Bwala is a natural fool. But it doesn't change the accuracy of what he said here and this has always been the issue. All blames goes to Tinubu without the governors receiving any. See how much he is releasing to governors today and the LGAs. Governors will embezzle everything together. Woe unto them. |

The summary is : make money and be influential in Nigeria otherwise you're a toast.
See how fast the police was able to solve this case because the victims are related to an influential political figure.
Now, think about how many days those kids and teachers have been in captive and yet, no concrete action or assurance from the police that they'll be rescued.
Find a way and be influential in Nigeria, that's how you get justice. |

crazygod: I don't personally know her but walahi, I really hate her. It's not even a strong word for what I feel for this woman. She behaves like someone that has not given birth before. She should be at the forefront of finding ways to get those kidnapped kids back to their family. But she's behaving in an unbothered and insensitive way. It is well. Omo I've never seen this level of foolery before. No single sympathy or empathy. Just politics and power. |

His biggest mistake was decamping to APC. If I'm him, I'll move to NDC and fight to finish. Rivers people can see through the wickedness of the Wiked man and I'm sure with vote Fubara no matter his party. Cos what do you mean Obio Akpor will provide governor twice and others can't complete their own 8 years?
Those ethnics closer to the Atlantic should rise and defend Fubara. They're the reason Rivers state is called Rivers state and one man from the mainland should not decide their fate and future unchallenged.
Fubara, if you can see this, this is your sign to move to NDC. Obi wave will only apply to you. |

Lionessza6: AfCFTA policies cannot be drafted or improvised at one country’s border post because a wealthy businessman arrived with expired documents.
If African countries want broader visa-free movement for investors, business leaders, and ordinary Africans, then that must happen through formal continental agreements, reciprocal policies, proper institutions, and legal frameworks . . not through emotional pressure on immigration officers to ignore existing rules on the spot. Have you seen AfCFTA's trade policy document? Make it make sense that an African is denied entrance and a foreigner is granted access, even though both of them doesn't have visa. |

I know some people here don't reason, their stock in trade is maligning Nigerians as if they could do better.
AfCFTA's mandate is to ensure that there's free flow of trades across Africa. And someone like Alhaji who's part of it and an integral investor across West Africa deserves better. It's foolishness to deny a fellow African entry who came to invest his money and then allow a European tourist without visa. What's the value of the tourist visit compared to the economic impact of a billionaire's investment? |

Politics › Re: Justice Crack Denies Sowore's Lawyer, M. Abubakar As Clash Ensues In Court by promami: 10:11am On May 15 |
ElevationD: Clearly you did not read. And even if you read, you would have had better understanding.
For clarity, note what transpired:
1. Abubakar who was commissioned by Sowore and consented by Justice Crack had been appearing on his behalf.
2. When Crack was declared missing by his family, human rights activists, including the same Sowore and his lawyer took it upon themselves to track him down to the military authorities.
3. Barrister Abdullahi followed up with the case from day one and raised the bail application originally.
4. The family watched all through and probably thought of changing the lawyer. Their reasons are up to them and Justice Crack.
5. Barrister Balogun would have been briefed by his family about the situation in the court. Rather than make his enquiries with Barrister Abubakar, Balogun chose to ambush him when the case was called up. Balogun presented himself as the lawyer based on the brief by the family of Justice Crack.
6. Not wanting to engage in unnecessary arguments with the “na me be the lawyer” Mr. Balogun, Sowore’s lawyer chose to withdraw his application and all processes that he had previously filed.
7. The same Justice Crack who would probably have gone home either yesterday or today, was returned to detention until the 18th of May.
8. How would Sowore’s lawyer discern or work with Mr. Balogun, when Mr. Abubakar was not previously informed about the decision that they had taken? How would he work with Mr. Balogun, when it was very clear that they had ambushed him?
Having to identify his preferred lawyer between the two, without respectfully notifying Sowore and Abubakar, clearly showed Justice Crack and his family as either ungrateful or non challant people. This is one of the most foolish things I've seen recently. A lawyer applied for your bail and a judge is about to hear it and make it decision same day and you foolishly denied same lawyer and now the case is adjourned so that the new lawyer can start his own processes. This is stupidity. It's just that Sowore won't still give up. He'll keep supporting the guy. |

Refinedbeing: GEJ/OBi will only get to share traditional PDP states in the South. PBAT will still win his SW. The only big difference between Obi and GEJ is that GEJ will have more vote in the core north and that might give PBAT some lil issue South East will align towards GEJ than Obi. GEJ has good support from the north. The West would rather support GEJ than Obi because of his online mob. GEJ is the only person who can alter this coming election and win easily. He just needed to appeal to the youths and make them a strong offer. A youth chief of staff and speaker of the house. |

Eriokanmi: Where will he win tinubu ? Check the electoral map of 2011. Gej's winning votes came from the south and middle belt. Don't forget we, the south west voted him too as our consensus candidate. I was supporting AC then. Tinubu will be on the ballot and south west will be shared, north too. As it stands and given the momentum of the day, only Peter obi stands a better chance of challenging tinubu and the reason his supporters had been drooling over obi's matter.
Jonathan's government was riddled with massive corruption and the reason Nigerians voted him out. Don't forget that. He was clueless and weak. He was just lucky ni. I'd rather vote tinubu than vote Jonathan. Ok is our mandate North will vote massively for GEJ. They saw his reforms and the impact it made except that they allowed greedy politicians to deceive them. Obi doesn't have the kind of reach GEJ has in the North. GEJ was very tolerant and tried to please everyone and that's what the North wants. |
