PoliticsRe: Subsidy: Petrol Price Will Come Down, Says NNPC by Profwriter(m): 1:48pm On Jun 01, 2023
Vision101:
@LeoDeKing
Competition will force down the price, yet you pegged the price, total bullshit.

Truly, removal of subsidy is synonymous to liberalisation of the industry, but then, why fixing prices?

Besides, Petroleum marketers have association, that is the where a price is fixed. Any marketer who sells in defiance to the agreed price will be sanctioned.

So stop the dogshit of prices coming down on account of any imaginary competition.

@me
Nnpc didn't peg any price. Nnpc fixed their retail economic price. Any marketer is at liberty to fix their own economic price either lower or higher.

If you want to buy fuel now you have to shop around for the lowest price. No regulated price anymore.
You must be related to lai Muhammed
PoliticsRe: Subsidy: Petrol Price Will Come Down, Says NNPC by Profwriter(m): 1:46pm On Jun 01, 2023
Dotherightthing:
To the dulllaarrds asking "Why fix price?"

NNPC have the right to put a price on their product.

And it can change from time to time.

Every other player is free to fix their own price.
Why have you decided to be unfortunate?
NNPC is the sole importer of fuel.
Your education is a waste

Prices will come down

It happened with the GSM sector. SIM cards were expensive in 2001. So expensive that as a student, I laughed when someone like V -mobile came advertising with their then N20000 package. (Just the sim).

Now, thanks to competiton, the prices of a SIM are so low, I've gone through over 5 of them in the last 14 years. Lol.

The same thing will happen with fuel...but it won't be below 200 naira anymore. That ship has sailed.
Your education is a waste
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Removal: Fuelling Your Car by Profwriter(m): 12:25am On Jun 01, 2023
Easy. Subsidy means that the refineries basically operate at a loss...which means they do not have enough profit to produce fuel right.

I'm speechless, did you just say this?
Have you been drinking for a while?

How many times have your government removed subsidy?
Over 6 times now between 2015 to 2022.

Anytime they want to hike the cost of fuel, they will introduce the word 'subsidy' and make empty promises of what the money they claimed to save from subsidy payments will be used for.

The poor performance of the refineries is caused by who?

So it's cheaper to import fuel than to refine it in your land, those who refine and sell to you do they have two heads?

Why do you decide to be unfortunate and make mockery of the pains of Nigerians?

Are you from the tribe of lai Muhammed?

Google will help you with list of countries that are still subsidising certain cost for their citizens and they are doing well than Nigeria.

Can you tell why nnpc is the sole importer of fuel?
Keep misleading the public with lies.

It's possible you are even a beneficiary of the system.

It's on record that subsidy payment has been made for June, yet your master removed it in May instead of you to do the right thing and uphold truth, you a disseminating and peddling lies and falsehood.

God will judge you
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Removal: Fuelling Your Car by Profwriter(m): 5:28pm On May 31, 2023
nairalanda1:
Yeah, we can do total revolution, and take over the country, and return fuel to N50 a liter....and by the time we are facing the massive budget deficit and debt five years later from cheap fuel, on top of other matters, we would wake up and remove subsidy....for good.
You should be ashamed of yourself for spewing this trash, why are you so heartless and passionate in distorting facts and truth?

Can you explain why your government owned refineries are not working?

What kind of government sells crude oil and imports fuel, one of the many products of refined crude oil and sell it to its citizens.

You are on of the problems Nigeria has

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I will prefer the federal government ban Easter and Xmas celebrations. Those holidays has outlived their usefulness and I consider it as a mere distraction from issues of national importance. If Israeli government is considering banning mentioning the name of our lord Jesus in their country, I think the FG needs to ban certain things out of our Christian doctrines sad
You should be ashamed of yourself.

AutosRe: Why Buy A Car When You Can Lease One by Profwriter(m): 12:21am On Jan 20, 2023
NemekGee:
Why would i want to buy a car when i can lease one and spread payments over the year(s).whatever the car, as long as its a brand new car, u chose it, we finance it and u spread payment across the board(from 12 to 48 months). I advise everyone to take advantage of this and raise ur status. its called making use of leverage. Here are some advantages of buying against leasing

Lower cost - Leasing conserves capital. Monthly lease payments are less than monthly purchase payments or monthly depreciation plus interest expense.

Flexibility - Payments can be matched to budgetary levels. Your business conditions - cash flow, equipment needs and tax situation - help define the terms of your lease.

Convenience - Leasing provides on-the-spot, one-stop financing for a total solution. Hardware, software, maintenance and asset management can be included in the lease.

It's easy - Leasing typically requires less documentation than bank financing and fewer internal approvals than a capital purchase.

Ownership - You can own the asset at the end of the lease

Protection against obsolescence - The lease can be structured to include upgrades and partial or complete equipment swaps either at mid-term or at lease-end.

Eliminates risk – The Lessor bears the risk through the period of the lease

Provides for off balance sheet financing - This potentially increases your borrowing capacity while easing the budgeting process and preserving key financial ratios.

Protects against inflation - Aggressive fixed-rate pricing allows for protection against inflation whereas variable-rate leases let you take advantage of falling interest rates.

Ability to customize payment schedules

Lease payments are fixed

Improved return on assets (ROA)

Lease rental payments are made from pre-tax rather than after-tax earnings

Leasing reduces your administrative cost

Leasing provides 100% Financing.

God bless you.

We don't really need to fight over this, neither do you have to respond harshly, we are not quarrelling.

If there's anything you can do to improve our salary package, you are very much welcome to do it.

We don't want to owe salaries and we don't want to promise what we can't afford, our salaries comes from the revenue generated from the school and our fees are low because it's situated among low income earners.

We are doing everything to improve our salary structure but that's all we can afford to pay for now and you are welcome to support us.

Thanks.
