PhonesTecno Pova 5g Phone’s Renders & Specifications Leaked Before Launch by Promotexx(op): 11:50am On Nov 22, 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNTJdc78MVM

The Tecno Pova 5G smartphone’s renders with key specifications have surfaced online, ahead of an official unveiling. The word on the street is that Tecno Mobile is on the verge of launching the Tecno Pova Neo smartphone. If new shreds of information are anything to go by, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer is also gearing up for the launch of its first 5G-enabled handset. Furthermore, the company’s maiden 5G phone will be carrying the Tecno Pova 5G moniker.

Tecno will be making its foray into the 5G segment with the budget Tecno Pova 5G smartphone. To recall, the company brought its Tecno Pova 2 smartphone into the Indian market back in August this year. The phone succeeds the well-received Tecno Pova, which went official in China in 2020. The Pova series comprises gaming smartphones that have huge batteries. With a 6000mAh battery, the Tecno Pova 5G seems to adopt the same strategy.

The upcoming Tecno Pova 5G smartphone will sport a mammoth 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel that provides a Full HD+ resolution. This piece of information comes from the YouTube channel, Tech Arena24. Furthermore, the Tecno Pova 5G official renders suggest that the smartphone will sport a punch-hole design in the center of the display. Aside from that, it will have a thick bezel at the bottom. The fingerprint scanner is available on the side edge for secure biometric authentication. The rear panel houses a rectangular camera module.

The 5G-ready smartphone is likely to feature three rear-mounted cameras. These include a 50MP main camera. Moreover, the Tecno Pova 5G will feature a quad-LED flash unit. Regrettably, details about the other sensors and the front shooter are still scarce. Nevertheless, the renders show that the right side will accommodate the volume and power buttons. The power key also serves as a fingerprint scanner. The video gives us a glimpse of the phone’s Aether Black color option. More color options are likely to be announced at the launch event.

The 5G-ready Tecno Pova smartphone will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC under the hood. Furthermore, the phone will ship with 8GB of RAM and offer 128GB of onboard storage capacity. On the software front, the Tecno Pova 5G will run the Android 11 operating system. It will draw its juices from a robust 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The phone offers multiple options for connectivity such as a Type-C port, a headphone jack, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi.

Despite the lack of an official confirmation, the Tecno Pova 5G smartphone is expected to retail for around $280 to $300 (about INR 20,800 to INR 22,300). However, the exact pricing and availability details will be divulged during the launch event. The Tecno Pova 5G is likely to compete with the Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone in India and a few other regions. It is likely to hit the store shelves in Africa in December.

PhonesDimensity 9000 Beats Apple Iphone 13's A15 Chip. by Promotexx(op): 9:29pm On Nov 21, 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRpDG5v35VA

MediaTek supplies its chips to a number of Android smartphone makers. But we should note that the company’s high-end products have never reached the level of the Qualcomm Snapdragon series ever. However, MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9000 may eventually change this story.

MediaTek's new Dimensity 9000 processor is way ahead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Throwing down the gauntlet for whatever Qualcomm does in two weeks. pic.twitter.com/sQbJ5tSmJs

— Sascha Segan (@saschasegan) November 18, 2021

MediaTek claims that the Dimensity 9000 chip’s multi-core performance is comparable to the Apple iPhone 13 A15 chip. Moreover, its overall performance is 35% better than that of the Snapdragon 888.

At an event held by the company earlier this week, MediaTek released the Dimensity 9000. It is the company’s most powerful chip to date. The chip’s performance will be about 35% faster than the Snapdragon 888. Plus, its graphics performance will exceed that of the Snapdragon 888 by 35%.

The architecture of the Dimensity 9000 is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. It uses the Cortex-X2 core with a main frequency of 3.05GHz. Apart from this, there are three Cortex-A710 cores with the main frequency of 2.85GHz as well as four Cortex-A510 cores with the main frequency of 1.8 GHz. The Mali-G710 GPU comes with ten cores. The APU consists of four performance cores and two flexible cores.

In order to further improve the functions of the chip, the image signal processor is a 7th generation 18-bit Imagiq ISP. The latter can capture 320MP images and transmit data at a speed of 9 billion pixels per second. The onboard modem supports 5G networks. But it only supports a sub-6GHz standard, not a millimeter-wave. This means that the chip is likely not to be used in the United States. As you should be aware, the major US operators are very concerned about the millimeter-wave 5G standard. Anyway, our protagonist also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E.

Now, when we know everything about this chip, let’s see how it performs in the benchmark. MediaTek said that the Dimensity 9000’s multi-core score is roughly equivalent to Apple iPhone 13’s A15. In general, it gets more than 4000 points. However, MediaTek did not disclose the comparison with other aspects of Apple’s chips. Generally speaking, Apple’s chips are often much more powerful than other mobile chips.

In terms of artificial intelligence, MediaTek claims that the Dimensity 9000 chip beats the Google Tensor chip as well. The Tensor has shown that it has the strongest artificial intelligence performance on mobile chips. However, MediaTek claims that Dimensity 9000 AI performance will exceed Tensor by approximately 16% and exceed Apple’s latest chip by as much as 66%.

PhonesMediatek Created New (4nm) Powerful Chip To Take On Snapdragon And Apple by Promotexx(op): 4:02am On Nov 19, 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRpDG5v35VA

MediaTek has just announced its latest flagship processor: the Dimensity 9000, the company’s most powerful chip ever that looks like it should be able to go head to head with the best chips that more popular competitors like Qualcomm and Samsung offer.

Where previous top-tier Dimensity chips (like last year’s Dimensity 1000) were still less powerful than contemporaries like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 or Samsung’s Exynos 2100, the new Dimensity 9000 is coming out of the gate to make a case for 2022 Android flagships.

The new Dimensity 9000 is the first mobile chip to be built on TSMC’s 4nm process, in addition to using Arm’s new v9 architecture. It’s also the first announcement CPU to use Arm’s new core designs: a single Cortex-X2 performance core clocked at 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. The GPU, meanwhile, is a 10-core Arm Mali-G710, along with MediaTek’s fifth-generation APU with six total cores for AI processing (which the company says offers four times the performance and power efficiency compared to its previous generation).

The new 18-bit Imagiq Gen 7 ISP claims to be the world’s first chip to be capable of capturing a 320-megapixel image (assuming your phone has a sensor that can shoot at that level), capable of transferring data at 9 gigapixels per second.

As one might expect for a modern smartphone chip, the Dimensity 9000 offers an onboard 5G modem with support for the 3GPP’s Release 16 specification. Notably, though, the new chip still lags behind competitors by only offering built-in sub-6GHz 5G support, without the faster mmWave standard. The Dimensity 9000 does claim to be the first smartphone to support Bluetooth 5.3 and will work with Wi-Fi 6E, too.

It’s likely that MediaTek won’t be alone for long when it comes to using the latest Arm technologies — Qualcomm, for example, is widely expected to announce a successor to its Snapdragon 888 chipset at its annual Snapdragon Tech Summit on November 30th. But even if MediaTek finds that the Dimensity 9000 is merely in the same weight class as whatever Qualcomm announces this year, instead of a leap ahead, that’s a big win for MediaTek, which has largely lagged behind until now.

MediaTek has long been an also-ran when it comes to major Android devices, but the Dimensity 9000 shows that it’s finally looking to really compete. The question now is whether phone manufacturers are ready to join it.

This article should have included at least some comparisons to the Apple A-series in the latest iPhones, if not the M-series in the latest iPads. It’s interesting to compare Apple’s integrated "chip+OS" design for performance and particularly performance/watt to the silicon vendors that feed Android system integrators.

I think Apple has shown the issue with having 1 major company to rely on for chips, they become slow to advance.
Im not saying Qualcomm releases bad chips but they havent really improved that much since the 845. Yes single core has gotten better but. I mean compared to what apple has done in the same period.
This is the exact reason Apple stopped using Intel, they were not advancing enough.
I get that intel or qualcomm have to work with more devices but they can do more im sure.

I never quite understood the relative performance of MediaTek chips within their products and compared to Qualcomm. The assumption was always that all their chips were below the performance of all the Qualcomm chips.
I don’t think I’ve seen a single chip under the Dimensity banner.

Huh, what? Quite a few phones are on them, and they’re pretty fast, and some are pretty cheap. There are quite a few Poco phones using them now, and Xiaomi is starting to put them to their main line too. There are a couple of Samsung M phones and Realme phones as well.

To me… Mediatek is synonymous with lower quality.

Never had their phone chips, but their shitty chips in 2020/21 Sony TVs are what’s holding back on 4x HDMI2.1 and VRR

Sorry to say but A 20k android device can’t run many apps at a go n not lag, now imagine running 13 or more apps at the background and then u need to make a transfer and OTP is sent plus you need to make sure the page you are on Instagram stories remain as it is , once you try opening the msg app to read the OTP the bank app restarts meaning you got to redo the whole process again , then back to Instagram where you want to check the stuff you left and it will refresh.

Mind you there are ways of registering your displeasure of a post in a more respectable way than the way you just typed in a mannerless and uncouth way. You deserve no more response from yours truly.
Oga stop lying

You cannot run 20 apps on iPhone without ram constraint.

Unless you are on new flagship(iPhone 12 and 13) with larger ram. 20 apps will keep closing in background which will limit whatever multi tasking experience you are having.

Now if you want to compare 1000usd iPhone 13 in multi task experience, you should do the same for other android flagship device. Or even midrange android device and see if the experience won't be similar.

Multi tasking is way easy on iPhone
lol

This post is just stupid.

Multi tasking that even A 20k phone will do flawlessly is now a reason to get iPhone?

PhonesRedmi K50 Pro+ To Be The First Android With Snapdragon 898 by Promotexx(op):
According to the latest news coming our way from bloggers, the Redmi K50 Pro+ is basically ready to hit the market. At least, all the latest leaks refer to this version. So as various sources claim, the handset will feature Android camp’s top Snapdragon 898 processor. The latter will be using Samsung’s 4nm process, and use a three-cluster CPU design. It will include a 3.0GHz Cortex X2 super large core. So there is every reason to think this chip will exceed the one million mark in the AnTuTu benchmark.
