Congratulations Ekulu77:
ORIGINAL PASSPORT REQUEST !!! GOD DID IT Protocol breaking God. It ended in praise After 9months of submitting my application First time application GRAND UNCLE SPONSORSHIP It will be so bad and ungrateful if don’t come back here to give my timeline to help others , the way other people helped me too. I got every information I needed from nairaland ranging from submitting application to writing sop all information gotten from nairaland ,with very good people that are willing to help. TIMELINE Submit application:May 15th 2021 Biometrics request:May 16th 2021 Biometrics appointment:May 26th 2021 Biometrics updated:May 26th 2021 Upfront medical: June 16th 2021 Medicals updated: July 13th 2021 Ordered my 1st gcsmnotes :September 26th 2021 Gcsmnotes received:November 29th 2021 Ordered another gcsmnotes : January 26th 2022 Correspondence letter:February 17th 2022 PPR:February 17th 2022.
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED PROOF OF FUNDS SOLE SPONSOR - UNCLE 6MONTHS BANK STATEMENT CAC of his company Landed properties passport bio data Survey of his landed properties Memorandum and article of association of company Certificate of occupancy of landed properties Waec results Secondary school testimonial Secondary school transcripts Letter of recommendation from my school Letter of volunteer at an hospital Letter of sponsorship Letter of consent from my parents Letter of acceptance Pictures with my sponsor Picture with my sponsor and parent Awards from school including that I was the head girl
Note : my gcsmnotes I ordered stated insufficient proof of third party sponsorship . I came to nairaland to ask for what I should do . I was asked to act fast on it because it is very close to a refusal but God doesn’t fail. Nairaland gurus told me to fire back using email and webform this thing actually works most important the general webform which make you know that they have received your enquiry. *Letter of explanation explaining the relationship between I and my sponsor why he would what to sponsor me . *I stated that his children are grownups and successfully established in their careers so he doesn’t have major financial responsibility towards them *birth certificate of my grand uncle and my grandma, *family tree, *old pictures of my grand uncle and grand ma , *recent pictures of my grand uncle and I on my Graduation day *Receipt of my full year tuition fees, *stating that GIC account will be created for me once my visa is approved Also, all glory and honour to God that made this possible because this application is far from perfect . “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” Proverbs 3:5 NIV. With prayer and fasting the application was approved. Also , trust God while waiting because I was so discouraged when I come to nairaland and I see most application with uncle sponsorship are not approved even those with same surnames talk less of me that it is grand uncle with different surname from mine. I told God that I want my application to be different with this grand uncle sponsorship. I want to give a testimony of grand uncle sponsorship because what’s impossible with man is possible with God. Also, while waiting try to distract yourself from thinking of it because it really affects one’s mental especially. The waiting period is not easy but it will be easier if you have faith in God . I joined NLP by pastor b which made me closer to God and speak to God about my application. In the mighty the name of God , those that are planning to submit their application and people waiting for a decision to be made on their application they will get a positive decision very soon in Jesus name because mark 11:24 “That what ever you ask in prayers believe you have receive it and it is yours”Also ,remember “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 . Thank you so much nairalanders always answering my questions especially @ makano , @scott9ish , @anon123 , @liana2020 @justmellow ( who said he his looking forward to my testimony here is it ) and others that I forgot to mention .I really appreciate. I hope this helps someone.

Congratulations May Canada favour hum. Gennyoma19: PPR Alert Guys!!!
P:S The application is for my fiancée. However, I was 100% involved in the second application. (we started dating in 2021)
Second Application - November 5th, 2021 First application in 2020 was refused based on purpose of visit, home ties and personal assets.
A quick backstory he has was studying for Masters and applied for a Post Graduate Certificate. He disclosed this in his first application.
What he I feel he did wrong in the first application: 1. He was not done with the Masters at the time he applied in 2020. (He studied in an Asian country) 2. His course of study did not really align with his background and he did not properly explain the reason for choosing that program in his SOP. 3. The Masters program is higher than the PGC Certificate. 4. Personal assets ( no need going into much details). We all know how IRCC operates with this refusal reason. Having enough money is not really a guarantee.
What we did differently: 1. Requested for GCMS notes, analyzed the refusal reasons and how to tackle them. 2. Changed course of study to a more related course. Though we still maintained a PGC 3. Had his sponsor Deposit his living expenses in his account. 4. Wrote a well structured letter of explanation and statement of purpose highlighting how the course of study will impact him and his home country and the opportunities available in this field in Nigeria. 5. Attached landed documents. 6. Added a co-sponsor for elaborate demonstration of proof of funds. 7. Prayed fervently.
Note: We still went ahead with the application despite him not being done with the Masters still. Although, it was properly explained in the LOE.(for once strong head don good).
*Application Submitted: November 5th, 2021 *Submission Confirmation: November 6th *Medical Request: 21st January, 2022 *Medicals done: 2nd February *Updated to pass: 4th February *Eligibility review: I really don’t know when it started. It is still showing we are reviewing whether you meet the requirements. *PPR and Correspondence Letter : 9th February, 2022.
Last last na God run everything. All glory belongs to him alone!!!
Documents Submitted: All IMM forms Letter of Admission Bank statements (MBS) of both sponsors and applicant Employment Letter Landed documents (Survey plan) Tuition receipt Affidavit of Support Letter of Sponsorship Family pictures Study Plan (one and half page) Letter of Explanation (2 pages)
Thanks to Nairaland and you all that steadily give value on this thread. Everything I know and applied on the application was from this thread. I never travel before. I appreciate you all. Those that answered my questions, may God bless you. I wish everyone in waiting PPR. Amen!

Congratulations Vee2021: Who am I that you are mindful of me? God has done it.. PPR IS here. After waiting for so long. I prophesied that this week was my week and God did it. I am a silent reader here and I joined after I submitted my application, although I avoided this place for a while because of anxiety. After several emails, mp sent mails as well, I have started classes online for Fall 2021 at lambton college, currently doing the winter term, just last week Thursday I was asked to send my updated letter of acceptance but I sent enrollment letter instead , then I received PPR this afternoon. This is my timeline.
Submitted- May 11th 2021 Biometrics- May 24th 2021 Upfront medical - April 28th 2021 I don’t know when eligibility started. Updated letter of acceptance request - Feb 3rd 2022 Passport request- February 7th 2022 Yes 9months!
See ehn I was so scared, I trusted God but I’m human right? But God said his ways are not my ways. I submitted all the necessary documents even sent my fall transcript, please whatever you do just keep trusting God.
Please who’s going to Lambton College (Sarnia campus) or is already a student there? Hit me up. Thank you. I pray everyone excepting good news will receive it soon. Amen. |

Congratulations. Sorry for the loss may God guide you username12: So guys, here is my story.
I have lost a great deal of money paid to agents in the past to secure visa for me, most recently was last year June when I naively paid 285k to an agent to secure admission for me in a Canadian college. It was after this disaster that I stumbled on this thread. I regretted my life and beat myself up for a long time.
Afterwards, I began to read this thread from the beginning of part 18 till I caught up with part 19. I gained a huge amount information from people's timeliness shared, but most importantly, I met a wonderful individual on this thread who'd turn out to be a partner in progress in this journey.
We both got offers for a 1yr PGD program at Cambrian College, but realized afterwards that it was more convenient to go for a 2yrs program because of the PGWP thing. We had to abandon that offer and apply to other schools, but eventually settled for Lambton college, Toronto, May 2022 intake.
Due to sudden unforseen financial challenges, Paying for my compulsory first term tuition fee before the deadline given became a huge challenge that kept me up at night. I prayed like never before and God came through and brought help my way.
Submitting my visa application became another challenge because I didn't know exactly how to package my application as a self sponsored applicant. My profile was kinda complex and my story was very complicated. My friend Tobe1997 convinced me to give it to the renowned Frankrobbn to tie together, as it was his specialty. We hooked up and the man showed his acute knowledge of the process of study visa application. Because of his extremely busy schedule, it was stressful chasing him upandan to get his attention to my application, but as soon as I got it, my story suddenly became simple and straightforward.
I submitted my application on 21st November via the new portal, did my upfront medical and biometrics the next day. Upfront medical was updated to passed on 25th November while the biometrics delayed to be updated on the portal till 7th December 2021 after I raised webform and mailed IRCC about it.
During the waiting period, I prayed, fasted, did midnight prayers, booked mass, did everything I could to show God that I was totally depending on him to complete this project as I had done what I could do as a human. I lost faith sometimes, but his mercies always prevailed.
On the 18th of January 2022, my friend received her ppr while I received mine 10 days after hers. My detailed documents submitted are below:
Applicants personal documents 1. College Unconditional Official Letter of Admission, 2. Tuition deposit receipt (from the College) 3. Copy of my Birth Certificate, 5. Copy of West African Examinations Council Senior School Certificate (WAEC), 6. Copy of my International Passport Bio data page, 7. Copy of my family picture (dad, Siblings and I) 8. Statement of Purpose. 9. NYSC discharge certificate 10. Degree certificate 11. Transcripts 12. Reference Letter from my hometown union 13. Landed property documents in Nigeria (Deed of assignments and Survey plans) 14. Proof of rental payment from tenants (rental receipts) 15. Lease agreement for landed property
Applicant's employment/financial documents 1. Letter of Introduction from my employer. 2. Study leave approval letter. 3. Six (6) months Statement of Account (Personal/salary Account) - N21M normal bank statement 4. Promotion letter 5. Work ID card 6. Resume 7. Business Registration Certificate of my business 8. Particulars of the sole proprietorship of the business 9. Previous employment documents 10. Reference Letter from my business clients
My dad was one of my strong hometies, but I unfortunately lost him this January while waiting for PPR. It seemed like it was shaping up to be a bad year, but God showed up and rescued me.
This whole visa process has taught me so much about prayers and dependability on God, there's nothing he cannot do. Fasting and prayers works folks! Trust in God and there's nothing he cannot do for you. My study permit approval is the most improbable of all because I wasn't the most qualified, I wasn't even qualified. God just qualified me and made me eligible.
I requested for gcms on the 5th of January, mailed like 4 MPs in Toronto, only one accepted to help enquire from IRCC on my behalf. She gave me feedback from IRCC this Tuesday that my eligibility review was ongoing, but as at then it hadn't been updated on my portal. Meanwhile, I started mailing Abuja, Lagos, Nairobi and London like 10 times daily from the beginning of January after my application got to 6 weeks. I'd schedule my mails on my email app for every hour from 6am till 2pm Nigeria time, and they'll just deliver automatically at the top of every hour. The responses were always the generic ones, but I didn't care. I'd send webform via the new webform link in between from time to time. It seemed like the mails weren't yielding any thing, but I was encouraged to continue. This Thursday, I saw that my eligibility review had been updated on my portal, I went back and doubled down on my prayers that night, and then scheduled another 10 mails each to just Abuja and Nairobi every hour against Friday. By the time the 8th mail had delivered by 1pm, I received 2 mails from IRCC and also from their Abuja office that there's a message sent to my portal. At that point, I was in the middle of a serious meeting at the office and my hands were shaking to open my portal, I ran to the toilet and lo and behold the beautiful messages of correspondence and ppr were seated pretty on the portal. I didn't know what I felt. I pinched myself to wake up, quickly urinated to know if I will wake up, but it was all reality. I couldn't contain my joy. After all the sleepless nights, worries and all, God has crowned it all with success.
I am eternally grateful to you all on this platform for the encouragement and information shared freely. God bless you. For those still waiting for their good news, keep trusting, there's nothing impossible for God to do.
Like always, it has ended in praise for me.
