Almajiri1:
We now understand that 2018 is the delivery date by APC. People should brace up cos the birth pains persists till 2018.
Oh well, it is refreshing knowing they'd give birth in 2018. Under PDP, we were in labour for 16 years and when they eventually gave birth, it was a stillborn.

Travel › Re: Enugu Airport Runway Death Trap - MD. OAS Helicopters by Progressive01(m): 11:27pm On Apr 23, 2016
Dollyak:
Federal Government needs to invest in the east. It is really unfair and short-sighted to keep prioritising the unproductive core Northern states over every other region. Apparently, Ibadan Airport is being left to rot as well while Kaduna is getting upgrades. In terms of Economic potential, Enugu should get priority over all Northern states bar Kano while OYO should get priority over all Northern states.

Nigeria needs to do away with the misplaced priorities mostly fuelled by tribalism.
Hypocrisy has NEVER been so obvious.

#Spits.

This is totally unacceptable, government should rise up to the challenge and arrest the culprits and compel them to remedy this blatant fraud committed against the Nigerian nation; the people of the South East and Federal Airport
Authority of Nigeria.
You want the government to hold the people responsible to account so some jobless miscreants would print banners and take to the street, blocking the Niger bridge in protest against the persecution of their illustrious daughter by the intolerant FG?? Nah, not gonna happen!
Politics › Re: Bayelsa Economy Collapses: Eyewitness Account By Visiting Journalist by Progressive01(m): 11:11pm On Apr 23, 2016
The meddlesome albino twitter claptrap is more interested in what is happening in far away Osun than what goes on in his bedroom.

The problem with Bayelsa is that there are just too many political godfathers interested in the scarce resources of the state. When you are done "settling'' these men, there is hardly anything left to execute any tangible developmental project.

Such an unfortunate scenario.
Politics › Re: Fayose Should Apologise Over China Letter - Ekiti Youths by Progressive01(m):
Fayose is simply acting true to type. What do we really expect from a man who:

1. Detained his father's corpse, putting his burial on hold??

2. Told the world his mother's got a leaky bumbum??

That man is a quasi mental patient.

Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen Raid Taraba Communities, Kill 13 by Progressive01(m): 7:11am On Apr 23, 2016
Who's purpose is the press serving?? What is their aim really?? Why do we always see headlines of atrocities of suspected Fulani herdsmen while we never read about the incidents that precipitate those attacks. Even when they are stated, it is always done in such a manner it escapes the reader's attention- they are embedded in one single line in a distant paragraph after the reader's mind must have been twisted in preceding paragraphs that it was an unprovoked attack!

Just look at this case for example: the incident which supposedly resulted in this "reprisal" was a robbery incident but that never made headline anywhere and even in this story, it was stated as though it didn't matter.

In the other incident reported to have taken place in Benue which claimed the life of an APC youth leader, the attack was a reprisal over the death of two Fulani men after they were attacked and their cattle rustled a couple of days earlier- the incident never made headline anywhere but was only stated in passing in a story whose headline read "Fulani herdsmen kill APC youth leader in Benue state"

Yesterday, a court upheld the death sentence of someone who killed a Fulani man and vanguard carried a screaming headline man to die for killing a Fulani man as though his sentence would have been less severe had the person he killed not been a Fulani man!! We never read any story anywhere reporting the murder incident!!

Time will tell.

modath:
How? You expect the FG to appoint caretakers for them or what exactly was the FG supposed to do?
I just don't understand how these people's brains function. Very soon, we'd have people blaming the FG for their wives forgetting to add salt to her soup.

Ironically, these are same set of people that saw no wrong whatsoever in all the Ineffectual Buffoon did while in office. They blamed all his failing on those who worked with him as they blame the governors for NOI terrible outing.

I feel so irritated whenever I hear/read the words juicy committees/ministries. If one's desire is strictly to serve the people, why would they give a damn about any "juice"??

Anyone talking about juicy this or that is simply out to do nothing but steal.

Saraki can buy all the opinion he likes and rent all the protesters he pleases, but in the end, none of what they do will matter- judgement will be passed based on the facts of the case as presented before Umar at the tribunal.

A case for which he's been cleared since march 2015 is what these pricks are still holding unto for Saraki's escape from justice.

What a damn pity.

tit:
[s]You remember when Fashola was dragging with Iweallah to approve foreign loan for him?
and iweallah refuse.

Now you see, states cannot pay their debt again.
if you are owing government money in Nigeria, sorry.
No money for you.
Buhari has refuse to pay creditors their money.

Buhari has refuse to obey court order again because some of these creditors use court order to ensure that government pay them.
Now creditors will not borrow Nigeria government any money again because you can never see the money again.
buhari, fashola, osinbanjo, and amaechi will eat the money.
the result is that nigeria credit rating will crash down like buhari rating.

if before people can borrow you money at 5%, now they will say you must pay 25%
And it is the poor man in the street that will suffer for another buhari dull decision.
i sorry for the people of the State of Osun.

Giving states more bail out is like waste of
resources. What this translate to is more cash in
the hands of the few privilege politicians. The
rate at which these funds are being diverted is
alarming and federal government is not
concerned. Look at osun state for instance,
workers are still being owed up to six months
while medical doctors have not collected salary
since september, 2015. We need proactive
government not these parasites we have on ground
You are a shameless liar. Osun state isn't owing workers.

What the fvck is this !!!huh
Is the fulani man not a nigerian ?
we all know murder means death sentence
The fact there are bandit amongst the fulanis doesn't mean every fulani man is evil !!!!

You don't expect me to refer to every ND man as a militant !!

The headline should be changed please !
Stop dividing us for fvck sake!
This is just how perverted the mind of the average Nigerian has become. I wanted to believe the Op coined that title but seeing it came from thisday itself, I almost threw up in disgust!

What's the point adding a "fulani man" to the title. It was a murder that was committed- since when do tribes matter??

When reverend King was sentenced to death, were the tribes of those he killed or molested stated as a point of note??

When Ibinabo was sentenced to death, was tribe taken into account??

Why do they have to tell us this time it was a fulani man that was murdered as though he was sentenced to death because the victim is a fulani manhuh

This terrible journalism.
