Mynd44: The market women in Bodija market(Ibadan) sweat for those things they wear. They dont have corruption charges on their backs, they were not oil ministers when oil sold for the highest and money started growing wings.
Do not insult Ibadan women, they might sound/look razz but they have honor and pride in not having their names smeared in thievery.
Madam, they wear gold yes, but they also have honor. Zombie |

I'm really against this scrapping of Post Utme and allowing Jamb to re-assign students to different instutions
Jamb is likely to assign lots of candidates to private and state owned institutions.. Think about the poor masses who are academically bright and can only afford to pay the fees of the federal owned institutions, what do you expect them to do when assigned to institutions they can't afford?
The goverment should have a re-think! Scrap JAMB! Leave Pume alone! |

Nollywood is a film industry wiith immense diversity — just like the country where it is situated. And because of this, the movies are produced in various languages. There are the English movies and there are the Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa movies.
The most advanced of these three is the one in which the Yoruba language is spoken. It still has it’s setbacks, but the major one is in it’s translated subtitles. Nigerians are well aware of the blunders made by translators of Yoruba movies. It’s hilarious to those who watch them, whether or not they understand the language, because everyone can understand the subtitles.
This is a list of the funny faux pas in the movie subtitles |
