The APC never agrees with any poll. They say they've done internal polls and it's shows they are ahead. El-rufai said Obi only got 25% in 16 states in their poll. If that's the case, why not release the poll? What is the essence of hiding the poll? Except they found something they don't want people to know about. |
It's called respect. Sanwo-Olu is still the governor of Lagos State. |
Kog45:You obviously haven't left your father's house. There are also Igbos in the Portharcourt, Uyo, even Kano. There are also Yorubas everywhere, from Aba to Nnewi, and even in my house in my village in my state. So what is chasing them? Travel and see. The world doesn't revolve around Lagos. |
The National Union of Road Transport workers (NURTW) says it has appointed coordinators to arrange transportation of polling materials and personnel for the forthcoming general elections in Lagos, Ondo, Osun and Oyo states where its activities were banned. In a letter to INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the General Secretary of NURTW, Kabiru Ado Yau, the union said it has appointed as coordinators Rafiu Olohunwa, Oluwatoyin Olaoye, Rauf Fakorede and Abideen Olajide for Lagos, Ondo, Osun and Oyo states, respectively, to organise drivers on wheels for the exercise. The NURTW also listed in the letter names and contact details of all its officials who would facilitate the successful deployment of vehicles and monitor the prompt delivery of election materials and personnel in all states across the country. The letter reads: “I am pleased to inform your good self that the Union’s leadership has appointed coordinators to be responsible for monitoring and supervision of the activities of our members to be engaged by the commission for its electoral activities at state and local government levels. “To achieve effective and efficient delivery of logistics, those engaged are to facilitate the successful deployment of vehicles as well as to monitor and assist the state councils they are assigned to. “They are also required to lead a delegation of state officials to supervise the signing of any contractual agreement with INEC in respect of the 2023 general elections.” Recall that INEC National Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, on January 31 met on MoU with the leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) on the transportation of election officials and ballot papers to polling units on the election day. At the consultative meeting, the INEC chairman reminded the unions, whose members are going to be conveying personnel and materials nationwide, on their obligation to neutrality. Print more notes. Meanwhile: Peter Obi vs. Tinubu Here's a breakdown of what both candidates did as governors of their respective states. 1. Healthcare Peter Obi - Built heart surgery hospital in Onitsha - Built College of medicine - Built several healthcare centers - Upgraded and licensed all school of nursing Bola Ahmed Tinubu - Didn't build a single hospital in 8 years - Upgraded hospitals 2. Education Peter Obi - Took Anambra from number 25 in Waec to number one. - Built and refurbished primary and secondary schools accross the state. - Donated over 30,000 computers, printers and generators to all schools in Anambra. Tinubu - Upgraded and built modern schools. 3. Debt Nigeria is in massive debt, so we need a president that can manage these debts. Peter Obi Didn't borrow one naira, paid Anambra state debts and saved over 75 billion naira. Tinubu Left a debt of over 100 billion naira for Fashola, even after increasing taxes in the state. Most people who voted for Buhari, today claim they didnt know much about him back then. So it's important to take your time to educate yourself about the antecedent of each candidate, and not rely on what you hear on the media. Here are 10 reasons not to vote for Tinubu as Nigerian's president. 1. He still claims he owns Lagos years after leaving office as governor: Nigeria don't need someone that will own the country after their tenure. We need a president that will serve and leave for us to elect new leaders of our choosing. 2. He didn't build a single hospital for 8 years as governor of Lagos Healthcare is a major factor, considering that Nigerians have a low lifespan. Tinubu claims he increased IGR, but didn't build a single hospital in eight years. Not one. Rather he travels abroad for treatment. Ensure you have enough money to travel abroad before you think about voting him. 3. He's not compassionate: Nigeria needs a president that's compassionate or at least fakes it the way Buhari does. - When endSARs protesters were killed in Lagos, BAT berated them from been there. He asked about the kind of characters they are. - When Nigerians complained about the dollar increase; he asked whether we buy bread with dollar. - When Pa Reuben Fasoranti's daughter was murdered, he asked, 'where are the cows.' The same person now claims to care. 4. His economic policy drove Nigeria into recession: the former minister of finance, Adeosun told us the federal government was using Tinubu's economic template, which is why they were borrowing incessantly. Its still the same manifesto of borrowing that he's is offering to Nigerians. Never vote for a man whose economic plans drove the dollar to over 900 naira. 5. He doesn't know how to manage money: He claims he increased Lagos IGR, yet he borrowed over 100 billion naira, with no major projects to show for it. Note: All the legacy projects he claims to have done are Public-privae-partnerships, where private companies fund the project. Lagos state government mostly just donate the land. 6. He's not transparent: Lagos state finances has been under seal since BAT became governor till today. Lagosians don't know how much is been generated or spent. He structured the state finances that way and made his company, Alphabeta the sole collector of revenue in Lagos State. This is what be will try to replicate if elected President. 7. He's surrounded by failed talents: Batists praise Tinubu for raising "talents." But what's has these talents actually achieved? Fashola the brightness of them all failed as a minister of works and power. Ganduje, Fayemi, El-rufai, Ayade, etc, are all failures in governance. It's the same people that failed with Buhari that Bola will reward as ministers; so nothing will change. 8. Bola is unhealthy: Nigeria doesn't need a president that limps. A lot of people today are claiming Buhari is unaware of what the canal are doing. We don't need another president that will be unaware of his surroundings, while cabals operate his government. 9. He is abusive: Nigeria needs a president that can unite the country with his words and actions. BAT and his team has been fighting everyone from TV stations, journalists, other presidential candidates, host governors, tribes, religion and more. His spokespersons always fight on TV. 10. Tinubu is a dictator: Do you think the INEC can stop a Nigerian from contesting for election? That has happened with BAT. Asides his rants about Osibanjo disrespecting him by contesting, he also orchestrated the house arrest of Okorocha. In Lagos, He stopped supporters of Ambode from voting in the party primaries. No one dared challenge his wife for her seat in the senate for years. Bola's dictatorial disposition doesn't just end with elections. But you already know that. Hope this helps. Vote Wisely. |
yarimo:Those 2 people you quoted are always tweeting about Obi. They don't talk about Kwakwanso or Sowore because they know they are both irrelevant. |
senatordave1:Lol. And I guess the Baba-Ahmed family are also core Christians. KD is up for grabs for all 4 candidates. Buhari is not contesting. |
Most people are underating LP. Peter Obi already has supporters all over the country. 80% of internet users support him. When you add that to local support, you'll see why he's winning all the polls. |
So out of all the things that have been happening in this country for the last 8 years, it's only the new naiar design that made the governors angry? - Thousands been killed - Dollar rising to almost 1k - double digit inflation - oil theifery and more... They don't care about you.... |
