http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/04/16/i-did-not-indict-jonathan-says-okonjo-iweala/ But reacting to the reports yesterday via a press statement captioned “Low Savings: Okonjo-Iweala Did Not Indict the Jonathan Administration”, her Media Adviser, Paul Nwabuikwu said some recent media reports have distorted the comments “Contrary to the slant given by these loud headlines, Okonjo-Iweala did not indict the Jonathan administration in which she served. Rather, she was referring to what many Nigerians already know; the strong opposition by some governors to the Jonathan government’s efforts to save in the Excess Crude Account and the Sovereign Wealth Fund sabotaged this important national priority. “The governors’ criticism of Okonjo-Iweala’s many calls for the country to save for the rainy days are still fresh in the minds of Nigerians. This opposition culminated in the governors taking the Jonathan government to the Supreme Court in furtherance of their position that the Federal government had no right to “compel” them to save,” Nwabuikwu said. The statement added that several knowledgeable persons including a former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi confirmed these facts. “So the issue of Okonjo-Iweala indicting the Jonathan administration over this very public issue simply does not arise. We urge the media to always consult for clarification whenever the need arises,” Nwabuikwu admonished. To lend credence to the position that the ex-minister’s comment was not an indictment on Jonathan, she had in an interview with an international magazine, Le Monde, last weekend said: “When I was finance minister, the first time, the volatility of oil prices, and therefore state resources, cost at least three points of growth in the country. “We then established a stabilisation mechanism and opened an account for the oil surplus, which posted up to $22 billion. In 2008, when prices fell from $148 to $38 a barrel, no one had heard of Nigeria because the country was able to tap into this fund. And that I am very proud of. “When I returned to the department in 2011, there remained only $4 billion on this account while the price of oil was very high! I tried again to put money aside. The president agreed, but the governors did not accept. “I suffered a lot of attacks from them and now that the country would really need this account, these same people accuse me of not having saved. If Nigeria had been more careful, we would not be here today. It hurts me. We have the mechanism, we had the experience, but we were prevented to act.” |

The way PDP will rise and conquer the political landscape in 2019 will be like a dream to many people. some will die, some will kick rubber bucket, some will have high blood pressure, frustration will kill some people and so many other things. As far as I'm concerned PDP is the only party still holding this country together. if not dis country for don't fall press dat match stick were dey Abuja and uncle of the night in Lagos. N.B : if you have no important tin to say, I beg in d name of God nor quote or u nor go like ur destiny.. |

Time2Smile:What are u saying, did u not read my earlier comments where I said I do not support jungle justice, like it was said earlier one of guys caught was just bailed 3 days ago on d same account of stealing and was released, that was possible because of connections. these guys kill wen they rob, they stab people or is dat not barbaric?. if u have had any encounter with these guys, u will believe u are lucky to be alive. Have you asked yourself, there is a big police station not too far from where dat incident happened, they always patrol vehicles along d length and breath of dat road, what where they doing wen all this commotion was going on, were they on maternal leave, coffee break or sleeping. let us be sincere here, these killings will not stop until d rot in d police force and d judiciary is cleared, because d people has lost confidence in them. in normal climes all d officers on duty dat day would have been arrested and detained for negligence. if u still can't reason with me after this please don't quote me. thank you. |
At least now d town go calm small, na now u go cum see those bastard from Avenue police station dey do patrol. I lcomot Warri two weeks ago, I wan carry keke go park, very early in d morning, naso we see man were dem rob for Okumagba avenue after Eburu Junction, dem shot am on d spot and vamuse wit him motor. that killing happened d last night around 8pm and police patrol vehicle dey estate. d body was there till d following day and we get police for Avenue, the thunder wet go those police men and armed robbers dey do press up for Benin bypass. |
Igholize:Nor mind those people, my Sister collected her salary last month, it was a friday evening, she withdrew 35k from her account and also had another 35k, because she needed to service some dept she was owning. my sister enter keke, na so them collect d 70k for her hand plus her infinix fone of 25k, plus are hand bag, na so dem drop am for deco junction, naso she begin cry like homeless person. so tell dat kind person say wen dem catch d thief, make dem nor do am anything, carry dem give police, 100k dem don go on bail . just pray make God nor let jam those boys if not u nor believe wetin happen to u. |
I know jungle justice is bad, but I live in Warri, especially dat okumagba avenue, Eboh, Eburu Axis. those armed robbers nor get chill at all. Day and night them dey rob, snatch cars, steal phones, stab people anyhow. them don rub like 40 people for Eboh road alone, d funniest tin b say Police B division dey Eboh. them nor do anything, For Warri u go dey pray make God help u enter better Keke if not u don' die b dat, them go rob anything robable for ur body and you expect wen people catch dis thief dem and dem nor go burn dem, were e b say even d police na armed robbers too. I beggi make una leave matter for Mathais. Everyday for Eboh dem dey snatch cars and rob people, a times u go sitdown outside dey find fresh air, robbery dey go on across d road krokro. by d way wen dem burn this thief dem, were d police for avenue police station or u wan tell me say dem nor know wetin dey happen. their na to find #50 from Keke for estate and wen them hear gun shot, dem go disappear. e short una know how many robbers avenue police station dey release alone, those police men and women are hardened criminals and their day go soon cum for dat Warri. |

A man rented a house and moved in with his family. After 2 years, the rent was increased from #400,000 to #500,000. He didn't complain because he liked the house. The following year, he couldn't come up with the money and the agent was on his neck. The wife saw what the husband was going through and decided to help. She borrowed the money and gave the husband to pay the rent. The husband was indeed very happy that his wife was so helpful and he paid back later. 2 years later, the house rent was increased to #700,000 and the man became upset. So he begged the agent to introduce him to the landlord so that he could plead with him but the agent bluntly refused. The man decided to do an underground investigation to uncover who the landlord is. What he found out really shook him: The house belonged to his wife. The question is: What will you do if you were the man and what will you do if you were the woman? Pls be sincere with your comment. |
EHMIR:well done bro, how are u? |
