sholikay:
hmmmm.. obosi?...one of alaba market most powerful men... I could recall that, someone once narrated an incident where this same "obosi" ordered the whole alaba market or perhaps a particular market section, not to open their shop at a particular date.. he then brought a very expensive car that worth millions of naira to an open place in the same alaba market, then brought out a gun and then sprayed extreme amount of bullets into the car.. he threatened to shoot whosoever go against his order the same way he has done to the car.. (don't know if it is true incident)...

EducationRe: Incessant POLY/UNI Squabble on Nairaland: A Message To All Poly Students by Profkomolafe(m): 1:26pm On Jul 21, 2016
sammyscholar:
good to know you are an alumnus of my school.
I m proud of you bro . The way you and other learned colleagues represent us(the polytechnic, ibadan) ,especially at the debate section; slugging it out with the acclaimed superiors and Giving them a run for their superiority. A times, I tell myself that being a "GENIUS" is 70% inborn and 30% hard work. Kudos bro!
EducationRe: Incessant POLY/UNI Squabble on Nairaland: A Message To All Poly Students by Profkomolafe(m): 5:57pm On Jul 20, 2016
coolPROUDLY an alumnus of THE POLYTECHNIC, IBADAN. Despite countless opportunities that smiles at me on daily basis to pick up a d. E form, I won't, I will go back for my hnd. The disparity or rivalry that do happen between the duo Is a sign of immaturity. Being a genius is in you, not the institution you attended. Being prosperous in life is in you, not your school. Bringing this argument to table, I think I will only cause another trouble. Shalom!
EducationRe: Examination Questions For Law Students In UNIBEN(pic by Profkomolafe(m): 5:50pm On Jul 20, 2016
sammyscholar:
Course code: Jil 521. I presume they are 500 level students.

But, you see, the questions are not hard. But the trick is that you won't know/understand as an outsider. What the students just need to focus on are the key words; the answers to the questions were all what they have treated in class.

This is not new to us in The Polytechnic, Ibadan. I wonder what you guys will say when you see our questions. More reason why you need to stop deceiving yourselves that UNI is better than poly

bro, I concur with ur point. Using poly ibadan as an example drew me back to my ND 1 days @ poly ibadan. Then, I was to attempt sociology, psychology and other look alike courses under public administration dept. It wasn't funny the way the lecturers twisted the question to give me brain tumor. But, thank God I overcome it all.
PoliticsRe: Is What Abiola Complained About 22 Years Ago Playing Out Today? by Profkomolafe(m): 9:51am On Jul 20, 2016
JKisOK:
FOLLOWING ARE EXCERPTS FROM ABIOLA’S SPEECH ON THE DAY HE DECLARED HIS PRESIDENCY AT EPETEDO, LAGOS ISLAND, ON SATURDAY, JUNE 11, 1994:
“We are sickened to see people who have shown little or no personal achievement, either in building up private businesses, or making success of any tangible thing, being placed in charge of the management of our nation’s economy, by rulers who are not accountable to anyone. Enough of square pegs in round holes. We are tired of the military repetitive tendency to experiment with our economy: Today, they say “No Controls.” Tomorrow, they say “Full Controls.” The day after, they say “Fine Tuning.” The next day, they say “Devaluation.” A few days later, they say “Revalue the same Naira upwards again, abi?” All we can see are the consequences of this permanent game of military “about turns”: high inflation, a huge budget deficit and an enormous foreign debt repayment burden, dying industries, high unemployment and a demoralised populace. Our youths, in particular, can see no hope on the horizon, and many can only dream of escaping from our shores to join the brain drain. Is this the Nigeria we want?”
hmmmmm

Who cares! How does that remove the fact someone is being ask to come and clear his name. Anyone who thinks the President does not have the backing of most NASS member is just deceiving himself.

Whenever, this politician are being questioned, it becomes witch hunting. If it happened to a common man, it becomes democracy in action. Some poor amongst us are still fighting for the looters who never care about the common man. The same NASS was proposing a life pension and immunity themselves, when states and FG are finding it difficult to pay salaries.
