Minemrys: u really need to define ur interpretati0n of A list. If MM is A list, then black canary is A list too. Or how would u categorize the trinity then?
hulk616: black canary A list Pu7pl3 see what you have caused
Minemrys: no nah. Shey na im talk say MM na A lister? Make them c0me define A list make we see, so we go kn0w how them take grade am.
A-list= characters that are frequently used, well known and has strong following...MM has that despite the reboot and Cyborg replacing him while Black canary doesn't
hulk616: it was iron Man and fantastic four and Spider-Man.
Captain America was not part.
Captain America is even the one I remember more sef after X-Men it was Captain America..I even remember one fantastic four+Spiderman+X-Men episode and after it was Captain America
Minemrys: seriously, i never knew CA or Thor till avengerz. CA i heard of but never saw him as an important character. I even thought he was just a superman sp0of than a character on his own. When we talk abt A list, u basically kn0w all abt the character. Ask s0me people n0w, and they'll f0olishly tell u that captain america doesn't age. That's all they kn0w of him. Its like saying martian manhunter is an A list dc character cos he appearz in various jl t0ons. But who doesn't kn0w peter parker? Or charles xavier or rogue or invisible w0man?.
Martian manhunter was A-list before the new 52 when they replaced him with Cyborg so in my eyes yea he is A list too....Cap was popular especially in America and has been one of Marvel's go to characters so he is A-list
hulk616: which theory? The world has shown that they will rather watch captain America than Batman
judge it with their solo movies wise guy..that's how you know people went to specifically see that character..since that's the parameter you want to use(which I don't agree with btw)
Minemrys: then isn't it funny how many of us would kn0w of x men, f4, and spiderman without kn0wing of thor or capt america if they were that popular c0nsidering to u guys they were A lists? I knew of Flash, GL, the big 7 and many of us did, why n0t the so called A lists marvel characterz?
If you knew X-Men and Fantastic four then there is no way you won't know cap cos their shows were after the other simultaneously
Risky005: The wedding segment was not bad most people are just following the crowd mentality so they won't be called WWE fanboys. I don't let Facebook and YouTube smarks determine what's good or bad in wrestling, I create my own opinions for myself. If the bisexual angle was done in Aew they'd call it attitude Era kinda wrestling but since it's wwe it's trash
I didn't like it personally and I don't think they should be bringing back some attitude era sticks to TV anymore cos they are just redundant and what made me hate it more was them dragging Liv into it after all the repackaging talks
Minemrys: seriously. Cos b4 the mcu, i never knew thor as a c0mic b0ok character. And i always saw captain america as a rip off of superman that i did n0t take seriously. It was all f4, x men and spidey. Alm0st every nigerian knew these characters prior to the mcu.
Problem is that we ain't just talking about Nigeria here...these characters were only accessible to the few that really cared that's why it's like our love for comics just started
hulk616: popularity through sales of it's contents.
Cap has always sold enough merch before the MCU bruh..may not be as high as bats or supes or Spidey but it's definitely on the level of wolverine and Ben Grimm or Hulk
What are you saying? Do you think it takes one movie to make a character A list? Batman is the top DC character because of many many movies, animations, games, comics. Does captain America have that?
Tomorrow, you will come and say you know how to use Google.
No spoon-feeding in 2020
hulk616: I know my A list characters and captain America was not part before MCU
He got you
How do you measure A-list comic characters tho cos now I'm confused at where you're coming from bruh
TheKingIsHere: Many of them don't even know this sef.
Am sure that they don't know that because Captain America appeared in a black panther animation back then (over 12 years ago), and black panther beat caps silly, that animation stopped and was not completed until last year when black panther movie was about to be released in the mcu.
That shows you that not only did the viewers see it back then as an insult to their A list character, they also saw it that an African hero beat the living daylights out of their American hero.
PS; before anyone comes to start arguing on this, go and check the internet
I think that was an avengers animation where Black panther beat the crap out of all of them
Produced by Marvel studios, distributed by universal ABI Columbia I can't remember same way the first iron man was distributed by paramount so stop shifting it
