CY09: Good morning fellaz, we thank God for the grace of another day...As we patiently await NYSC time-table, I suggest we start getting ourselves prepared with what we will need to make our camping experience a bit comfortable...As for the foriegn students, you should should start planning to come down for registration as it has already begun...Waiting for the last hour I hear is often stressful...If you are a lady, ensure you dress properly before going to Abuja, cos I hear the people are religiously inclined, this is to avoid embarrasment and not being attended to...Wish you all a wonderful day ahead!

Anyway, let me clarify my point b4 Lady D comes to clarify her joke.

1st: the joke is simply a joke. Yes it does have morals to be learned from it. But we took it too serious last night, trying to defend our gender. Both of them had their fault. The man, bin the head of the house n also needs a favour from the woman should hav broken the silence n communicated. The woman who bin the peace-keeper n home-maker, should not hav retaliated in punishment, but broken the silence. If she did that, the man would apologize for bin naughty. No harm done.

2ndly, the reason I made the comment about SOME women being more hardworking (with emphasis on some.), was as a result of the statement GC made.
If u go to my village in kogi state, go to the market for instance, u find few men there. Go to the farm, its the same story. Maybe coz I was brought up in the north where ladies r pampered n not allowed to work or stress. The man provides no matter how hard he must strive. The woman can help by selling things in the house, but datz d most she'll do. The man would push water, sell kolanuts, etc to make ends meet. An aunt of mine came from the village to visit n noticed a northern man pushing water for sale, n they were also the majority in the market selling foodstuffs (any woman u see, is probably from the west or south). She was amazed! Coz itz not possible to find such back home. I know our people r very proud. (Both males n females). So it restricts the males to do certain things. But the woman can't see her children going hungry n do nothing! Datz just my point. N I'm sure its not just my place u see somthing like that. The good news is, with civilization, comes wisdom. He goes to work n provides. Mostly with the wife assisting with her income too.

There is no 1 side. There are various ways of seeing the truth. Some ppl can choose to be blind to the truth even if it smacks them on the head. So, I think its best to stick to wat you believe in but try to learn or understand other point of views.
