PoliticsRe: Us Governance Report | Corruption: $4.2 Billion Missing In Nnpc Under Buhari by Profwriter(m): 6:08pm On Apr 01, 2016
Remii:
if this is true, I don't we will help ourselves by blaming Buhari, I think we just have endemically corrupt people and we all need to help Buhari by condemning them not expect Buhari to be everywhere, the report never said Buhari told them to do what they are doing, we are in democracy, he can't sack or jail people by fiat, he cannot sack everyone either. Stolen money doesn't belong to him alone.
enough of this shit. Nigeria cannt move forward with this trash. Who is the minister of pectroleum? I thought he took the office so that money wont be missing.

It is good for us all as Nigerians to condemn evil in other to move this country forward. Instead of condemning evil, u are blaming who? GEJ?
That is pathetic. GEJ started work, Buhari canceal work, who is to blame? Sick!
that is why we need a national policy on development, so that whoever gets into power will act on it. Enough of abandonned projects

I speak because I'm a Nigerian.
I speak because I belive we are were we are not supposed to be as a nation.
I speak because it is my civic right to contribute to the development of Nigeria, under a democratic system.
I speak because many of youths are wasting away, many perishing in the sea just because they want to cross over to europe for greener pastures.
I speak because Nigerians are not very much proud to be Nigerians even on Nigerian soil-many now wish to be prisoners in western countries than live in Nigeria as free citizens.

What is responsible for this?

Arise Oh Compatriots and demand for thy country. The youths are the leaders of tomorrow, let the tomorrow be now. Enough of lame excuses. Nigeria needs a national policy on development. Who can tell me where this country will be in the next ten years in terms of development? Enough of the directionlessness,
Enough of the visionlessness.
Let Nigeria be truely led by those who have sincere interest in leading her. We may not be able to hold the political offices of influence, but with one voice we can determine how we can be govern. Over fifty years of independence, we are still struggling and crawling as a nation.

Fellow Nigerians lets join hands to build our nation, away with party manifestoes, let there be a plan for development that must be followed by any one who gets into power.

who is in a hurry to save this nation, lets have a parliament where you too can speak and your voice we be heard. Are you a technocrat? A creative thinker? A lawyer? A business man? A scientist?

Whatever and whoever and wherever you may be, as a Nigerian, we only have one country and that is Nigeria. I want to add you up to a whatsapp group, we must together save Nigeria. The labour of our heros past shall not be in vain.

I belive the yearnings of every true Nigeria, irrespective of tribe or religion is a better country. And a better country we must have.

Which money do you want use to execute the projects? Your answer to this will point to your true identity.
what makes you think there is no money in Nigeria? Lets unite brother, and save Nigeria for our childrens children.
If you think there is no money, then why are there records of violence and death during elections?
Why are politicians ready to do anything to get power?
Is it because they love our country, or an avennue to enrich themselves. Is Nigeria no longer making money from oil, gas, gold etc. What about tax payers money? How come those that scream the treasury is empty have are living in luxury, do they get special funds from world bank for being political holders in Nigeria? Or are they spending their personal money.

OP this topic is best discussed another day. The system has been mismanaged and the govt is struggling to pay salaries of unproductive workers who av the support of the constitution. Anybody who didn't deem it fit to ask for projects when there was upsurge in oil income and can't wait for the next one is a diguising wailer.
If u r truly passionate about Nigeria, and not discreding the performing govt of the present, then demand that looters return fund for project not executed.
Agreed the system has been mismanaged due to directionlessness of the government past or present. I am not here to analyse the performance of this present government, I am simply here to profer a long term solution that will be beneficial to our children's children -and that can be made possible when we have a definte direction of purpose. A national policy, a man that has no direction will go nowhere, hence the stagnation we are experincing.
With due respect, can you tell me where Nigeria will be among the community of nations in the next 20years? Who do you explain the numerous abandoned projects scattered across the country affter millions of dollars has been spent on it.
We need a national policy on development in all sectors, we must have a direction if we must move forward.

One thing am sure of is that Nigeria will still be a country we will be proud of.
Yes we can, thats why we must act now. Enough of unrealistic party manifestos. Let those with creative minds come together and draft out a national policy, that will guide whoever comes to power be it party XYZ. We must have a direction in science, economy, technology, education.

I weep whenever i see whitemen constructing our roads, and we have professors in engineering departments in different universities in NIGERIA. If we cant do it ourselves, then something is wrong and it has to be corrected.

I am a young concerned Nigerian, although i'm not a politician, just a life scientist. But i'm saddened with the current state of the nation -with so many abandoned and half done projects by different governments. There is need for a national policy on development, so that who ever comes into power, be it APC, PDP, KOWA etc, will act on the already designed plan for development. Its high time the youths decide the future. We can no longer stomach this abominations and violent rape on our nation. Fellow Nigerians lets come together and champion this cause, we are tired of unrealistic party manifestos. We need a national policy, that is achieveable, drafted by people with visions for the future to give us direction from this quagmire to an enviable heights, were Nigerians will be proud to be Nigerians.
Please NL Mod, help publicise this #saveNigeria.

We may have known some persons personally whose lives have been affected by HIV and cancer. I have an untested hypothesis on how this diseases can be treated. I desire a sponsor
I studied biochemistry, a graduate of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo state. Nigeria.
I first saw the possibility of treating this deadly disease when i was in 200level in the university, during a lecture on enzymology. Ever since, I have been passionate about it, although i have given up on this idea several times due to lack of fund, but it kept coming, and i know this will be a blessing to our world and generation when my hpothesis are proven, tested and accepted.
Every disease has its cure. Remenber malaria was once a deadly disease many years ago until its remedy was found.
Lets make history now!
My first approved discovery shall be dedicated to God, author of wisdom, the second one shall be named after my sponsor.

It is possible,

Yes! Lets make it work
I hope to hear from someone today.

If APC goes rogue, they'll self destruct and their successors will expose, deal with them and recover whatever they steal...

Eventually the Nigerian big man will learn to be circumspect in his behavior.

The way I see it, its a win win for Nigeria and Nigerians
how is it a win win for Nigeria, if there successors go probing there predecessors, isnt that 20years backwardness, let the oposition stay rather than cripple it, it will aid development. Ever since buhari came, what has he achieved, all these arrests rearrest are designed to divert the attention of Nigerians from their pains to the wind.

The man also mentioned femi and buhari, why did efcc didnt go after them?

Brother don't mind the fools called Buhari and all APC supporters. They forge bribery allegations against their enemies, use EFCC to arrest and charge them to court, court finds EFCC's allegation baseless and release them, Dictator Buhari orders for their re-arrest and forge another allegation. Buhari is on revenge mission using EFCC to bring opposition down. Remember what Abacha did and what happened to him
some Nigerians are just too blind to see the truth. The thieves in APc are moving free, there colleagues in PDP are behind the bar, and some elements are happy.
Why have they not arrested femi and buhari.

I'll keep saying this to the mischievous, unintelligent, dishonest folks among us that these arrests are linked to a particular case. You guys keep talking like they're just picking up PDP members randomly. None of these guys have actually denied the money being traced to them, the most they've done is deny knowledge of its source. If an APC guy is linked to this particular case and he's not being prosecuted, then please by all means shout from the rooftops. When Buhari came in, two things he said he'll have to look at are the rot in the NNPC and the reason our army has been so ineffective in dealing decisively with Boko Haram which is exactly what he's doing. When investigations in NNPC start to go down, I'm not even sure what some of you will do because the can of worms that will open will be unimaginable
since the money for arms was stolen by last administration, what is holding him from purchasing new arms for the army. Incase you dont know, all that the military are using today were purchased by the last administration.
