He scored high marks in his Physics and Mathematics subjects. It was while in elementary school in Germany that he had some problems with his learning. And that was due to the 'difficult' teaching method of the Germans. This is better understood when one considers the difficult relationship between the Jews and the Germans then: Albert being a Jew growing up in the Nazi Germany.
