For the past few months i've been battling with a lot, burnt through a lot of resources just to battle the failing health of my Dad... God knows how much Real Madrid & Football games in general has kept me going, i clearly broke down in tears at that comeback against Bayern and my girl thought it was just the game but it was all the emotions and pains i've been bottling up that just got loosed

I'm already looking forward to our 15th tomorrow and another reason to be happy in the midst of my Tribulations but now the zeal for it just got lost.

Well Death won.. i just lost my Dad this afternoon

Tbh i'm not prepared for it Emotionally, Physically and Financially anymore

With Kroos gone, Modric for one more year is awesome (I don’t care about the age and wages issues some other Madridstas have with him staying). Also liked what Cama said he in the linked tweet. Hopefully the youngsters will get to their peak quality with greater responsibility and more minutes in the coming seasons.

I hope we adapt cos we sincerely need to. If you watched our games without either Kroos or Modric in the team, then you will agree with me that our midfield combination of Cama-Tchouameni-Valverde has been very poor. See our first game vs Celta Vigo as an example (there are others too). In general, this season our best midfield combinations in games have always included Toni Kroos. I will love to see how a possible Tchouameni-Valverde-Bellingham midfield works if we choose to use 4:3:3 to accommodate Mbappe-Vini-Rodrygo/Diaz upfront as rumored.

I’m okay with Ceballos being a squad player and hopefully with Kroos gone, he might get more minutes next season. Yet I still don’t think he can ever be a starter at Madrid because he’s just not that good enough (having watched him since 2017-till date including his Arsenal loan spell).



Yeah, exactly! I have no problem with Ceballos being a squad player for rotation or as backup when injuries happen. But we might still need to splash money on a new midfield signing as a longer term solution for Kroos & Modric exit since there is no one in our current roster who has that DLP/maestro ability.

He’s on relatively high wages (€11-12m/year). He can’t get a similar wage offer in Laliga, which is the only realistic alternative for him IMO. With his contract running until 2027, don’t be surprised if he remains a squad player for the next 3 seasons to keep taking that fat paycheck (like Hazard and Bale in his later years). In hindsight, Pa Perez made a bad decision renewing him after that 5-10 games streak of good performances toward the end of last season.

The last season was trash👀 they tried to make it emotional but failed, it felt overcooked and the story of the last one who decided to be a man just felt out of touch, they could have fleshed her transition to better fit the story but they didn't, all the conversations with her/him were so cringe😪
