Politics / Re: Local Marketers Boycott Dangote Refinery Products by prophetfire: 5:25pm On Sep 24
Shadomaan7:
The local marketers are just being petty. Imagine boycotting a product that is cheaper than the one they have been selling to Nigerians for years now.
Are you sure it's really cheaper? Have you asked them or are you relying on Dangote's version of the story alone?
Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel Has Launched Over 300 Strikes On Hezbollah After Warning (Photos) by prophetfire: 1:02pm On Sep 23
GOTVee:
sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, no sane Christian should support the bombing of people's devices without provocations. Isreal is bitting more than it can chew in the middle east and I hope the US government call the isrealis to order before things go sour. The patience of the Muslim folks doesn't necessarily mean cowardice. They are applying restraints so as not set destabilize the region. Imagine a situation where all the Islamic nations decide to fight Isreal? Isreal should thread with caution and henceforth I will stop supporting Isreal and my visit to Jerusalem later this year is canceled sad
Show yourself hypocrite. You are a deluded head-slamming Islamic terrorist sympathiser.
Hezbollah and Lebanon and all terrorists and their supporters must buy the market they priced.
Israel have crushed all the Islamic nations before in the three days war and will further crush them again.

I don't support APC, but Obaseki deserve to be flogged. Very ungrateful and vindictive fellow.
He even failed woefully in terms of adding value to the development of Edo State.

Mumu, did you read the write up at all? Did you see them mention Monday sit at home as part of their reasons for leaving?
The headline doesn't tally with the body of the story.
I don't support criminal Simon Ekpa and his murderer group though, neither do I support Nnamdi kanu and his foolish approach to Biafra issues.
Education / Re: 2024: Abia Ranks 1st, Katsina Last In NECO Examination by prophetfire: 5:49pm On Sep 19
Zico5:
These people from red soil are totally out of reality. Abia is one of the states in Nigeria notorious for examination malpractices. I was there for my NYSC, Umuahia north local government. You just have to give it to them when it comes to examination malpractices. So glorifying your state or region about issue we are aware of is pure nonsense.
Which state do you come from? We want to check something.
However, the state where school was deregistered for examination malpractices is your almighty citedal of knowledge, Ekiti State.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Graphic Photos From The Explosion Of Pagers Used By Hezbollah In Lebanon by prophetfire: 3:57pm On Sep 18
FreeStuffsNG:
Hezbollah and Isreal war has not started yet wink Be careful what you wish for.

There's a reason PM Netanyahu has not accepted responsibility for this scale of Isreali terrorist attack on Hezbollah/Lebanon unlike Isreal attacks on Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. Hezbollah is not Hamas o.

US has denied involvement and that's bad for Netanyahu and Israel.
They keep on getting whipped up and down and you keep on threatening what they'll do.
Sorry terrorists sympathiser. They can't do anything but bark like you all the time.
It's a major victory for Israel and Netanyahu.

Hmmmmm

No wonder

Been wondering where they made money from, it's all clear now.
I used to have a friend whose sister was dating a former Kogi governor..... She later died and that my friend inherited her political structure and he's a influential politician now all due to the "connection" her sister got.
. Exposing your ignorance. Simple Google search would tell you how Orji Kalu, a Forbes listed billionaire, made his money. A feat he achieved before becoming governor and before Obasanjo became civilian president.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Gives Each Minister 1,200 Bags Of Rice To Distribute As Palliatives by prophetfire: 3:46pm On Sep 16
Bobloco:
Tinubu and those around him are obviously clueless.

How can a so-called first-class accountant adopt the sharing of rice as the only solution to his calamitous economic policies that have inflicted premium hunger, strife, and starvation on the citizens?

If Tinubu is bereft of ideas on how to solve the myriad socioeconomic problems his policies have caused, he should honorably step aside.

Honestly I'm not only disappointed with Tinubu but I'm more disappointed with the entire Yoruba people, especially the Lagos crew that have been with him since he was a governor.
So all of them are so dumb that it's only sharing rice that they know to do.

Yourprick:

What's now the essence of the refinery of we're still buying fuel at above 300
It all depends on the federal government. If they give him crude at a giveaway price not minding the price at the international market, they can negotiate for him to produce for the nation's consumption at a lower price.

Crime / Re: Indonesia Frees Emmanuel Ihejirika Sentenced To Death For Drug Trafficking by prophetfire: 6:37pm On Sep 14
Augustine2244:
My brethren have refused to learn and relearn concerning illegal drugs business in SE Asia.
They keep forgetting that Indonesia has the harshest anti drugs laws on earth, and never spares any drug trafficker caught by her legal arm.
The punishment is execution by firing squad or lethal injection.
Indonesia has executed thousands of Nigerians caught in the drug business and still going, but my money conscious foolish brothers will never count their teeth with their tongues.
Did you read the piece at all? Or you read and didn't understand?
His was a case of mistaken identity.
If he did drugs, there's no way he would have been let off the hooks.
It's an old case championed by the late Chief Ojo Maduekwe, former foreign affairs minister.
This lawyer stepped in to provide free legal services to him.
I don't even know what that whiench of a woman is doing there trying to claim credit for the man's efforts.
