The worst part is that OBJ is Now seen as a saint just like IBB, pointing accusing fingers at someone whose admin has witnessed almost zero "political killings" save the ones we keep hearing on the pages of d newspaper that he's "planning" to kill millions of opposition politicians.

Until the killers of General Patrick Awoye Azazi and Governor Yakowa are apprehended, you lack the moral justification to make the above statement.

From my observation, it's obvious that the proliferations of kidnappers, armed robbers and ritualists in the south is a logical explanation for the absence of northerners from the list. These criminals are ready-made hired killers waiting for recruitment. Poverty readily becomes a catalyst, as any kidnapper will readily stalk and murder for money, than risk being apprehended and killed during negotiations for ransom, the former seems like a better investment for him.

Obviously Muazu is, from what I see in that photo, the body language is quite clear. There's a certain sense of humility that Namadi shows around GJ, that sense is not present in the posturing of Muazu, the Chairman of the ruling party.

otipoju: Is it the market itself that is ugly or it is just the picture ... these images can make someone to vomit.

Have you seen the faces of the people? They need APC in their lives. PDP has failed them, APGA is dead and buried, pride has made them reject the APC. Now left to their woes as a directionless, myopic people with no bearing or heading. Okoro will always be Okoro.

What an eyesore. Leadership failure illustrated in living colour. The frustration written on those traders faces tells a far worse story than the pictures themselves. This is exactly what I was reminding them of yesterday on the other thread. The PDP has failed the SE, the bitter truth is that inferiority complex will not let the people ask for better leadership, as they cannot fathom not having a close neighbor they can adopt as their own.

Sorry to derail, but has anyone seen thewarrior72? we have unfinished business.

thewarrior72: Op I don't know what u tend to gain from this ur topic, but whatever it is, It's ur own business undecided

Every rational igbo man/woman knows today, even if igbo man assume the presidency of this country it will never change the hapless situation of this discombobulated nation, hence will rather agitate/seek for BIAFRA, where one interest, one goal & one destiny would be in forefront.

Igbo-chop-sand-band, you have come to deceive again with the fantasies in your head, why are your people screaming from pillar to post seeking for a party to be accepted in? The PDP which you are squatting with is founded and controlled by northerners, and you have insulted the APC in your land in your usual political naivety. Every Igbo wants to have an Igbo President, even if for nothing, to ease your inferiority complex among all Nigerians. The only reason you support GJ is because of his performance (?) in the east and the names he deceived you with to strip you of your votes, does that not mean you want a President? The reason there has not been an Igbo President is not because you don't want it, but because you are politically and economically irrelevant. The North, Middle Belt and SW produces agriculture which contributes to the GDP of the country, the SS produces oil, what does the East contribute? Nothing! Empty chestbeaters.

thewarrior72: What did 30plus years of housa hausa leadership of this country brought bring to Nigeria or they their people in particular, but could not find one, not even one thing what celebrating.

You have come here with your self-consoling anti-north propaganda, the achievements of the north from it's years in power are innumerable. The fact that the northerner in not a chest-beater, and that you lack the exposure that travel affords educated minds does not mean you should showcase your resultant ignorance.

1.The fact that the North has the best motorable roads and agricultural infrastructure in the country did not come from losing wars.
2. The multiplicity of factories and industries in the north such as Textile, Cement, Milling, Dairy, Car Assembly (PAN) etc. were not achieved by being politically irrelevant.
3. The major source of electricity in the country (Kainji Dam) - Niger, the capital city - Abuja, the only Military Academy (NDA) - Kaduna, the only aviation college (NCAT) - Zaria, the only weapons manufacturer (DICON) - Kaduna, the first Car Factory (PAN) - Kaduna, should I continue or are you still asking what the North achieved with its power? For more visit https://www.nairaland.com/1841528/lions-den-arewa
4. The emergence of Dangote as the richest black man on earth, worth more than the entire Igbo industrialists put together, would not have been possible with Ojukwu in power.

thewarrior72: As someone who have has sat down and to ask my self myself some soul searching questions, like. What did 30plus years of housa hausa leadership of this country brought bring to Nigeria or they their people in particular, but could not find one, not even one thing what celebrating. Educationally most backward, human development poorest, Primary, secondary& university enrollment enrolment poorest. Their town & cities look worst worse than a typical rural areas in east. The few graduates they boost boast of can hardy hardly make a sentence in English.,is it the amajiri system or the higher high rate of maternal death, diseases & disabilities just to name a few. Thesame goes with Southwest, but on in a lighter smaller proportion than the nuth north.

With your level of illiteracy, ignorance and border line lack of cerebral capacity evidenced by your lack of comprehension, articulation, punctuation and diction are manifestations of the failure of your education (to which i advise you claim a refund from your headmaster) and mirrors the weakness of the educational system of the entire country, and the extent of human ignorance if left unchecked.

thewarrior72: Their town & cities look worst worse than a typical rural areas in east.

As i stated earlier, your regrettable lack of exposure can be an excuse for the utterance of such an audacious fallacy. The cities in the north have the best roads in the country and are cleaner than the whole of red sandy ala'igbo combined. The lack of ordinary land and scourge of erosion, heightened with the poor hygiene of the people has turned the whole of Aba, Owerri, Onitsha etc. into nose-shrivelling slums. For your info, i have been in Anambra and have seen the shanties and deplorable conditions your people live in. You cannot fool all the people, all the time. One would think you will be too busy dealing with the societal cancers of the east (robbery, kidnapping, baby production, granny rape_ cannibalism etc), or pondering on your political irrelevance to be peddling cheap propaganda.

fashrola: I'm from akwa Ibom state... Oya spit it out

Your governor is performing well and that cannot be taken away from him. Of course a lot of the developments are a result of AKS receiving one of the highest federal allocations in the country due to it's oil production. We all know how rotten Uyo was before the advent of the Goodluck administration, so enjoy it while it lasts. I am delighted for you guys as you are receiving commensurate compensation for the bastardization of your land and livelihood through oil exploration activities. At least for the first time in Nigerian history, AKS citizens can gloat, like you just did considering my question was not directed at you. Kudos to Akpabio.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Is Inciting Christains Against Muslims To Win 2015 Election-Amaechi by prophetone(m): 11:13pm On Aug 18, 2014
omenka: @ first bold: who is a militant and who is a terrorist?? Arnt they one and thesame?? Have the so called militants not killed dozens of innocent citizens?? Have they not bombed people and properties?? Have they not waged war against the govt?? I'm in no way supportive of the activities of either of them, matter of fact if I could have my way, I say they all be sent to the Gas Chambers at Auschwitz-Birkenau (if they still exist)!! But one must understand that the West has made it so easy to associate the word "terrorism" with Islam yet we have terrorists from all faiths and religions across the world! If you are a muslim and you throw a bomb, you are a "terrorist", but if a christian does same, they are "militants" or "separatist" or "criminals". Why they selective connotation??

@second bold: Who incites the people more than Jonathan and his handlers Was t not the octogenarian EK Clerk who snapped at a presenter on a program (straight talk) on AIT the other day, when she asked a question regarding the inability of the administration to reign in corruption (with specific mentions of Alison et al.), that "you are asking me questions like an Housa girl!! Did they send you to me??" I felt so disgusted I changed the channel!! May God never give me anything I ask for in life if I'm lying!! Tell me, how do "hausa" people ask questions??
Asari "turbaned" a dog and called it the Emir of Kano!!! Did he get any rebuke from Aso Villa?? What is more inciting than that These are the crop of people that hobnob with the president!! Anyone who seems to disagree with their narrative is a muslim or a haramite!! What is more inciting than that

Amaechi might have his flaws just like the rest of us, but on this one, he got it right!!

My friend, even if the truth is hanging from their eyelids, they will fight, rebuke and turn it on it's head. It does not suit their ethno-religious agenda to objectively dissect and analyse issues.
