michaelodafe:I suggest you tell us how many website Admin Assistant that you are hiring. I really don't understand what you meant by this: If you already interviewed and it’s been >7 days, a simple follow-up helps: - subject: "Website Admin Assistant — follow-up" - 2 lines: when you applied/interviewed + your availability And this: And for new applicants: keep your CV 1 page, highlight any admin/VA work + tools (WordPress, Google Docs/Sheets, Canva, Trello) + 1–2 outcomes It appears there's no real job here and you want to keep everyone in a forever loop or you are just catching fun with people's desperation to get a decent job for themselves. |

Hey everyone! I’m a DevOps enthusiast who’s just starting out in this fast-paced and exciting field. Over the past few months, I’ve been diving headfirst into DevOps tools, practices, and projects, and I wanted to share my journey so far. If you’re a fellow learner, a mentor, or someone looking for fresh talent, I hope this post gives you a sense of what I’ve been working on and where I’m headed. Why DevOps? For me, DevOps is all about solving problems and making things better. I love the idea of automating repetitive tasks, building scalable systems, and creating seamless workflows that help teams deliver value faster. It’s a field that’s constantly evolving, and that’s what makes it so exciting—there’s always something new to learn and explore. Projects I’ve Worked On Here’s a snapshot of the projects I’ve tackled to build my skills and gain hands-on experience: 1. Automated AWS Resource Management with Boto3 What I Did: I developed Python scripts using Boto3 to automate the creation, management, and deletion of AWS resources. This included spinning up EC2 instances, managing S3 buckets, and cleaning up unused resources. Why It Mattered: This project taught me how powerful automation can be in managing cloud infrastructure. By integrating these scripts into a CI/CD pipeline, I was able to streamline cloud resource management and reduce manual effort. 2. Automated CI/CD Pipeline for a Web Application What I Did: I built a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to automate the deployment of a web application. I configured Jenkins jobs to handle building, testing, and deploying code changes automatically. Why It Mattered: This project gave me a deeper understanding of how CI/CD pipelines work and how they can accelerate the software delivery process. It was incredibly satisfying to see code changes go from development to production seamlessly. 3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform What I Did: I created reusable Terraform scripts to provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS. This included automating the deployment of EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and VPCs. Why It Mattered: This project showed me the power of IaC. Writing code to define infrastructure made it easier to manage, replicate, and version-control my setups. It was a game-changer in how I think about infrastructure. 4. Kubernetes Cluster Setup and Application Deployment What I Did: I set up a multi-node Kubernetes cluster using Minikube and deployed a sample microservices application. I also managed pods, services, and deployments using YAML configuration files. Why It Mattered: This project gave me hands-on experience with container orchestration and helped me understand how Kubernetes can simplify the deployment and scaling of applications. 5. Configuration Management with Ansible What I Did: I automated server configuration and application deployment using Ansible playbooks. This included tasks like installing software, configuring services, and deploying applications across multiple servers. Why It Mattered: This project taught me how to manage infrastructure at scale using configuration management tools. It was amazing to see how Ansible could simplify complex tasks and ensure consistency across environments. What I’m Looking For As someone who’s just starting out, I’m eager to keep learning and growing. I’m looking for opportunities where I can contribute, whether it’s a full-time role, freelance projects, or even collaborating on open-source initiatives. I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and dive into new challenges—I thrive on them. Here’s what I bring to the table: - Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS. - A solid understanding of CI/CD, IaC, containerization, and configuration management. - A curious mind and a passion for solving problems. - A team player mindset—I love collaborating and learning from others. Let’s Connect! If you’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, passionate about DevOps, and ready to contribute, I’d love to hear from you! |
