What makes the mid-range smartphones be more desirable than the latest flagship devices these days?

I can say we all love the flagship phones, from the premium finishes and good looks to the high-end specs.

Apart from the extreme pricing that’s limits the number of people that can actually afford the phones, it seems that even people who can afford the flagship devices end up buying the mid-range devices especially in this recent years.

So what makes the mid-range devices so special that one would choose it over a premium flagship device for daily use?

I have a rough idea on why that would be the case..


Convenience.
As we’ve seen in the recent releases of mid-range phones, the one thing that they excel in better than the flagship phones is the battery life. For example the Infinix note 5 will give you up-to 3 days battery life compared to any flagship phone which can barely handle a full day of regular usage. Now I know I don't want to have to carry a power bank around with me whenever I'm out travelling or I when I know I wont be near any power source for a while, so the first thing I would want to have is a phone with good battery life.


Cheap
The price of the device is pretty much the most obvious factor, but I’m not only talking about the cost of buying the phone, but also the cost of repairing it. If you dropped the Pixel 2 for example and broke the screen, we all know how much it would cost to replace the screen. For most of the mid-range devices however, it's different case, first of all it might not even brake since most mid-range devices go for the plastic finish rather than glass which is more fragile, but they still manage to make it look and feel premium even with the plastic finish it would hard to notice the difference in my opinion.

Apart from that the overall performance of a mid-range smartphone would very much suffice for your daily usage, the camera has improved, and many mid-range phones have dual cameras too, packing at least 3gb or 4gb ram which isn’t so bad unless you’re a heavy user or plan to have the device for gaming but it isn’t that bad either.

The phones barely have any lag except for when playing heavy games but they still fare well, although the flagships would still be a better option for gaming or photography.

What do you think, would you go for a flagship or a mid-range smartphone? I Know I would choose both.

This is the best thing so far, as so many tecno product are now very economically to purchase and with advanced features that can be compared with big phones ...

I just bought the tecno spark 2 after my iPhone was stolen just because its was cost friendly n the phone has been serving the purpose.

Way to Boost Phone Battery
1. Check through your phone for that which depletes your battery
Some apps that run on the background and have unrestricted access to data can be the culprit of this kind of problem. You can simply Navigate your phone settings to view your Battery meter, this will explain to you the different apps that require more power usage than others. You can simply restrict its use of battery in the background by clicking turning off “unrestricted access”. Apart from this you can also turn off or uninstall the app, if it’s something you are not actually using..

2. Turn off Auto-Startup on your Social Media Apps
Apps such as Email, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter sometimes deplete your battery life in the background especially if they can Auto-start on their own. Turn off the Auto-start button to save more of your battery life and so boost your battery performance

3.Turn off your Radio Button
We love utilizing our smart devices such as the TECNO spark 2 to the maximum with buttons such as GPS, WIFI and LTE. But this are not obviously used every minute of the day, so you should turn them off when not in use to save more of your battery and boost your battery performance.

4. Reduce Screen Brightness
Your screen doesn’t have to be so bright, you can boost your battery performance by reducing its brightness. In addition, reducing your screen brightness is also a good way of helping your eyes, because too much of blue light is bad for it.

5. Turn off vibrate and haptic feedback to save battery
Switch off vibrate. Unless you really need that added awareness, turn off vibration alerts for incoming calls. It actually takes more power to vibrate your phone than it does to ring it. Turn off haptic feedback too (that buzz you get from typing on the keyboard). Sure it feels cool, but it doesn't really add anything to your experience, and it's another battery drainer. Your TECNO Spark 2 may not necessarily have the best battery performance but with these tips, you can improve on its battery life.

As rumours for another TECNO Spark hit the airwaves, bloggers and smartphone lovers have been clamouring around to get a glimpse of the device’s image and specs.

Last year TECNO Introduced a new Spark Smartphone Series in Africa targeted at people looking for great camera phone without breaking the bank. And interesting, the first Spark Series was the bestselling devices for that year.

It is almost a year and TECNO is preparing to launch another Spark smartphone which is rumoured to be nicknamed TECNO Spark 2 with an upgraded camera and super bright display. If the leaked images below are anything to go by, the new Spark device might be the most affordable smartphone with the brightest camera ever.

In other departments, the yet to be released TECNO Spark 2 is definitely not a slouch as rumour has it that the device will flaunt several new features such as an amazing facial ID security feature and a fuller baseless screen.

The Processor power department is also said to be amazing as the Spark 2 is said to run on the latest Android 8.1 which will enable the new SPARK 2 deliver a fluid multi-tasking experience better than any regular smartphone.

In terms of pricing, we also hear that the device will come with a price tag that will be unbelievable.

If everything goes as planned, the upcoming TECNO Spark smartphone might come in the first week of June 2018.

I just accumulated my money for CAMON X PRO today.

I have been following the phone thread since day 1 and there were good comments from the first users.

Recently, I have seen different complaint from users here saying the CAMON X PRO is giving them problem and headache join .

I am not a phone freak though . I only want to get this because my CAMON C7 doesn't have 4G and the internal memory is small.
