Politics › Re: Buhari Must Use Force To Destroy The Niger Delta Avengers, Not Dialogue by Progressive01(m): 11:03pm On May 27, 2016
QuotaSystem:
President Buhari is exhausting all peaceful options to protect himself and his government from appearing to take the option of brute force by default, especially as the President is from a different region.

If you ask me, I'm in full support of this tactical approach; offer them everything except what they want and let them brag, make noise and continue bombing to the world's ears. I expect the government to start globally publicising the damage that the NDA are doing to the Nigerian economy and their people's lands and livelihood so as to earn some sympathy, before deploying the full and final force which is necessary to flatten them.

Already, we have a spokesman's name for the 'faceless' group in less than a week, so the strategy is working. Give them room to gloat themselves into their own destruction, pride has always come before a damned fall.

The strategy is working, exercise a little patience. This is Buhari.

Politics › Re: Fayose Stops His Convoy & Joins Aregbesola On Inspection Of Trumpet Bridge(Pics by Progressive01(m): 10:17pm On May 27, 2016
So first time Fayose is spotted close to any real project, it was just to "escort" another governor on an inspection tour of his own project- ironically, a governor they claim is the worst in the SW.

What a pity.

Fayose is just desperate for friends knowing his game is over and people have now seen through his porous gimmicks.

Politics › Re: When Will Fayose Resign As The Governor Of Ekiti State? by Progressive01(m): 9:59am On May 27, 2016
seunmsg:
At the height of the salary crisis in Osun and other states last year, the Nigerian governors forum proposed a reduction in workforce to enable state governors keep up with their obligations to state workers.

Governor Ayo Fayose rubbished the proposal and told his fellow governors who are owing workers salaries to resign from office. He scored a very big political point with that statement and even the NGF backpedaled and abandoned the proposal.

Today, the Ekiti state civil servants are on strike as a result of the failure of Fayose to pay state workers for five straight months.
So, when will Fayose resign from office?
This is a poisoned arrow right through the left ventricle of the Ugandans and their hero!!

Make no mistakes fellas, we are all bias when it comes to politics, almost hypocritical, but one thing I would NEVER do is lift a finger of protest against any call for probing, arresting, or prosecuting a politician accused of corruption knowing fully well just about 100% of public officials must have "helped themselves" one way or another.

If Baba leaves today and whoever succeeds him decides to arrest and probe him, I'd be damned if I protested, ditto anyone who worked under him.

Let APC witch hunt PDP, when PDP succeeds someday, let them witch hunt APC!! What is certain from this sort of witch hunting is that the ordinary citizens would benefit from it as officials would become skittish about helping themselves to the public purse for fear of being witch hunted after exiting office.

That's my opinion- you may disagree though.

...Saro-Wiwa were killed are the same issues the Avengers are raising.

“There are no Avengers anywhere. Settle these issues and the avengers would fizzle away.
In just four sentences, this lazy bugger contradicted himself three times!! Was he drunk or somethinghuh

A lot of people don't understand how statements such as this come about- here's how: they wrote a letter to the ex-president telling him of the forthcoming event and asked for his "support" and sponsorship. Next, they get an "alert" followed by a mail "instructing" them of what to say regarding the sponsor, and then we read same on the pages of our dailies. If you were into students unionism back in the uni, you'd understand what I'm saying.

Watch how the Ugandans come mess up this thread with their utterly useless twaddle, leaving one to wonder if they always wake up leaving their brains behind in a dream.

Politics › Re: PDP BOT Unites Mantu And Markafi Groups, To Meet Sheriff by Progressive01(m): 10:58pm On May 26, 2016
It was another day of uncontrolled temper and rancour as PDP Concerned Group met with the BoT to resolve the bickering and lingering crises threatening to rip the one-time indefatigable behemoth to shreds.

Chairs and fists flew in all direction as some aged members scurried to safety behind security officials whose prompt arrival averted what would have been a no-holds-barred Royal Rumble. Those who weren't lucky enough sustained various degrees of injuries and were quickly rushed to the hospital where they were quickly attended to.

The meeting which took place at the behest of Mantu ended up achieving the exact opposite of what it was meant to as the yawning crack between pro and anti Sheriff forces appeared to have been widened even further. There's no gainsaying very perilous times lie ahead for a party that seeks to retake power at the center in 2019.

Whenever he decides to cut tapes, it is always done under low light conditions in the dead of the night. Only witches attend the commissioning of his own projects.
