The players were really disgusting and pathetic on Sunday. My ears hurt from the cheers and claps they received from the fans starting from when they stepped into the pitch to train before the match up till when the line-up was called. Every touch, including the bad touches, received claps and 'vamos' from the fans. The Grada Fans (those guys in white) were amazing and sang many songs till the 90th minute. Celta's goalkeeper was booed and called 'puta' for any little delay. Any wrong call from the referee led to the fans chanting 'Negreira.'

Alas, those players put up such as horrible performance and just walked into the dressing room after the match. Only Courtois and Rudiger stayed behind and walked around the pitch to apologise to the fans. The boos started after the final whistle but later turned to claps for Courtois and Rudiger. The other players were nowhere to be found.

The most disappointing player for me this season is Valverde. I am not only referring to his performance but his lack of leadership in this difficult time. I want to believe he also wants Alonso out hence such a behaviour. If Alonso gets sacked and he still fails to step up, he should be stripped of the armband. After the matches against Olympiacos and Bilbao, the idiot captain talked to the press but always disappeared when we loss.

What a shame.

Nah, any team that wants to play possession football must have at least one technician who can hold the ball and keep possession. when I say must, I mean it in every way. If you wanna play possession football with players like Valverde, Tchomeni, Bellingham, you're just wasting your time. It's why Anceloti succeeded here. He knew how to play to the strength of the available players.

As long as say nah possession football Alonso wan play, he needs a technician, someone like Zubimendi, Stiller, Pedri, Vintinha, Wharton etc. If not he should just change to counter attacking style.

If Barca had a DM like Tchomeni to pair with Pedri they'll be top 3 or 2 UCL contender. Like Caicedo, the boy is doing his defensive midfield job; breaking up plays, engaging in duels, passing when necessary and aiding his team in set piece actions. For me, he's the most improved player under Alonso.

What Madrid must do is to get a Kroos/Pedri/Vintinha profile and pair with him.

The team should be more balanced? Guler/Bellingham can create from the middle, someone from the right, and a good striker will help the press.
