alright, cool. So this is what I noticed about it; the promo went top a notch when he talked about Punk meeting him backstage, that's reality right there. Take away that from the promo and it's a regular. You see all these years I've been arguing against storylines, I've been arguing against fiction, not because I don't like it, but because it's already saturated the business; it's too much. The wrestling world needs sport, it needs realism, and Bron's promo proved it. Though wrongly placed, the idea of having realism in wrestling makes it come alive. It's why the Pipe bomb was good, it's why shoots are good. Because if all you have is a product with storylines cooked up by some writers and fake characters and gimmicks, then your product is dead.

Problem plenty but Alonso contributed massively to this problem and it started during el classico. Vini is a superstar, he was playing well and on top of his game and you took him off and expect him not to react keh. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been taken off but he was playing well and on top of his game. It's like Xavi taking off Neymar in el classico and he was on top of his game.

I remember Xavi doing same thing with Raphinha in the Europa league game Vs Manchester United. Raphinha was on top and I think scored or assisted yet Xavi took him off and he was so pissed. The difference is that then, Ralph was not a big star if that was Neymar, there would've been fireworks. But at Madrid, with two UCL and multiple Laliga titles Vini may actually be a bigger legend than Alonso or at par with him. This isn't an excuse not to respect the coach but if your super star is doing well in the biggest league fixture, unless injured, you dont risk fireworks and media coverage by taking him off.

Now the biggest players have won and Alonso is left on the cold. Vini, Valverde, Bellingham, Mabpe, no matter the performance can no more be substituted.

Alonso sef is now making jittery decisions and coaching with so much fear. Score is 1:1, you want to win. You're introducing Ur best aerial attacker(Gonzalo Garcia) yet taking off Trent who's arguably the best croser in Spain. What kind of coaching decision is that?
