Hello I WANNA BUY Redmi note 5 Pro 6GB RAM. But before I do, I do love to ask if it comes with warranty. I bought Xiaomi max 2 last year december from a seller here and last month, the phone network went off. I thought it was MTN Network cus I was using MTN in the 2 sim port. So I removed the sims and inserted it back but no service. Although, it does detect sim but it will write "No service." I input other network and still same thing. I switched to 2G but still the same. I even searched for network manually..... But still same. I went to the forum and I was told that I should return the phone back to the manufactural if I bought it new. They said it has warranty...... I called the seller and explained to him and his response wan't helpful at all.......... I bought the phone and ear piece from him 108k. This is the reason I wanna buy another Xiaomi phone cus I do enjoy xiaomi product and it's bwhat I use for business.

If problem persists with sims of other networks, do what daamazing has said.

Bro it's the same ooh.... Could it be software or hardware problem? Have restored factory setting but it's still same...... Still no service while detecting the SIM and the network name....

You said you have switched off your phone and turned it back on? Change network to 2G only, and see. Also try and use sims of other networks on your phone to see what happens.

Still the same bro... It detects any sim inserted but write no service... I've even switch to 2G.... What's the only solution bro?

Please help me, this morning while browsing my phone network just went off... Till now it's still showing no service.... Have switched it on and off... Have changed and swap the sim. The funniest thing is I was using 2 mtn line... Both sime service disappeared suddenly.... I put the sim in another phone and it was working perfectly. I inserted ot back to my phone but it keeps telling me no service and it do detect the 2 sim. Please help..... What could be the problem and if I wanna fixt it how much will it cost me.. I'm using mi max2 128GB RoM

With Redwolf Recovery he can still run normal weekly incremental update without downloading the full ROM...
About root privileges, he can always flash Magisk zip file after updating through recovery.

Will I need custom recovery for this?

Please if I root my mom max 2, will I still be able to install updates automatically?

go to setting>about>internal memory, keep tapping on it till it opens a page, den select 1 or 2 depending on the sim you wanna set to 4g..then open the drop down and choose your network mode.
