Hello everyone, i was sent a congratulatory mail from PG school yesterday evening, guess that is a cue to go and generate my invoice and pay the acceptance fee but i don't want to print out the invoice now since i am not ready to pay until tomorrow. I will like to know please how long one can delay the payment after getting the mail for one to generate invoice as i do not want to miss the admission but the cash is not ready yet.

It's officially six weeks after you were offered admission. That is what is on our admission letter, so check urs to confirm. However I will advice you not to wait till then, so you can register early.

Just send mail. That one is quite effective.

You are not paying via the machine o, you're paying on their website. You don't need to input any account number, just insert your atm card details and your pin, then you're good to go... You can pay anytime of the day.

We're you asked to print any receipt to acknowledge payment cos we were given some form of acknowledgement at the banks and I heard they would require it during departmental registration. Just saying what I heard.

Are you sure submission of those documents have to do with registration though? I think u are to submit them immediately. Registration is a diff ball game.

Please I have done my clearance today and I was give two of my document to be adressd to The Dean of my faculty and to the HOD of my dept.
So after that I will wait for PG to send me mail for the next step abi?

Yeah, all we got to do now is wait. Although the next step is school fees so u can keep checking their website from time to time to see when the portal would be opened

Guys what do you think of this... After receiving Admission Letter and printing it out, the portal to print out Acceptance Invoice wouldn't log me in. It says "Sorry you cannot generate acceptance invoice until Your Admission is ready" but my admission is ready and delivered since yesterday.
Anybody ever encountered this? Or who has a direct phone line to PG School pls?

Try later, if it persists you might have to go to the school or you could send a mail. They don't pick their calls but they reply mails.

I have printed my acceptance invoice but banks in osogbo (stanbic n wema) are telling two different things. Stanbic said I should revalidate my application number and wema said I should go to UI portal and generate RRR before I can pay. I went back to the site and there is nothing like RRR or that my application number needs revalidation.

Please what do I do? Do I go to the bank branches in UI or how can I generate the RRR?

All you need is your invoice. Try GTB. If it's the same story, then u might hv to come to Ibadan or Lagos. I sent mine to Lagos and my sister helped me with the payment.

I when for clearance this morning and I was cleared but on checking my adm. status it is stated there that I've been rescheduled for clearance again
I don't know if it mistake or I should just go back next week for clearance again

I think u should chill and check again tomorrow, if situation persists, then you might have to go to PG school to confirm.

We are to resume 2 weeks after the 13th. The returning students resumed on the 13th and we are to resume 2 weeks after. I got that when I went for my clearance, but it's possible they could resume their strike and the resumption be postponed. School fees portal is not opened yet, just keep checking the website.

I can't remember been snideful, I can't speak for others but myself. I also told you politely we were just catching fun, that you should lighten up. Anybody that is scheduled for clearance this week should not bother goin to the PG skol as they are on strike nd the place is closed. Also I think those expecting recommendation mails this week should put their faith in next week. Don't think UI will be dolling out any admission again dis week.

I did my clearance on Monday. So when did the strike start?

Those of you going for clearance don't forget to have an extra copy of all ur forms, especially ur acceptance form nd admission letter because once u are cleared u won't be able to assess that page again and u will be needing the forms later.

Just go to the bank with the invoice and your money, they will defray it for you. I did mine at Gtb, so you could try it.

It was indeed a tough journey but all the same interesting.

To those waiting at home for recommendation letter, you might be making a huge mistake . Please take a bold step to find out what is delaying your admission . I was also relaxing all these while waiting for UI to send me a mail.

I was about losing hope when I took the step to find out what was wrong at the pgschool and my department but lo and behold, my name was lying fallow on the merit list and I didn't hear anything all these while.

Even if you are living afar, travel down, don't send someone on your behalf, go to your department, go to pgschool, ask questions!

Mine is seven digit for the acceptance fee and nine digit for purchase of form.
* Yes, I made photocopies. It will be requested for by the lady who'd clear you. You are also advised to have copies of all the printed forms (admission letter in particular) cuz you won't be able to access your application portal once you've been cleared .
*Clearance doesn't take time. You should be done between thirty minutes. It takes up to thirty minutes because your certificates will be withheld for some couple of minutes
( I guess to verify it's authenticity). Hope I answered your one hundred and one questions?

You'll get the (3) clearance forms for #60 at the PG school cybercafe . You are to submit it blank with the rest of your forms

Hey, please I went to the bank and they said my invoice number is incomplete, that it is suppose to be 9 digits, can you help me check urs if it is 9-digits? Plus did u make photocopies of all ur other documents for clearance? That's the school certificate and co. Then did the clearance take time? I'm sorry for the plenty questions, please. Thank you
