor. He fought his way to Presidency.

ABIOLA votes were never because of State Governors but on conviction.

All the cry about electronic transmission of results is just to create confusion and chaos so as to call for cancellation of election. If I post the reason electoral transmission can never be 50% successful as even in US, it has never been 60% successful, nairaland will delete this post and ban me.

We are simply saying the same thing as far as Makinde is concerned. This also puts to bed all claims that having 36 governors will deliver Tinubu at the polls since the SW will prioritise their region. Other regions will largely do the same in 2027. Tinubu won the 2023 elections with 5.6m votes from the North. He only won 4 Southwestern states across the entire South and lost the South woefully to Obi. Tinubu cannot replicate his 2023 Northern votes, and it's foolhardy to claim he has replaced those votes with votes from the South when you have publicly admitted that he still won't win the Southeast. Historically, even the Southsouth has always largely mirrored the Southeast in terms of voting patterns. How then does Tinubu intend to win the election, even with rigging?

We are not saying the same thing but as usual, nairaland may ban me as usual to allow you confuse yourself and other ignorant people. Intelligently and clearly the blind and dumb knows we never said the same thing on the issue of Makinde.

Historically, two elections were never the same. It always get better and dynamically it shows before the election. I know Mallam Nasir El Rufai during ABACHA regime and I know Mallam Hakeem Baba Ahmed in 1998 when he was the Executive Secretary of INEC, that was when El Rufai was a member of Presidential Advisory Council to President (Gen Abubakar). Both Mallam Hakeem Baba Ahmed and Nasir El Rufai at this period would have known Tinubu would win. Atiku knows Tinubu would win. It is not a matter of Regional voting as it is done in South East because of vendetta. ABIOLA defeated TOFA in Kano. I can authoritatively tell you Tinubu would defeat Atiku in Kano, Jigawa, Katsina and Kaduna. In Adamawa, it may be 52 to 48 against Tinubu. I said this for a reason I know very well but with all due respect to Waziri Adamawa I will not say it online.

What happened in 2023 was a collective battle against Tinubu which began after 2019 election and after the removal of Oshiomole as Chairman and the death of Ajimobi. From 2020 to 2023 APC had no opposition, the only Political opposition in Nigeria was internal battle between Buhari Camp and Tinubu Camp. No opposition for 3 years just scheming against Tinubu supremacy and presidential ambition.

When Tambuwal sent OBI out of PDP to the street, Politically, OBI was nobody until OKUPE and Baba Ayo Adebanjo picked him up from Political gutter as Political Orphan and take his IBO Presidency as the battle of their lifetime which ultimately they both died for simultaneously. They gave him life Politically and took the case to OBASANJO and others that have scores to settle with Tinubu. The fact that they never witnessed the second year anniversary of Tinubu government shows that something happened in the Spirit realm.

After Buhari, the North has never accepted Atiku as their leader. Just like Shehu Yaradua defeated Falae by 90% in SDP primary in South West because Falae was not a replacement for Baba Awo or Abraham Adesanya or Baba Ajasin. The South South which you claimed follow IBO in electoral voting pattern is false. Bitterness of Jonathan loss made them voted the last time. During June12, 1993 ABIOLA lost Rivers because of Ikwerre but won EDO, Delta, AkwaIbom and Cross River.

This time around, Voting pattern in Rivers, Bayelsa, AkwaIbom, Cross River, Edo and Delta would be entirely different.

All the crying about electronic transmission of results which can never be 50% successful is to create chaos and crisis and to cause confusion which will lead to election annulment. The key players in Nigeria know that Tinubu would win. All the set-up of hooligans to disrupt ADC meetings by ADC is because they have nothing formidable on ground. They are confused. According to Agbadorians, Obi Cubana, Zenco and Cubana Chiefpriest will deliver the Southeast to Tinubu but Seyi Makinde cannot deliver Ibadan to ADC. Your analysis of Makinde is extremely wrong. Makinde cannot deliver Oyo State to Tinubu. Oyo State without Makinde is for Tinubu and APC is coming back to OYO State Government House. Makinde is valueless as far as 2027 is concerned.

Coming to those people, as I have always said, based on my experiences as a student in the University in South East several years ago it is a wastage of effort and wastage of money to rely on them. Seyi Tinubu is a young man who is inexperienced about the behavioral patterns and cultural orientation of Nigeria. He is naive and as a young man he is being carried away by Glamour and Fair Weather Friends. Seyi is naive and inexperienced. Those people can never vote for Tinubu. I remembered how SDP and not ABIOLA won Anambra by 51.5% against 48.5% in 1993 because of Anthony Anenih lobbying and pleading with Ezeife the then Governor of Anambra. Despite all the plea, Ojukwu refused. He said the Secretary is a man that serves his master Tea in the office. We were young, we never knew it was more than that. They made ABIOLA to lose Rivers State to Tofa. Going through various Social Media platforms you can see the bitterness and deep hatred these people harbour towards Tinubu and the YORUBAS. You can see the blackmailing, insult and assault. It is a wastage of effort expecting anything from the South East.

Bayo Onanuga, Dele Alake and madam (Oluremi Tinubu) should not expect anything good from that side (South East), I know what I am saying. When I was posting using my Personal Account (babaolofin) since year 2022 I prophesied that Senator Tinubu would win the 2023 election. In the heat of the campaign, I asked Baba Odumbaku to forget about all the issues with CCC Headquarters and meet Pastor EMF Oshoffa and Pastor Tosho to pray for Asiwaju at Imeko where Baba SBJ is buried.

I can authoritatively say Asiwaju would win 2027 election with wide margin. There is no any opposition, ADC is not an opposition. They want to create chaos and crisis, they are projecting election annulment and that is why they are sponsoring electronic transmission that cannot be 50% successful. They want to scuttle the democratic processes. We are looking at how they want to achieve that.

Finally, with my 6 years in the University in South East several years ago, I can authoritatively say Asiwaju can never win in South East, except by chance in EBONYI because of David Umahi and not because of Glamour Boys.

I was physically present in court, and I witnessed firsthand the conduct of the defendant, Maureen Badejo. I saw a woman who displayed what many would describe as emotional instability, even theatrical desperation, in a calculated bid to sway public sentiment. She cried openly before the public , pleading with Nigerians to believe she is being victimised. She appeared before the court without a bra, an act many perceived as deliberately provocative. She wept uncontrollably before she was eventually granted bail. Let the record reflect: these are not fabrications. These events took place in plain view.

It is imperative that the public understands the true nature of this case. The matter before the court is not associated with the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), nor does it involve Dr. Daniel Olukoya. Any attempts to link this case to MFM or its General Overseer are deliberate diversions intended to muddle the issues and protect the real party involved.

This case is solely about Apostle Johnson Suleiman. Let there be no ambiguity.

There are currently fifteen petitioners against Maureen, and intelligence available to us indicates that this number may increase as more individuals come forward with relevant evidence and testimonies. This is not a persecution; it is a pursuit of justice. It is a collective demand for accountability from someone who has, for too long, operated as though the laws of this land do not apply to her.

I am compelled to caution the general public against lending credence to bloggers and online content creators who profit from sensationalism, distortion, and outright falsehoods. Their business model thrives on chaos, and they have no vested interest in the sanctity of truth. I do not monetise the quest for justice. I do not post for profit. I post because I believe that no one—regardless of title, influence, or connections—should be above the law.

For the avoidance of doubt, Maureen Badejo was represented in court by three lawyers—two females and one male. She has legal representation. She has access to the court. She has every opportunity to defend herself. What she does not have is the liberty to evade the weight of evidence that is steadily mounting against her. My counsel to her is simple: she must prepare her defence with the seriousness it deserves because these matters will not disappear. The evidence is substantial. The allegations are grave. And the court will have its say.

Let me be clear: Maureen Badejo is not going anywhere until she answers to every single allegation brought before the court. Justice is not a respecter of persons. I call on Nigerians to remain discerning. Do not be swayed by sponsored content, emotional blackmail, or the noise of those who profit from misinformation. Follow this case closely. Demand transparency. Insist on accountability.

It is extremely bad, very bad and that is why I hardly come to nairaland now except my attention is drawn by my friends. I suspected they bought shares and pump money to control what happens here. The worst thing is that they suppressed intellect and banned privilege information. They allowed insults and blackmailing and assaulting of the President and key people from South West region but immediately you provide a response their dictionary automatically change it , they called your response aggressive.

Another worst scenario is for one or two of their moderators to tackle you and when it becomes obvious they have no information but just making fool of themselves, they ban you and continue making reply to your comments. Observers will expect reply from you to their response not knowing you were banned for them to be making responses unanswered. They can also delete your comments while retaining the foul topic and assault responses in support of the foul topic. The good thing is that this is known in some government quarters.

Make no mistakes, the Datti brothers are both on the payroll of Tinubu. I met Mallam Hakeem Baba Ahmed once as a very young man in 1998 when he was the Executive Secretary of INEC under Gen Abubakar government. He was or he is a personal friend of Mallam Nasir El Rufai a very intelligent person who was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council of General Abdulsalam Abubakar at 36 years. They know Nigeria politics very well. One thing I observed about them is that they don't pretend, they will say it as it is or as they critically see it.

What Mallam Hakeem Baba Ahmed said is known to Ayo Adebanjo and OKUPE in the Grave. It is known to OBASANJO and Babangida. I like Northern Elders Forum and their members. I like AREWA Consultative Forum and their members. They devote their time and resources on Nigeria politics and Northern interests. I like OHANEZE NDIGBO and her members and followers devoted their time
and energy on IGBO cause not minding other view. AFENIFERE after Baba Ajasin, Baba Abraham Adesanya and Baba Fasoranti lost focus and became irrelevant, useless and irresponsible under Baba Ayo Adebanjo. After Atiku and Tambuwal sent Peter OBI away from PDP to the Streets Politically as a Political Orphan in 2022 if Baba Ayo Adebanjo and Doyin OKUPE have not gone to pick him up we wouldn't have been discussing this topic today. We wouldn't be having all the petitions to the US today.

I pray Peter OBI should be made the Consensus Candidate since that is what he wants. OBASANJO should go and beg Babangida on OBI'S behalf to appeal to Atiku no to contest. If OBI becomes the President the Old Federal Secretariat at Ikoyi which OBASANJO sold as President but seized by Lagos State (TINUBU) through Legal tussle would be released to him.

They can generate or fabricate a list with pictures that is not a problem. My problem is that CAN has become a political tool just like in the time of Jonathan under Pa Ayo Oritsajefor. There is a problem in Southern Kaduna from time immemorial. These people are Christians and they are being oppressed because they are minority. Using religion to attract sympathy and support from wider population is the only option left for their survival. This option is also the only option left for survival in Benue and Plateau States against the FULANI. A tribe in the Southern Part of NIGERIA is now using them as a bait for International Assistance and support by becoming a Public Relations Manager for them to the United States. My concern is that this option doesn't address the fundamental issues that created the problem. The problem is not created by Religion. The attack is not because they are Christians, the crisis is an ethnic based crisis.

CAN becoming a political tool cannot last forever. When serious crisis comes, CAN would be consumed by the crisis and those hopeless people hiding behind CAN would be exposed and consumed by the crisis.

OHANEZE NDIGBO is even more brutal and very crude in their defense of the interest of NDIGBOS. OHANEZE NDIGBO in 2023 released a statement immediately Tinubu won APC Ticket blackmailing, insulting and assaulting Tinubu. I was waiting for Response from AFENIFERE but disappointedly after Tambuwal sent Peter OBI out of PDP to the Streets Politically, it was Ayo Adebanjo and OKUPE that came to his rescue.
It took the gods to stop them from witnessing Tinubu's Second Year Anniversary.

Currently, Nigeria is passing through a decisive phase that would determine if Africa would move forward. US interest in Nigeria is beyond the propaganda of Christian killing, there are so many things that are happening or about to happen that made them pitch their tent here. I am aware of those that are writing different petition to US because they felt helpless and hopeless and rely on Social Media propaganda and blackmail to arouse international sympathy for survival.

It is by Divine Providence that you are the one in Power during this phase in the life of Nigeria. If it had been the other way we wouldn't have been very stable and peaceful as it is now. The Grace that brought you to power will also sustain you.

He was not the one who gave himself 001. Before he even made that statement, they have already started having squabbles. If not he would not have decamped without Wike's knowledge. In Borno, the governor Zulum is the leader of the party even though Shettima is the VP and was his predecessor. In Akwa Ibom, Eno is the leader even though Akpabio is the number 3 man. Even if Amaechi was still in the APC, the governor coming in will become the leader. What happened in Enugu when the governor wanted to move to APC? The NWC had to dissolve the state Exco. It is just that Fubara on a norm is a weakling. Even as Kano is, the governor is going to be 001 even though there is Ganduje and Barau.

What the F do you mean by gratitude? To open the state Treasury with unlimited access? For all documents to be sent to Wike in Abuja for him to minute on and return to The gov on Monday morning? For him to be caged like an animal? Even Tinubu did not cage Fashola and Sanwo Olu like that. The PDP too should show gratitude to Wike by allowing him to control the whole party. Firstly, you are wrong in your analysis. It shows you don't know the dynamics of Party Politics. I must admit you know what I and other people don't know about what is happening in Rivers State . FUBARA has not spoken out. WIKE has not spoken out as well but you just told us the basis of disagreement. Firstly, 001 is not the problem. Enugu's case is quite different from Rivers State. If Otti moves to APC today, he cannot enjoy what Enugu's governor enjoyed because of Orji Uzor Kalu. Peter MBA is APC in Enugu. He was invited, not coerced by circumstances. They (Enugu State and National APC ) invited him and handed over the Party to him.

If you read my write-up very well, I didn't say FUBARA is not 001 but it must be done with diplomacy and decency. WIKE is his Destiny Helper. I am not from Rivers State but Rivers State is my second State. To be a Governor of a State like Rivers is only by divine Providence but you must recognize the channel used. This problem started from the beginning. Does it mean no agreement before the election?

Secondly, the House cannot impeach him while the President is not around because majority of them are in APC. President and APC governors and the Party must intervene. One thing I hate is the Phrase "Is it not Rivers Money". When Amaechi was governor, I escorted my friend a special assistant to him and personal friend to the Deputy Governor to a meeting in ABUJA with a retired Military Intelligence Officer from Rivers State who is a personal friend to my friend. Two other Rivers men were around. I heard the phrase repeatedly, "Is it not Rivers Money?" Though you are an Accountant General, if your Boss used his power to give you power by spending Billions, after you got power, you are now saying it is Rivers Money. It is not good. I don't know what really happened I am just speculating based on what you stated above.

If OBASANJO were to be in power FUBARA would have been impeached. What happened between LADOJA and ADEDIBU is not up to this before OBASANJO removed LADOJA. This is also what happened between NGIGE and CHRIS UBA before OBASANJO humiliated NGIGE

Most of you are too shallow to understand the dynamics of Party Politics as enumerated by Ayodele Fayose. Only the deep can reach unto the deep, a shallow minded person cannot understand deep things because they are mysteries.

AMAECHI created problems for APC in Rivers State. It is not possible for Ayodele Fayose to go deep in his analysis. APC (Tinubu's Faction) doesn't have leader in Rivers State. I am very happy that Uncle Ayodele Fayose is behind WIKE. Apart from God, it is WIKE and NASIR EL RUFAI that made it Possible for Tinubu to become President today. WIKE is number one because he operated from a very difficult terrain. EL RUFAI operated from a very familiar terrain. I remembered vividly ABIOLA was very sad in 1993 that he lost RIVERS STATE despite winning in KANO the home State of TOFA his opponent. RIVERS STATE meant a lot to ABIOLA.

001 is the number reserved for the Party leader in the State. Before the 2023 election there was no faction in Rivers APC while BUHARI was in power . AMAECHI is the owner of RIVERS APC 001. During the second tenure of BUHARI from 2019 to 2023 Buhari had no opposition, not even ATIKU or PDP, all the opposition was against TINUBU even from within APC .

Before 2023 Presidential Election AMAECHI worked against Tinubu using RIVERS STATE APC. APC in Rivers addressed Press conference twice and made announcement on several media that WIKE was working to give Tinubu Rivers State Votes. APC making announcement against APC Presidential candidate. AMAECHI never campaigned and worked for APC Presidential candidate but was working for ATIKU's PDP. It was WIKE that employed thousands of people across Local Governments to work for Tinubu and FUBARA . If Tinubu can show gratitude to WIKE why shouldn't FUBARA show gratitude to his Destiny Helper.

Now that AMAECHI faction has moved to ADC, FUBARA being the Chief Financier of APC now in Rivers is the Party leader (001) but it must be done Diplomatically and with decency. Some people fought and invested heavily for the Party to be in power at the centre and for him to be the Governor.

The Genocide in Benue was clashes between FULANI and Benue Indigenes. The killings in Plateau were fighting between FULANI and the Plateau people. The same is applicable to what happened in Kaduna State. They are all Settlers and Native Indigenes clashes. Those who work with US Agencies in Nigeria and some Nigerians in US with Christian Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria manipulated the report as Christians killings in Nigeria.

What they have done doesn't solve the problem the problem is still there and in future will come back in full force to manipulate those who manipulated the foundation of the problem.

If you are using Starlink Internet Terminal and have joined different Starlink groups you would have observed many things about perfect environment being said about Developed Countries is false. There are places they have no electricity and no Internet Coverage except Satellite based Internet and Battery backup or alternative power system. There are situations Electricity Bill is very high and they have to use alternative power.

Tambuwal is doing Birthday Colloquium. This is a man that was supported to become a Speaker and was highly supported as a Speaker but betrayed the man that laboured so much for him for his tribal brother. He got 500 million naira Rivers State money from a man who thought there are friends who are closer than brothers but never knew a Nomadic politician doesn't read Bible, the only thing a Nomadic politician cares about is his Cattles (brothers) and he values them more than precious life (sacrificial friend). He was betrayed at last.

In all these, Tambuwal is far better than Doyin OKUPE and Baba Ayo Adebanjo.

The Director from the North explained that she doesn't need the NYSC degree to serve as Minister of Finance because precedent had been set by Obasanjo for Okonjo-Iweala which was also used by Jonathan in appointing her as Minister without NYSC Discharge Certificate. The issue was the sickness of BUHARI that made subsidy cabal to smuggle SARAKI is as the Senate President.

It wasn't an NYSC Certificate of Service. It was an NYSC Certificate of EXEMPTION. The Retired NYSC Director from your land said she wasn't qualified for exemption because she graduated before 30 years. Therefore NYSC will not issue her Certificate of Exemption. The man was still nursing the removal of Jonathan as President. The Senate that first observed it during screening should have removed it. NYSC confirmed she Applied for Certificate of EXEMPTION but they didn't reply her. The Senate President should have removed it during screening. NYSC Certificate is not an Academic Certificate. Buhari would have given her waiver as OBASANJO and Jonathan did for OKONJO-IWEALA but Senate held the forged certificate against her .

That is why the gods of the YORUBAS especially the gods of the IJEBUS didn't forgive Doyin Okupe and Baba Ayo Adebanjo for using their lives to fight for Peter OBI.
