I've never seen such options on stock rom except with twrp installed.

Ota will ask you to reboot now to apply the update or to ignore

Chairman we did not get any feedback concerning the app that refused to uninstall.

It will be good for others facing similar issues to know what to do, so as to avoid asking the same questions over and over.
No mind me boss... I've uninstalled the trash..
Settings>>additional settings>>privacy>>device administrator I then unthick the app...then go to my installed app and Uninstall...

if it has to do with OTA, bro.. u must have done something on ur device with an app u might not be aware of...the outcome of what u must have done was to take place after rebooting(the bootloop ur device is on now (staying on MI Logo))...and maybe u didnt attempt reboot till after the update action...so the problem is not from the OTA...but showing my logo means ..

With Redwolf Recovery he can still run normal weekly incremental update without downloading the full ROM...
About root privileges, he can always flash Magisk zip file after updating through recovery.

Will I need custom recovery for this?

This is abnormal, that's where all your battery juice is being sacrificed, backup, do a factory reset, and update if possible.
