The management of Core TV Station has
announced the temporary shutdown of the
station owing to the flood trigerred by the
release of water from the Oyan dam which
ravaged its headquarters.

The Managing Director and founder of the
station, Olajide Adediran, said the decision,
though a painful one, is designed to safeguard
the lives of its members of staff and the
station's multi million naira equipment from
further damage.

He urged the Ogun state government and
other stakeholders to find a lasting solution to
the issue of release of water from the Oyan
dam.

He assured the general public that the station
would bounce back better in the next few
days once the situation improves with the
flood water expected to recede in the coming
days.

THE MONKEYS & BABOONS WHO HATED A
FARMER!


There was once a big corn farm near a forest
infested with hundreds of monkeys & baboons.
These animals got their major food - the corn -
from the farm. However, they hated the farmer
passionately because most times he pursued them
from eating his corn. So they prayed that
something bad should happen to him. Their prayer
was answered one day when a lion attacked and
killed the farmer; they celebrated all night and
congratulated one another. They looked forward
to freedom. However, when the next corn season
came, THERE WAS NO CORN TO EAT BECAUSE
THE PLANTER & THEIR ENEMY- THE FARMER -
WAS DEAD!


Lessons:
1. In life, not everything that seems to hinder us is
a hindrance;


2. Not everyone who opposes us is an enemy;


3. Certain things we don't like around us might
have been put there by God to check us and to
bring out the best in us;


4. Be careful with seeking freedom; it could lead
to death;


5. The wind is the greatest hindrance to the
eagle's flight but without the wind, it can't fly!

IN THE HINDRANCE LIES THE KEY TO SUCCESS!
You can't change the circumstances. Don't desire
to kill all the enemies. THE REMOVAL OF THE
HINDRANCE MIGHT BE THE REMOVAL OF THE
CORN!
