Thanks for all the responses. May ur knowledge be replenished.
May I dare to inquire if a few drops of blood from the one who sacrifices suffices as seal or the spirit of another messenger must do the communication with the spirit realm?

The question now is what right have we to deprive others of their right to live save our might. The people of the book religions often brag about it being written in their books. Consequently, they feel justified.

The suggestion if l'm allowed one, is that we as spirits burdened and graced with bodies should strive to conduct our pilgrimage such that we portray attributes of evolved beings the Olodumare would be proud of, even as we learn from the ways of the likes of Obatala, Sango, Orunmila and others much as we should not be aversed to the wisdom of other great icons of wisdom. It is amazing what the dog can teach about loyalty and friendship!

Pardon my punctuation pls.

@ Op, Macof, Folykaze and other like minded folks.

Is their anyway a traditionalist can go about his business of spirituality without shedding blood of animals?

And

Did any of the "gods" attain his height without
blood sacrifice?

Just started it oh though its not an easy journey. But i've seen even a medical doctor who is a vegetarian for over 30 years and he told me that been a vegetarian is beneficial to our health and spirit.
You hardly meet vegetarians these days. Wish success in your quest for enlightenment.

Stay strong and keep in touch.

So vegetarians are bloody? Ignorance they say is more deadly than ebola. When God created man, did He instructed man to feed on animals or herbs? Genesis 1:29-30 God made herbs to be meat/food for both man and animals. So u can as well call God a bloody vegetarian.
ARE u VEGetariaN?
RomanceRe: Reason Why You Should Have Only One Sexual Partner(picture) by Propti1: 10:27am On Mar 10, 2015
U could of have a single line of power or webs of it
Yet the energy that should have been shared by 2 could be so fragmented over an infinite web of gang- layers (orgy) that the slivers of power that is left with each partner is insufficient to live independently as each of those who see sex as sport become drained and constantly seek rejuvenation thru addictive sex and help from outside.
RomanceRe: Reason Why You Should Have Only One Sexual Partner(picture) by Propti1: 10:07am On Mar 10, 2015
Energy, ability of the mind to do work is synchronized during sex and 'diluted' by complexity caused by the number of partners involved.
The fewer the partners, the more focused and concentrated the energy for each of the partners.

The knots or zeros represent individuals.

one to one

one to many

many to many

@ Op do you imply that those who do not dedicate their souls lack spiritual powers. Who is the supreme about whom you speak? Cosidering the ephemeralty of life, why dedidicate one's soul to the "supreme"

Don't you realise that life is a loan that must be paid back at death? Then what shall we tell the lender at the hour of our "death"?

Be sincere.

let us give thanks for the woman that held tight to her conviction till she was liberated from the burden of the body

Let us learn that the right to live as homo-spiritus comes with the responsibility to be neither attached nor aversed to "death" which is just a much awaited transition for the esoteric

Let us pray for the grace to understand the metaphysical and to briddle our tongues and fingers when we comment on the action of others

Amen.

This thread reminds of Job and his friends. It is awesome to read of the manifestation of the powers of reasoning that has been bestowed upon the op, the contributors and whoever took the pain to read and ponder.
May it come to an enlightening end.
RomanceRe: Date A Vegan? by Propti1(op): 11:08am On Jan 05, 2015
Some sea creatures are so friendly you wouldn't want to harm them. All animals are capable of feeling pain. Pain and peace do not blend. An attempt to merge both would lead to cognitive dissonance. Ignoring the pains of others for our tastebuds or whatever motive is letting the senses rule the spirit. I wouldn't condemn such acts so long as the perpetrator wouldn't blame the reactions on man or deity.

EnlightenedSoul:
@ Propti1 How do you feel about consuming sea-life? I'll respond to your other post l8r, thanks.
RomanceRe: Date A Vegan? by Propti1(op): 10:29pm On Jan 04, 2015
EnlightenedSoul:
That's a discussion right there.

I have witnessed slaughter before, and I am aware of these arguments and can agree with them to a certain extent, but biologically humans remain omnivorous. At the very least, I feel a lot can be improved in the way animals are treated in factory farms etc, but then again, people barely have enough regard for their fellow human being.

Have you not seen large pack mules and horses bend at the knees for the sheer amount of weight on their backs, whipped when they stop or stumble? No respect or sense of decency towards other living things, and no common sense either. They don't know that even if you'll just end up eating or selling that cow, it's taste and quality largely depends upon the animal's quality of life and the way it was treated.
Appreciated!
Once upon a time, during a discourse with a couple of strangers that were applicants, we reasoned that it was best for man to eat plants.
When we concluded, they introduced themselves as a doctor and a pharmacist. Then one of them said "mama, give us more ponmo." As they chewed, they said, "I love meat"

These were intellectuals who knew better with good I.Q. But, it takes spiritual quotient to control the taste buds and not to be attached or aversed. S.Q subjects the senses to the spirit. You would agree that the content is superior to the vessel in way that the body is inferior to the spirit.

Switching off and ignoring our cruelities reduces dissonance. I understand that over-exposure to wrongs enables tolerance. The only lasting solution to cognitive dissonance is to think and act right by unifying the concious and subconcious minds. Trust me! It reduces a lot of stress and guarantees lasting happiness.
RomanceRe: Date A Vegan? by Propti1(op): 5:17pm On Jan 04, 2015
What manner of well-being? Doesn't the spirit sustain the body?Talking of right thinking, don't you think animals have spirits that are violently liberated. If if you've ever witnessed the last moments of one about to be robbed of its life, I bet you would reconsider your position.
Shall the violent attain the calm and inner peace that is required for loving enlightenment?
Is a man's might his right? Is speciesm not similar to racism?
EnlightenedSoul:
Not necessarily. But I do credit it with a higher sense of well-being.

I myself have my reasons for abstaining from red meat, but I hardly believe myself any more 'right-thinking' than the carnivores that surround me lol. I do feel better off w/o it, but neither do I miss it. Veganism, on the other hand, would kill me.
RomanceRe: Date A Vegan? by Propti1(op): 4:47pm On Jan 04, 2015
Good response: Brilliant!
EnlightenedSoul:
Scenario: I make a veggie pasta with ribs.

- the average omnivore would be sated.
- the vegetarians/pescetarians would simply drop the ribs, and be content.
- a true carnivore may be annoyed with the presence of 'all those unnecessary vegetables', but he'll def be happy to go triple on the ribs the formers left behind.
- the vegan will have a problem with the entire meal!

Something similar to this has happened to me before, but it was due more so to a dietary restriction than a chosen lifestyle. I've never cooked for the vegans I know. As far I'm aware, they're content with their nuts and berries, and I wouldn't know where to start anyway tongue

The nice thing about vegans - they know how to take care of themselves. They're completely self-sufficient in their kitchens. They have to be.
RomanceRe: Date A Vegan? by Propti1(op): 10:39am On Jan 04, 2015
While dietary choices in and of itself isn't sufficient for enlightenment, should it be infered that you believe it is essential for right thinking and actions?
EnlightenedSoul:
Yh, I don't buy that. I hardly think dietary choices alone are the key to enlightenment.

I don't have any fears. I only hope that I'm not eating or drinking the moment he reveals himself a vegan. I wont be able to help the LOL that surfaces.
