Visit the agent, ask him to login to your profile and view it ?
Have you paid him ?

Yes , we apply through an agent. We call the agent yesterday and he said he is also checking it and that they have not respond yet

Also please if we contact them for enquiry through the link hope it won't affect their decision thanks.

Ashirioluwa:
At present, it takes almost 6 months to get a decision. You can send them a webform to inquire about the application

Good evening sir, please I just saw this post today and I have a question for you. Please how long does it take before Canada visitor visa is granted? The reason am asking is that my wife applied for it in August last year and did the biometric on 1st of September last year and till now we've not heard anything thank you.

The VO would think the 10M is for demonstration purpose looking at the nature of your job.

The only option you have now is to apply for reconsideration to see if it will work. Is the 10M still in your account? If yes, write an emotional letter telling them how your presence is important to your wife on her graduation because this is a day she had looked forward to and now she is emotionally down as a result of not having her family around her on this occasion. Attach your statement of account to this reconsideration letter.

To further demonstrate your sure return, you can tell them your son would be waiting back(i.e. withdrawing
his application) to at least ensure one person is around for your wife on her graduation day in order for her dream to be fulfilled.

Reconsideration is the last option but at the same time not guaranteed.

I just hope the date of the graduation is around late June because it will take at least 3 weeks from PPR to receiving your stamped passport.

This is my opinion.
