I guess you're able to relate because some folks here in Nigeria also put up tribal baiting when elections are close. You hear things like drowning in the lagoon and outright threats of death if you don't vote my candidate being directed at a tribe. Their leader had to adopt a religious ticket last time out! I guess it's this experience that's given you the ability to be able to spot tribal politics even in a room filled with same coloured mushrooms
