It's PPR, thanks be to God!!! I'm super excited to bring with me good news which could also be a shimmer of hope for you all in this Canadian immigration journey which we are all coursing. On Friday, 11th of March 2022, I finally received the good news of the approval of my Canadian study visa. Truly, delay is not denial, these are my application details:

Confirmation of Submission: October 14, 2021.
Correspondence Letter/BVL : March 10, 2022
Original Passport Request: March 10, 2022

I began this Canadian migration journey sometime back in 2019. At this time, I had no knowledge about whatever processes were involved in applying for the visa, I just had my burning desire to leave this country for greener pastures. Factoring in my ignorance and the need for me to make this work, I procured the services of a canadian immigration consultant. Hmmm... I won't bore you with the disheartening experience of how this journey went, but my people, it was a dark experience for me. Asides from keeping me in the total dark with regards to my application process, he was quite inept in his services and undecided so many times about what course of action to take in response to a presented difficulty. Well, to put it briefly, after he put together a scruffy package for me, my visa application was denied by the IRCC on the 9th of July, 2019 on the grounds of:
1. Purpose of Visit
2. Current Employment decision
3. Home Ties
4. Personal Assets and Financial Status

Upon receipt of my refusal letter, I nearly went into depression. All the time, effort, and money expended had all gone to waste. However, my resolve was greater than my circumstance so after a while I gathered myself up and decided to give it another shot. Quite fortunately for me, at around the same time, a friend of mine had just received an approval for herself to travel to Canada for her master's program. She then told me of her story and referred me to @Frankrobbn1 on Nairaland who she claimed had worked the miracle for her. She further told me of how he had similarly helped a lot of people on the platform through his expert advices on how to successfully migrate to Canada. Upon this, I reached out to @Frankrobbn1 through this very platform to retain his services for a re-application and that was when my story changed for the better.

As a previously refused applicant, I will attest that I was initially quite jittery. However, after a brief while corresponding with Mr. Frank, I was in awe of his professionalism, experience and proficiency in the Canadian immigration industry. I have found him to be extremely detailed, an excellent researcher, problem solver, and critical decision maker. He provided me with tailored support and exhibited excellent attention to detail. He further skillfully resolved all the complications in my last application with the highest degree of professionalism and put my fears to rest by covering every grey areas in my application which resulted in the approval of my study application.

The good God that I serve that used Mr. Frank to change my story from denial to approval will continue to bless him for me. As you have put a smile on my face and the faces of many, God will continue to keep your lips wide with smiles. I cannot quantify the joy that I am feeling right now as I make my travel plans to Canada. For those aspiring migrants reading this and have been undecided about using an agency, take my advice and contact @Frankrobbn1 as soon as possible. He is one honest person I can assure you is worth his pay. I appreciate everyone on this platform and the information and assistance you people give to questions asked on here. I also pray that everyone who is awaiting decision on their application will all receive positive feedbacks in Jesus name. Amen!

Once again, thank you @Frankrobbn1 for what you did for me and God bless you. See you all in Canada. Au revoir.

See the documents submitted on my behalf by Mr. Frank.

Having lost my husband a while back and with the current state of the country as we all know, I made the decision to migrate to Canada with my two children through the Canadian study route. After conducting various researches and upon some consultations, I began to feel like this was an impossible feat as I came across various takes from individuals claiming how nearly impossible getting an approval would be for me. This was exacerbated by the fact that the program I was applying for was totally different from my educational background (You see, I had applied for a Global Hospitality Management program with a previous degree in Accounting). According to various people, this further slimmed my chances of having my visa approved.

Then came @Frankrobbn1. I came across Mr, Frank (CEO of fandrglobal.com) in my search for a reliable, competent and result-proven agent who could handle my peculiar case and put together a befitting profile for me. I had read several reviews about the quality of his services and how he had already helped many individuals move to Canada, but the unique thing is that none of these reviews even did true justice to Mr. Frank's efficiency.

Once I placed him on retainer, he assured me that I was in the best hands. However, this was my first trial and because of the peculiarity of my case, I was quite frantic. I called incessantly trying to know how far he had gone and how he was progressing with my application. Surprisingly, for a man with a busy schedule, Mr. Frank never lost his cool over my calls. He continuously reassured me that he was exerting his full expertise into putting together the best profile for me. Even after he had submitted and I would still call for updates, Mr. Frank still calmed me down by insisting in the quality of his competence which had already as he would say 'been tested and trusted'. Truly, I have confirmed the truth of the quality of @Frankrobbn1 's services because behold my visa has just been APPROVED for both myself and MY TWO CHILDREN!! Truly what seemed impossible has now materialized.

I pray that the almighty God will bless @Frankrobbn1 for me. The good Lord that used you to work a testimony for me will continue to elevate you. There are not enough words to express the amount of joy coursing through my body right now. My children and I will be making the move to CANADA!. Our migration success story would have never been written without Mr. Frank.

My fellow Nairalanders and aspiring migrants who are seeing this testimony and wish to make the move to Canada, my honest advice to you is to consult @Frankrobbn1 for his expert services on packaging the best immigration applicationfor you. I can assure you that whatever amount spent on procuring such services will not be remembered when you are staring your approval in the face. I wish you all the best and I hope to see everyone here in Canada someday. Thank you and God bless.

Wheeew !! I have not been here in many months, initially started following this group in 2020, got my first refusal December 2020, reapplied again got another refusal in May 2021. I was refused for purpose of visit, and the other reasons I can’t remember twice. I decided to give it a 3rd shot in July 2021 although I lost interest and someone in this group that I contacted (one of the popular ones that help people write LOE/SOP for a fee) at the time wrote me off after I told them about my case and what I wanted to do, this person killed my morale that there was a high chance I’ll not get the study permit, he refunded me and I went on to do it myself without any agent. That being said I am very grateful to those that were really contributing on this group between 2020 and 2021, most importantly God bless @frankrobbn1, he helped me indirectly by telling me what to add to my LOE after I posted my refusal notes here. Also many thanks to everyone that share their approval and refusal. I’ll like to add that if you’ve been delayed please don’t give up, you can always give it another chance if you wish. Every knowledge about Canada study permit application I know today was gotten from this group…also some people are really vocal here while some people are shy, please if you have any questions feel free to ask there are knowledgeable people here who are happy to help.

It took 9 whole months for PPR to arrive…. I don forget say I get Canada visa application sef . All thanks to God, thanks to the 2020/ early 2021 set of this group.

I began my immigration process initially in June 2021 and to ensure things went to plan, I sourced out the packaging of my profile to an agent who had assured me that he was knowledgeable and experienced in the Canadian immigration process so I could rest easy. After a tedious process and a shabby profile package this guy put together for me, my application was refused by the Canadian Embassy on the 23rd of September, 2021 on grounds of purpose of visit, limited employment prospects and not truthfully answering questions asked of me. That was my first refusal and I became very much distraught.

In my quest for a re-application, I got wind of @Frankrobbn1 services, the MD/CEO of fandrglobal.com, through numerous testimonies. Due to my previous encounter with agents I was initially skeptical about him but once I contracted his services, my story changed for the better. He was the angel sent to me by God to turn my story around from sorrow to joy.

Truly, Mr. Frank is one agent who I can assure you is worth his salt. Once I contracted his services, he calmed me down and asked me to place my confidence in his expertise while promising me that he would strategically tackle the grounds for refusal claimed by the IRCC. I initially had a huge fear about my program being flagged as I was applying for a PGD program while holding two Master's degree in MBA and International Law & Diplomacy from OAU and UNILAG respectively but Mr. Frank assured me while my profile presented certain peculiarities, he would be able to sell the necessity of my program and I should trust his services which I did and lo and behold! I now proudly celebrate my approval.

@Frankrobbn1 the good Lord will continue to bless you for me. You are truly one of the few out there who truly are knowledgeable in their craft. I bless the day I came across your services. For those reading this and questioning if they should contract @Frankrobbn1's services, I don't know what your previous experiences are but one thing I can assure you is that it would be the best decision you will make in your canadian immigration journey. I do not regret any money I spent in procuring his expert services as it proved to be worth every penny and more I spent.

Thank you all for the correspondence and assistance being given on this platform for aspiring immigrants. I wish everyone expecting updates positive responses. Keep at it, it will end in praise for everyone.

Hallelujah! God has done it.
Got PPR today after almost 10 months

Timeline

First application refused January 29th 2021

Second application submitted May 22nd 2021
Eligibility started May 31st 2021
Ghost update June 3rd 2020
Medical expires August 2021
New medical updated to pass September 2021
Correspondence letter March 3rd 2022
PPR March 3rd 2022
Age over 50 years

First refusal reason was purpose of study and personal assets and finance. In my reapplication, for purpose of study I used sub categories in my statement of purpose such as introduction, why the program, why the school and a specific section on the purpose and benefit of the study. Though I stated all this in the first application I emphasis it more in the second application.

For personal asset and finance, I submitted bank statement and mutual fund investment letter like the first application but this time I liquidated part of my mutual fund investment into my bank account to make sure the money in my bank account is more than the total money I budget for the study for myself and my family then I sent MBS of the bank account and then a new investment letter with the outstanding fund in my mutual fund investment.
I also attached valuation report of my land.

Most importantly I prayed to God for the approval. I give God all the glory because after the first refusal I almost gave up because I though age is against me. More so, I have two Masters degree already and I am going for another Master program but I committed it into God hand and He came through for me.

While waiting I requested GCMS twice but nothing was in them, eligibility shows "review required"

I hope this encourage someone.

It’s ppr guys! I don’t know if anyone remember me when I came ranting in pain sometime last year October..but please let’s never give up. I was denied on the 29th of October 2021 based on financial and personal asset which I clearly stated here that it doesn’t make any sense based on the substantial evidence I submitted to prove ownership of every tangible assets I own which is also in my name ranging from houses to lands, more than 18 mill in the account that has been there for two years, first term school fees paid etc. after the refusal I applied for my gcms note but put in a new application before it came out and noticed I was misinterpreted as I clearly stated I was the sole sponsor but when I saw what was written on my application I was totally disappointed because it was an error on their side stating my parents were sponsoring which I never made mention of…. I reapplied immediately on the 30th of October with a new Loe, used the court stamp on every documents submitted earlier, added more assets to the application and even cars lol.

Program: MBA with UCW.
Profile: 1st time Applicant. Nigerian Lawyer with a first degree and Masters in Law. Almost 15 years post call experience. Self Sponsored application.

The story
I started this journey in 2017 with MBA admission from VIU but I couldn’t go through with it because my kids were still very young and back then it wasn’t advisable to submit a joint application with kids. I therefore intensified efforts on express entry process which I had started since 2015 but never got sufficient score however by February 2020, when I finally got sufficient score, age was no longer on my side so the overall pool scores weren’t good enough. Despite this, I stayed in the pool and even got into the provincial nominations race unbeknownst to me, God had other plans for me.

While this was ongoing, I started applying to schools even though I was skeptical because of my age and the fact that I already have a masters degree in Law therefore a second masters degree could be seen as a red flag. However, because I had been running some businesses as side hustles and I sincerely wanted to acquire business management knowledge for retirement purposes later in life, I felt convinced of this study plan and decided to put the rest into God’s hands. He knew this was genuine thirst for knowledge and not a dire need to move to Canada. Eventually, I got MBA admission with UCW in February 2021 however, I almost lost the admission because GTBank was unable to process the Form A within the required time. The school was gracious to give me 2 weeks extension after which the admission will be lost. This made me panic to buy transfer dollar at black market rate but CBN approval for my Form A came the same day I bought the black market dollars so I didn’t need the transfer dollar again as the school fees was paid through Form A.

In order to recoup some losses I incurred through the transfer dollars I bought (I had to buy transfer because banks had directive not to transfer any foreign currency that was obtained through cash deposit), I decided to invest it with an asset management firm. The transfer forms were filled and submitted to the bank but two weeks after, the banks couldn’t tell me where the money was. My bank said they had transferred it, the asset management firm said their receiving bank in Nigeria hadn’t received the money while their correspondent bank also failed to say if the money was with them or not. I sent mails daily but nothing changed. By the end of the 3rd week, I activated all my legal arsenals and sent a joint mail to all the banks involved while copying CBN and the SEC. I mentioned that I was going to sue all the banks and claim damages for the emotional trauma they caused me. It was this mail that made the funds to eventually drop into the asset management firm’s account. Little did I know that the 3 weeks period was just a test of my endurance for the IRCC wait period in future.

I was one of the many who rushed to apply in May 2021 in response to IRCC’s pledge to process our applications in time to enable us resume classes in Fall 2021. After submitting my application, with faith, I started watching every and any youtube video on living in Canada. I also downloaded ArriveCAN app and registered with faith. I also took the first shot of COVID-19 vaccine in May even though I was originally against taking the shots but I knew this would save me costs on quarantine in Canada (back then) so I took it and also went for the second one sometimes in July. After submitting, I noticed how imperfect my application was but I kept praying to God to perfect every imperfection on the application.

On July 12, 2021, I ordered for the first GCMS note which arrived in August with no major comment other than what was stated on my IRCC profile. By August prior to the arrival of the first GCMS note, I started having panic attacks because UCW wanted me to decide whether I would be deferring my admission or resuming online. This prompted me to send emails to several IRCC offices across the world. In the mail, I pleaded with them to expedite actions on my application so I could resume classes in October. Lots of generic responses started flooding my mailbox but one of the countries (can’t remember which one) informed me that my application was being processed in Nairobi. Lagos office on the other hand, told me to discontinue sending mails to all IRCC offices.

By end of August, 2021, I ordered for another note and when it arrived in September, there was no difference from the first one. This pushed my panic attacks to a higher level but my faith in God was unshaken; I intensified prayers and fasting. It was at this point that the above song ministered to my soul and I held onto the lyrics playing the song repeatedly every day. Ah! God is indeed faithful! I knew he would do It but didn’t know when. So, it was the lack of end date to the wait and the inability to plan for the future that heightened the panic not the lack of faith in God for a positive response.

By October, I resumed classes online but the panic didn’t stop so I stopped watching the Youtube videos, reduced my nairaland visits, stopped checking IRCC portal and just continued praying.

November 29, 2021, I ordered a 3rd GCMS note but its yet to arrive till date. When my school results came out in December, I had two A and one B in the 3 courses I took for the fall term. I knew this was God in action because I really struggled with the classes and work. This spurred me to send another round of mails to all the IRCC offices attaching the result and my enrollment letter. I also mailed MP for British Columbia. Her assistant reverted on February 18th with the same status on the GCMS notes and my IRCC portal. This got me more confused.

By the end of 2021, I was so pissed with the whole stress of waiting so instead of enrolling for January classes, I took a leave of absence from studies and bought a ticket for a vacation in Paris. I just needed to cool off from the entire stress. I literally told myself I was going to blow the entire term’s school fees in Paris.. jokes . Last week, I got a mail from UCW advising me to register for the Spring 2022 term which after engaging with @Lianna2020 yesterday, I decided to enroll for the online classes and mailed the school to reactivate my profile.

This morning at exactly 6:02am, after my morning prayers, a mail dropped from IRCC which got me to rush to the site however it kept showing invalid session. Hmmmmm… words cannot describe my state of mind at that time. While the struggle to login was ongoing, I got another mail which prompted me to hurriedly reach out to @Lianna2020 again. I kept chatting her to ask if she could proffer solution. Eventually, after trying google chrome, safari and edge browsers several times, I finally logged in on Edge then I saw the golden mail. To say this journey has stressed my mind tremendously would be a huge understatement but I am grateful to God because he makes everything beautiful in its time; I am also certain that this is God’s time hence the delay.
.

In the course of this journey, God sent me some awesome persons through Nairaland forum. I met a sweetheart by the name @Lianna2000 after I had submitted the application. She was always willing to help out with my enquiries day or night and was never tired of giving me moral support to ride the waiting period infact, yesterday we were still discussing my plans to continue classes online for the Spring 2022 term. May God continue to bless her. Another awesome person I met on Nairaland is @Bimmy35 who gave me lots of advice and assistance even before I applied. Thanks a bunch God bless. My appreciation also goes to @Inioluwa1, that guy is super awesome. He didn’t know me from anywhere apart from mails I sent to me through Nairaland yet he took a big risk of meeting me twice to review my documents and help submit everything. He devoted several hours to my application. I honestly cannot thank him enough. It is my prayer that they all find helpers whenever he needs it

I appreciate every single person who takes time to post on Nairaland for us to learn. May everyone in the waiting room receive positive responses very soon and may Canada favour us all. Amen.

Documents submitted
1. 10 page SOP with font size 8. Yes, I literally wrote a textbook because I knew with my profile, it was imperative that I envisaged all possible reasons for denial in order to address it. I actually put myself in a defensive position as though I was in a law court defending a Client whose application had been denied and I was tasked with the duty of convincing the Judge beyond all reasonable doubt on the need to approve the application. Infact, I raised several question statements such as “I know you may be wondering why this is this” then I proceeded to provide answers to the question.
The SOP was broken down into several paragraphs with sub-headings. I wrote it for weeks after praying to God for inspiration and direction. He eventually helped me to write a storybook about myself which I intend to beef up and publish someday even though IRCC has had the opportunity of reading the draft copy.

2. In addition to the SOP, I attached a table of lump sum explanation where I stated the amount of lump sum, the date and the reason for the lump sum. I had to do this because the account I used was my salary account which also had some major lump sum inflows from side hustles and sale of a land for the purpose of my studies.
3. All credentials
4. IELTS certificate (my 4th ielts since 2015)
5. Title documents for some properties (personally owned and jointly owned with my husband). I got these documents notarized by a Notary Public.
6. CAC Registration documents for two businesses belonging to me.
7. CAC registration documents for businesses jointly owned by my husband and I.
8. Birth certificate for myself and my kids
9. Police clearance certificate
10. Letter of introduction from my office detailing my job function and salary.
11. Work ID.
12. Copies of all visas for countries visited
13. Several family vacation and random pictures
14. Documents for the land I sold.
15. A page containing instagram handle of my businesses.
16. Tax clearance certificate
17. Hubby’s work ID, letter or introduction from his office detailing his role and salary.
18. My siblings means of ID and birth certificate
19. My RSA Pensions statement – I stated in my SOP that by Nigerian Regulation, I could access 25% of the entire sum in the RSA therefore they should please include that amount in their computation of my financial ability to sponsor myself.
20. Bank statements
21. Investment Certificate from asset management firm.

First Time Applicant, First Time Post on Nairaland, though registered since 2008. I’m intentional about this post because it might inspire someone out here. Application submitted by self from knowledge gathered from this thread. Being following from Part 17, reading over 10pages a day to keep up with the amount of information shared and taking jottings. Guys, we have all we need on this thread to DO-IT-YOURSELF. Ask yourself - How bad do you really want this & just go for it. Make time to review the previous thread where lots of free professional advice had been given.
Thanks to the gurus on this great thread for continuously making out time to attend to our questions. We appreciate your kind effort and support. Wishing expectant applicants, a successful PPR. With prayer all things are possible. Utmost praise to Almighty Allah.

Good news guys, my PPR just came in at 7:46am this morning. It can only be God, I am still in shock. My story is a special one, my Bachelors is Law, I have an LLB, BL (Law School), and Masters in International Business, but I applied for Diploma, not even Post Graduate Diploma, but Diploma in Digital Business Management. I wasn't even aware of this forum when I applied in September, I just followed a YouTuber (Noel Abingwa) and learnt the steps and documents needed when applying for my visa through one of his Videos. I contacted him and he was kind enough to share his statement of purpose/ letter of explanation with me. As I started getting anxious, I decided to join this forum 30th December and it was so encouraging because I kept getting alot of support, more especially from @Makano.

I got this message below from Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's Office on the 18th of February 2022

IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing

Thank you for answering my questions, more especially in the past two days after the message I got below from the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's office on the 18th of January 2022.

@Makano encouraged me that "If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them"

Thank you @PatrickOkunima @olasubomy @mrprolifik @VIKKYIFE @Teemenzo @Time2soar1 @Predator188 who helped give me answers to my posts as well.

I even ordered for GCMS notes on the 4th of January but its still not out.
